A fan of football and musical theater, action and some chick flicks, running and singing, talking theology and talking nonsense. But most of all, I'm a fan of finding someone to help me along the Way, to help me always seek the Truth, and to bring our lives more in line with the Life. Are you the one? I am in my final year of my PhD in School Psychology and am completing my predoctoral internship in Austin (read: after I am done with this year of clinical work and I defend my dissertation, the PhD is mine). Dallas is home, and I go back regularly to see family and friends. I received my Masters of Education through the University of Notre Dame while teaching high school in Austin, TX from 2010 - 2012. If you're confused as to how that possibly could've worked, shoot me a message. I'll be happy to explain! I speak, read, and write Spanish fluently and really want to speak Spanish to my kiddos- my Mom passing on her native language to my brothers and me is one of the best things she could have ever done for us. I've discovered I love traveling, big cities, exploring, and trying new things. Yet at the same time, I'm a homebody who likes my routine. I live for football season and absolutely love sports, both playing and watching. I enjoy singing, reading, the arts, and more than anything, laughing, in my spare time. I went to college in New Orleans and left a piece of my heart there. In my opinion, it's the best city in the United States. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to debate that fact ;)

Faith and family are my foundation. Social justice and the work out of the day are my passions. Friends say I am fun, solid and smart. Parenting my now teenaged son, graduate school and a part-time job make for a full life but there is room to share faith, fun, kindness and warmth.<3

Hi. I've lived in Texas most of my life. My faith and family are important to me. I think my family and friends would describe me as kind, honest, hard-working, and introverted. I love to travel and having fun in general. I love watching football and going to professional baseball and football games. I am shy and laid back but I don't mind meeting someone who is a bit more adventurous than myself. I don't have a need to always surround myself with a lot of people/friends; a close few is good enough for me. I enjoy the simple things in life but also look for some adventure as well.

This is always the part that is most difficult...talk about yourself and do it in a way that will capture the kind of person you are looking for...no pressure!;) So here it goes I was born and raised in Austin and love it here. My parents are from Western Pennsylvania and most of my extended family, whom I adore, still live there so I try to get there as often as I can! I grew up in a strong Italian Catholic family and have always found comfort in the church in both challenging and happy times. I am very blessed to have been raised the way I was and love my friends and family who have helped me become who I am today. Fast forward a bit - I am now an elementary teacher and love it! Some of the best things I have learned in life and about myself have come from me working with kids. I try my hardest to be the best teacher I can be and give the love of learning to the kids. I am also involved with a few committees at my school, which keeps me busy (one of the reasons I am on this site), but allow me to do other things and meet new people. I try my best at everything I do and give it my all. I try to be present in the moment and not take life too seriously. I usually can find humor in almost anything - it might just take a few minutes depending on the situation. I am a perfect picture of imperfection - I own this and work on it every day! Anything you want to know just ask me! :)

I am a kind-hearted person, and I treasure my family and love that we are close. I enjoy spending time with them, along with my 4-year-old son, who is such a blessing. For fun, I enjoy relaxing at a beach or lake, shopping, hanging out with friends and family, and watching movies. I am a strong believer that knowledge is power, and love to learn and challenge myself. I also enjoy dancing, listening to all genres of music (mostly mainstream), kayaking, playing the piano and volunteering at schools, church and work. I like to think I've got a good sense of humor since I love to laugh and crack myself up, but who knows. I am social, yet like a balance of quiet time. Would definitely want my partner to be my best friend. :) I am an open book, so feel free to ask any questions!

Short story- Love to enjoy life. My faith is most important to me and am looking for someone that wants to be active serving God and work together that we both go to Heaven. Long story-I grew up in a rural South Texas town, thus have a lot of country roots but enjoy the conveniences of the city. I consider myself very Catholic yet very open minded and non-judgmental, love people of all faiths. I hope to find someone that respects and cherishes me as much as I will them. I am a person that likes to go the extra mile on doing things for my significant other and am a very passionate, loving person. I can be very spontaneous or can plan out a wonderful time. I enjoy just about everything.... and I mean that. I like and miss fishing, going to sporting events, especially football, basketball, baseball, and car races Oh and love, love music, from country, to golden oldies to contemporary to spiritual. Love to dance, to walk the beach, go on a bike ride, or just sit on the porch and chat. I may look high maintenance but I really am not. I can dress down to jeans, and dress up to a formal. I enjoy traveling almost any where... as anything new is an adventure:) Now for me to get to the other side of me:) I keep a very tidy house and like to keep things well maintained. So I may be a little OCD:) Don't like drama or gossip. I am very creative, I like to paint contemporary art, I love to do fix it projects around the house, I love to cook on leisure days for others, or fix simply dinners during the week. I am into eating healthy 95% of the time. I can be very frugal at times using discounts or save up for large purchases to pay cash for things. I enjoy donating to help others. I am the mother of two wonderful grown sons and one grandson, he is my sunshine:), my best blessings in life. I am a very deep spiritual Catholic, I deeply believe in the saints, praying to Mary, adoration and charism's that we can be given. I truly believe that the more we strive to be like we are called to be there will be challenges, but as long as we always go back to thinking what Christ would do in that situation, we will endure and have true peace within our hearts. I feel in a relationship if you truly put Christ in the center, it will survive. My life has many chapters, yet know God has been with me through them all. I feel blessed everyday that he supplies me with the basics in life and everything else is a bonus. So I am looking for a bonus to share my life with :)

I'm loving life!!! I'm living it knowing God makes beauty out of the ashes. I believe fully that when He closes one door He opens another, and His plans for me exceed my wishes. So.....I whole heartedly believe He will find me an amazing guy!!! Since I fantasize about having a man who I find gorgeous, adorable, hilarious, playful, attentive, sexy, fun, lovable, intelligent, sensitive, caring & faithful, I can't wait to see what else He will grace me with in my guy. Any other guy is less than I deserve. When I have someone in my life that I really love, I love unconditionally with my whole heart. I got the opportunity to learn how from being a mom. I was like "mom of the year!" Now that my 2 sons are 21 & 24, it's time for me to share my love on the man who makes my heart do pre-ventricular contractions! (Yup you guessed it....skip a beat) at the sound of his voice. I am compassionate, loving, faith-filled, adventurous, curious, spontaneous, honest, sincere, faithful, intelligent, giving, sweet, cute, sexy, fun, witty, passionate, funny, and romantic. (Based on what others tell me...I'm not an ego maniac) I want to be with a guy who feels proud & secure having me by his side. I promise that if we make a good team, I will make you laugh, think positive about yourself, and feel @ peace with me in your life, every single day. I'm not a selfish person at all & do not wish to be with someone to fulfill some selfish guy needs. I don't need a man to pay my mortgage (I do), or fix my car (I have a mechanic) but I do need a man to feel in love. I want a man who wants to spend time with me, like couples or families boating or BBQing together, having a romantic dinner just the 2 of us, walking hand in hand around the neighborhood in the dark looking at Christmas lights, or snuggling together by watching a movie by the fire. Yes, I think you need to go off sometimes without your spouse, it's balance that I believe works. I am a nurse and nurturing by nature. I know how to love you. I know what a guy wants and needs. And here's the best thing, I love to make people feel joyful!

My last kiddo went off to college in August, and I am looking forward to the freedom to pick up and go. My most recent years have been focused on my children, and now it is "me" time again. I am ready to go-see-do and hope to find a man who is open to exploring with me. There is a lot to see and do in my hometown, and I also like to travel. I enjoy wine, quality food and learning new things. I am active and have a gym membership - recently have taken up light weight-machine work to keep my arms firm and prevent osteoporosis. (Not building up bulk, that is.). My parish is active with a lot of varied ministries and brings in a lot of speakers. I try to attend some of these when possible, including participation in the Rosary. One other recent presentation was a Word on Fire DVD discussion led by Fr. Robert Barron, which is offered over the summer. I find Fr. Barron's sermons to be thought-provoking and intelligent. Other people and many experiences have brought me to where I am now, but that is better left for a in-person meeting. I hope to meet practicing Catholic men; and, as an annulled woman, I am open to marrying again, under the right circumstances.

I would appreciate anyone not living in the Austin area to not contact me, please. I am not interested in long distance, thank you. :) I can honeslty say I have lived a fun, adventureous, happy life. I grew in a large family. My 5 siblings drive me nuts, but they are also my best friends. I left home & went to school in Fort Lauderdale Flordia, got a degree and a tan, then decided to move to California to be a movie star.................................................. :p I packed my bags & my boy Yogi (my Corgi) & he and I drove across the country to L.A. and started living the dream. I was in Cali for nearly a decade. My dog actually did become a youtube sensation, I just became jealous, hehe. I did some fun work over there, but had a deadline. I moved to Austin a little over 2 years ago. I started school AGAIN last Spring so I can get a career in the nursing field, currently in classes :p Amongst all my moving through life, I have sailed the seas, hiked many mountains, snowboarded the alps, built homes for the homeless, been awakened by a lions roar next to my tent in the middle of the night, almost died on a banana boat (lol!) in Mexico, got chased out of a castle by Irish ghost! Drank wine and danced at "discos" in Italy, shook hands with stars and made a million friends! I am now so ready to find that one friend to love and continue my adventures with.
