36, Greenville, SC***UPDATE EASTER 2017: Well, my hair has more gray and my weight has exploded. I have had a beautiful roller coaster of a journey. The kids who have come through my home have been all-consuming, and going to battle with DSS or simply facing the awfulness of so many situations I've encountered have broken me on more than one occasion. But at the same time, I couldn't be more affirmed by Our Mother in what I am trying to do. God continues to change me in dramatic and frightening ways, and I keep trying to trust him to hold onto the next steps. Some folks have asked for updates and I'm so grateful for the thoughts and prayers. I hope the peace that passes understanding is with everyone on the CM site and you all have a glorious Eastertide well beyond the next 50 days! ***UPDATE 12/30/2014: Hello! Peace and Joy to everyone on this site! I am updating my profile to explain that I have decided to no longer use CM. The past six months have seen profound changes in my life-- all gently and beautifully guided by our blessed Mother, Mother of Joyful Hope (her title as Patroness of my state), to whom I have consecrated. I have recently completed a Homestudy to be a foster parent. While these children will most certainly need a father-figure in their lives, I will entrust that provision to God and will connect with the wonderful families in my parish. God in his wisdom and omnipotence may have a plan that includes bringing a father and husband into my family one day, and nothing would bring me greater joy. But for the meanwhile, all of my spare time and energy will need to focus on nurturing and loving these broken children. Please pray for me in my mission, and I wish you all the good things Our Lord wants to give you! I love to laugh and find I don't do it often enough. I love to see God's beauty in creation, other people, and especially the situations that He so perfectly designs. I love to get to know people and develop deep, lasting relationships. I am passionate about music and performing arts, particularly as a ministry. I think children are the most precious gift that God could possibly give us after the gift of himself, and I believe I could have no higher calling than to raise children to love Him as I do. I'm the proud auntie of two amazing nephews, I've passed the series 24 general securities principal license. I love discovering and trying new things, and I want to be more open and less intimidated by the unknown.
32, North Augusta, SCHello! I'm definitely a people-person and have a fun-loving sense of humor. I love to get people to crack a smile. I like socializing and hanging out with friends, but I also enjoy my quiet time at home to play with my dog, cat, and birds. I'm always finding new things to do to keep me busy; be it painting, card making, piano, gardening, cooking, and antiquing. Great at movie trivia! Paddle boarding is the best! I also must add I love writing. I am dedicated to live a life doing God's will. When I was just starting high school I was called to caring for the sick and disabled, which I have been doing since. I have been a RN for 9 years now and I love it!
41, Summerville, SCI am a single mom living in Summerville, SC. I work full time as a physical therapist assistant for a home health agency. Even though I live in SC, I am a Georgia girl at heart.
75, Johns Island, SCI am passionate about my religion, my family, and politics. I also enjoy cooking, which I do every week for the CCD children and their families. At our church our pastor gives free dinners to the children and their parents and the teachers. I cook for about 15-20 people every week. I also work two days a week in an office where my middle daughter also works there. I usually only work about 3-4 hrs. each day. I like working outside, which I have 1/2 acre of land to take care of by myself, but when I get done I feel like I have accomplished something. I own my own home and have an American Eskimo dog who is getting on in years. She will be 11 yrs this May. The people in my church have been very influential in my life especially when I took sick. I also enjoy reading good mysteries, especially when I am walking the dog. I have 4 grandsons ages 10-13-18-20 who are the light of my life. I love to travel, go out to dinner occasionally, play cards and taking walks. I love the water. I am usually a very upbeat person always feeling like the glass is half full and not half empty. I laugh easily.
56, Murrells Inlet, SCI am very devoted to my elderly parents. I love my Catholic faith. In my spare time, I take every opportunity to go the beach or enjoy my hobby of quilting and being creative!
31, Trenton, SCI am kelly. I am 29 years old. I am originally from Iowa. I am divorced with no children. I have traveled all over the world. I am looking for a great catholic man.
34, Spartanburg, SCThe best was to describe myself is not like anyone else. I have a lot of typical "girl characteristics" such as a love for sappy movies and being a hopeless romantic, but I also have lots of other things that make me different. There really is no way to explain it, you'll just have to find out. I enjoy quiet evenings with my kids and I like adventures to new places. I can be spontaneous but really I enjoy things being planned. I adore Jane Austen. Pride and Prejudice is my favorite. I love reading and the beauty of the world. I grew up Catholic and as of recently I have found a new resolve in my faith. I have started veiling this year. I have started attending Latin mass. I have a very strong love of Our Mother and pray daily to her. I am a single mother and as most single moms say, the kids come first. Do not expect to meet them immediately. I will not accept less than what I deserve. I have put myself last for so long and just "settled". I have been in some extremely bad relationships as a result of that. I won't tolerate rudeness or "thug-ness". I believe in chivalry and being raised in the south, I would think that would be easy to find, but I've been surprised. I have started a new chapter in my life and I'm trying to get healthy again. I would love someone to help motivate me. I am finding I actually enjoy working out and I have really started feeling better. I hope to continue that. Just say hi, you never know.
22, Florence, SCMy name is Caroline. I am 22 years old (my birthday is October 6). I am in school to become a Paralegal, and I have a part-time job. I absolutely love my faith!!!I prefer the Traditional Latin Mass! Deo Gratias!
55, Columbia, SCI love reading mysteries! Love Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie.. I use to bowl on a league, my highest game was 190! I play Bunco, a dice game. Have started exercising at the Post gym, so if you hear a groan, its me! Lol. I love to travel, anywhere. I like swimming, tubing, river rafting. I have 3 children, all grown. My daughter does live with me. I have 3 animals, cats, which are all loved like different kids!
53, North Augusta, SCI'm a business professional and enjoy having a good time! Looking for someone who has similar interests. I enjoy the beach, road trips, watching football (Go Clemson!), and spending time with my children.
26, Charleston, SCHi All, I am not that big on online dating, but figured I would give it a shot with a twist. I have one photo posted, a photo is worth more than a thousand words. This was taken a few years ago on top of the conference center in Granda, Spain. (I still look the same, just longer hair). I was attending a science conference as a student (Still a student). There was not one day, when I did not go to daily mass. Running around the city was very enjoyable, and having the chance to practice my Spanish (with the little I knew) was nice. To live a life that enables me to be true to myself, and not feel pressured to change...that is all I want. And, to find a guy who is like a best friend, that enjoys the same things I do would be nice. The most important thing is the ability to talk about God, and how He is working is your life. The ability to see God in all aspects of your life, and be able to share those things. That is what I seek. I have not found that yet, I have in wonderful friendships...not in a relationship. Not a must, but a plus. I am Hispanic, and am discerning whether or not God wants me to incorporate more of the Hispanic culture into my future family. I have the desire for this...even to have Spanish in the household, if the man preferred. I feel at home, when surrounded by the Hispanic community, so it is important to continue and deepen that connection. But, I'd rather be with a man I can have deep, long conservations with about God above anything else. And, to go to daily mass together when married (if he is not currently living nearby), pray the rosary together, discuss the bible together and other spiritual books. I'm not really seeking anything but friendship right now, but opened to something more in the future. I like to be friends first with guys, not just dive into relationships. I would rather have the guy contact me, not the other way around.
28, Charleston, SCLooking to meet fellow Catholics in the area. I love the outdoors, gardening, dancing, learning about other cultures and speaking French .... the list goes on. You will need to get to know me first to find out the rest. I may seem quiet but open up best one on one. I can enjoy a night out or simply cooking a delicious meal and watching a good comedy. Looking for someone who can make me laugh and has the same goals in mind. Most importantly, having and striving for our better selves with God's hand in our lives. Hoping to have a family and give back to my family what wonderful childhood I had.
