70, Due West, SCMy Catholic faith is most important to me. I want to grow in holiness and would appreciate the company of an individual who is also interested in developing a deeper spirituality. I'm a visual artist who works full time teaching art at a small liberal art college in the Southeast. In the summers I drive to North Dakota to make art and to be near my grown daughter, her husband, and my grandson who was born in 2011. I grew up in the Midwest, am the product of Catholic schools except for graduate school, and am the oldest of my siblings. Both my sisters are married and I have one niece. My marriage was annulled 20 years ago. My former spouse is deceased. I like attending art exhibitions hosted by major museums. However, this summer I'll be fixing up a little house for the purpose of renting it out so I'll need to hone my handywoman skills. We'll see how that goes!
62, Murrells Inlet, SCLiving in the Myrtle Beach area is quite a change for this Midwesterner. I moved to this area about 7 years ago to care for my parents. They fought the good fight and it was an honor and blessing to journey with them through hospice. They are now resting with their Lord and I am able to focus more on my wants and needs. I learned a long time go that alone doesn't have to be mean lonely, but alone isn't necessarily what I want. Walking the beach (if it ever gets warm again!) is one of my favorite ways to end (or start) a day. I love to laugh and to make others laugh as well. I am a firm believer that attitude is everything and that we are about as happy as we choose to be. And I choose to be happy. My faith is vital in all aspects of my life. I'm active in my parish and know that is where my real strength resides. I leave all in God's hands. If His plan is for me to find someone, it will happen in His time. But I do hope to find someone with whom I can share some time, some laughter, and maybe some good red wine.
47, Greenville, SCTo begin - a quick prayer for you and me that no matter what, God's perfect will be done for both of us. So.............As for me, I am a happy and faithful person who is interested in meeting someone with a similar disposition, willing to start a meaningful friendship first and foremost - the only way to get to a best friend status. With that being said, I would eventually love to be married in the church - this time permanently. I was married but annulled (2011) now. I love life and my faith. Learning more and more about Catholicism, even as a cradle catholic, has become a bit of a hobby these last 18 years or so. I attribute this to my former work with teens in our parish, my 15 years of my weekly adoration hour (9-10am every Sunday morning) and the various Bible studies I have both attended and facilitated. Having visited Rome certainly didn't hurt either! I am very involved in my church, my community, and my son's parochial school. Most would describe me as a natural leader and I believe God gave me the talents to make a difference in this world. I am definitely committed to leaving our world a better place. Lastly, I have a beautiful ten year old son who makes me laugh and smile everyday, he has taught me the power of living in the moment and not taking anything too serious or for granted. He has quite a little personality and loves taking adventures with mom and I love planning them for us. It's so cool that he is of an age that it has become a lot easier to travel. I am really interested in going on an annual mission trip, especially when my son is old enough to go and see a real third world country, so he'll appreciate his American privileges sooner than later - working on next spring break to Jamaica with Missionaries of the Poor. This August/September we will take our first overseas pilgrimage to Rome & Medjugorje with our priest and 20 others from our parish. I feel extremely blessed and grateful to be on the faith journey God has planned for me. I trust HIM and always seek His will be done. I've totally turned over my perfect man to God as I know he'll do me right! ;-) Take my personal interview and we'll see if we're compatible...

I believe life has much to offer, and I am passionate about finding someone in the future to share my life with. God has something in store for us aside from charity and volunteering work. There's a great big world out there to explore, different cultures, places, etc. I want to be happy, enjoy my life and share it with someone I love and my family.
