37, Memphis, TNHello. I am a 35yr old single mom to two children. I have an 11yr old boy and a 1.5 little girl. I have talent and passion for singing. I enjoy cooking. I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, canoeing, and riding my bike. My son is active in sports so I go to all of his games and practices. I admit talking about myself is hard. Go ahead and ask me anything you want to know.
66, Chattanooga, TNCherished, loved and honored by God. Being secure in this love helps me to unite my joy and suffering to Jesus in a redemptive way. Surely, the more one is in tune with this, the more perfectly one is able to love, in all the different ways: Agape, Eros, and Filial. My church and prayer group friends are important. My intention is to catch up on all those great spiritual books I have. I love to go to daily Mass when possible; Lunch with friends; Line dance at the Senior Center; and attend dance lessons, ie: Round and Western Square Dance; Contra; some ballroom like simple Swing and Waltz for socialization and exercise. I love a good festival with crafts and music in the spring or fall. Or dress nicely and attend the symphony. Love the ocean & mountains. Haven't been to Europe yet still intend to, but just happy with an old Cary Grant movie, a mocha coffee, my dog and a few friends. Really I have had varied interests. I learned a little canoeing. Love to work in clay and fiber arts. Stopped at a sheep farm once & sheared a sheep. Spun the wool ,Made a scarf for my son. I can draw and paint, & quilt. I have hiked all the Smoky Mtn. trails. enjoyed camping and white water rafting in my earlier days. Each of us has quality people right in our own backyard. we just wonder about that "special someone" don't we? Our hearts are just gonna be restless till we rest in The One who knows & loves us and is with us ALWAYS. He directs our paths, and even introduces us to some special friends along the way. God Bless.
62, Goodlettsville, TNI look forward to sharing activities with someone special: traveling, sightseeing, dancing, and cooking are some of my favorites. I'm looking for a person that is intelligent, kind, and adventurous with a good sense of humor. I've enjoyed my experience as a wife and mother. I've also enjoyed career pursuits in nursing and business. With my leisure time I travel, visit friends and family. I also participate in a church group and a storytelling group.
47, Hermitage, TNI hate this part, but I'll do my best to dazzle you! To start, my faith defines who I am. It is upmost to me and I have my mother to thank for that. My mother is my greatest inspiration and shared with me (and continues to continues to exemplify) the beauty of a woman's faith in God. As for hobbies, I love to cook, a glass of good wine with dinner, great friends, travel, walking along the greenway near my house, and watching the sun rise over Priest Lake. I enjoy great conversation and an occasional movie or good book. I belong to a historical group, so visiting museums and historical sites are something I enjoy doing on a weekend. I love sitting under the stars marveling in God's creation, or watching the waves crash on a seashore, reminding me of His majesty. I guess I'm pretty simple. Friends describe me as intelligent, charming, witty (if not outright funny, which it something that still puzzles me since I don't see myself that way!), and someone who perseveres with adversity. Over the years, I have come to realize that life is not a fairy tale. However, it is one we can write and create. I would love to have a companion to be part of that story.
30, Harriman, TNNot sure what to put, I like outdoors, guns, being Catholic, reading, can be somewhat of a home body, but mainly just because I really have no life beyond work right now. Apart from that, going to the gym or to the range is my de-stress mechanism though I don't seem to have time for either recently. I love history and science to the point where I had a whole day to myself in London and spent half of it at the Museum of Natural History. I studied Wildlife Biology in college so if you ever need to know about plants, birds, reptiles, amphibians, or mammals I can probably tell you more than you want to know. Needless to say, I am not going to drag someone to the salon and you will find me more at home in the woods than a perfume store. I grew up a Tom boy and haven't changed much.
48, Memphis, TNMy name is Nancy and I am a proud mother of two beautiful children. I have one away at College and one still at home, a junior. I am trying my best to live life the best way I can. I strive to find joy everyday and look for the positive. I love spending time with family and friends listening to music, sharing meals and just enjoying each others company. I take pleasure in the small things in life but also love an adventure. I have a passion for travel and love to explore new cities. I spend my free time with my family and friends. Loyalty and compassion for each other is important to me. Life is hard enough as it is, we need each other to get through the hard times and to celebrate the good!

33, Nashville, TNI'm a midwesterner (Ohio) by birth, but it turns out I'm a southerner by heart! :-) It must be the small town, country girl in me! I'm the youngest of 5 and the proud aunt to 21 nieces and nephews. I was raised in a Catholic family in a predominantly Catholic area, but hadn't always been too great at living out my faith... Moving to Nashville (about a decade ago) really started a transformation in my life, including my faith journey. I fumbled (still do) into learning it more deeply, making it my own, and trying to live out what I believe. About 4-5 years ago I realized my love for writing and my desire to share the little lessons I'm learning in my own journey toward living a more authentic life, so I started a blog called, Laughs and Love (www.laughsandlove.com). I've kept at it and am now working on a book, but who knows if I'll ever get it finished or if it will ever see the light of day. Haha! Aside from all that, I'm generally very outgoing and adventurous, and love to meet new people and enjoy life. I love listening to live music, dining out with friends, chilling at a coffee shop (where I often spend time writing), reading a good book, taking in Nashville in all it's Nashville-ness, traveling, or playing sports. I love to be active and enjoy a good workout (usually a run), but I'm not obsessive about it... because girl really loves to eat good food and socialize too! :-) Even though I'm an extrovert and get my energy from being with people, I highly value one-on-one conversations, quality time with smaller groups of people, and even the silence.

Maybe I'm too old fashioned for this.
