First and foremost, I am a Catholic, having studied and converted 17 years ago, after God used many ways and people to call me to Holy Mother Church. I am blessed with a wonderful family. We're all in Texas now. I'm blessed that my kids converted, also. I love being Grandma Minga to 3 sweet little girls and a 4 y/o all-boy boy! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and am fluent in Spanish (used to teach). I work in a mdical hospital currently. I am a people person, but also like quiet time. I enjoy looking for ways to serve the Lord and connect with people. I like retreats and workshops; water and exercise; dancing; cooking; reading. I like to travel. A true interest in, hope for, and courtship toward a sacramental marriage, a la "Theology of the Body" (John Paul II) where we could live out our vocation, is the way to win my heart!

Life sure can be a rocky road. Although I've encountered my share of bumps, I trust God to see me through. I'm looking for someone who has that same trust, and who has the same desire to serve God together as a trinity. Although I was never blessed with kids, I love the idea of sharing in the lives of yours. I love to cook and spend time with friends. I am an avid Texas Longhorns and Astros fan--I love to watch games in person and on TV. I love animals--my cat and dogs are a huge part of my life. I'm a faithful gal. I believe in honesty and being true through good times and challenging ones. It's the challenges in life that have the capacity to bring couples closer together and closer to God. What about you? Do you have the capacity to live and love and be "broken together" (borrowing lyrics from Casting Crowns)?
  • Monica, 25 from Houston, TX

My Catholic faith is the most important thing in the whole world to me and my number one priority in life is seeking out God's will. I have felt a calling to the married life for a long time, but it's so hard to find Catholics who want to follow everything the church teaches. I'm not sure this website will help, but I'm always up for trying new things. I have lived in Houston, TX my entire life and have not traveled much, but I love flying and I love going to unfamiliar places. I also like to cook/bake, read, and just spend time with and talk to people. I am also trying to get more involved in physical activities like running. I am currently working for a furniture company in the credit/collections department.

I want every day to be a wild adventure. I find that I have a very restless heart, but I think we all do if we get to the root of our desires. "The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for." (CCC 27). I am passionate about truth and beauty, discovering new cultures, feeding my soul, and being filled with wonder. I am an extroverted introvert, an athlete, a world traveler, book lover, and beer/wine connoisseur. I believe in staying active, eating healthy, and loving passionately. I am both sarcastic and sincere. I deeply cherish my relationships with friends and family and have a great love of music. I play guitar, write both deep and goofy songs, and lead the occasional praise and worship session. I am striving for sainthood each and every day as I fail miserably in emulating the Blessed Mother and I am a champion for bringing back authentic femininity. We all desire to be known and loved, so that is why I am here, just trying to open myself to the will of God and all of the incredible plans He has for me and my life. Maybe you are supposed to be a part of it

God is an important part of my life - loving, serving, knowing, and rejoicing in Him. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and helping in the community. Some things I always have fun doing with family and friends are watching movies, dancing, traveling, or working on art projects.

Right now I'm having a hard time figuring out what I am passionate about. Just had a fall and re-injured a herniated disk in my back so my thinking is still kinda foggy. My church and some of the people there have helped tremendously to bring me back to church and making me feel that God does indeed love me. When my back is not out, I enjoy traveling and seeing this beautiful country that we live in.
  • Caitlin, 28 from Lubbock, TX
    28, Lubbock, TX
Hello... I'm a bit on the shy side, an introvert, but when you get to know me I'm kind of a nerd. I was a flute player in college and now I teach music at a Catholic school. I have been teaching for 4 years now and I wouldn't switch to public school for anything! I absolutely love being in such a faith-based environment and working with such good kids. I get to celebrate mass with my students on a regular basis and even guide them in how to praise Him with their voices. But, I have always felt in my heart that my place in life is as a mother and a homemaker. My family is a big part of my life; I am the youngest of 5 kids and I have several nephews and a niece and I love to be involved in their lives and present as an aunt. So, my family is very important to me and I hope to have a large family of my own someday. I love movies and I love books even more. I like to bake, but I'm not very good at cooking. That has a lot to do with my personality. Baking is very straight forward, you follow the instructions and it all works. Cooking requires improvisation and creativity. I'm creative, but I'm not real big on improvising. When it comes to the Catholic faith, I am a traditionalist. I'm not a fan of modern music in the mass, especially the youth band stuff and the popular "me"-centered music. Mass isn't about us. Any questions, ask me! I'm very open and free with my words online. I'd love to be that way in person, too, but it takes me awhile. :)
  • Anna, 25 from Dallas, TX
    25, Dallas, TX
Hey there, I'm Anna. Here is a little about me: Fall and winter are my favorite seasons; I love being cold! I am up at 3:30 every morning and go all day. Living the life of a pastry chef is tricky, but completely worth it! I am shy at first, but once you get to know me I am completely different. However, I am not shy when it comes to singing at the top of my lungs in the car with the windows down! Also, I'm a big woman - this is who I am and I love myself for it. If you have read this far and want to message me, mention something totally random...I like fun facts!
  • Cynthia, 68 from Laredo, TX
    68, Laredo, TX
I'm very passionate about my faith and family. This is a very large part of my life and I enjoy this very much. Growing up in a small town and into a very close knit family, has made me really appreciate this aspect of my life. I have two grown children, a son and a daughter, that I adore but do not live at home. These are the people that have had a great positive influence on me, along with many long time friends that I have had throughout the years. I consider myself a very loyal person/friend. Many of my closest friends I've had since childhood. My parents instilled in us to love and care for each other and we have tried to live up to these ideals. I enjoy reading, cooking, being involved in the community, going to the movies and theater, traveling, watching NBA basketball, especially the Spurs and college footfall especially Notre Dame!
  • Andrea, 38 from Fredericksburg, TX
    38, Fredericksburg, TX
I'm looking for a friend and someone to spend time with. I would love to be married and have children with the right person. My Catholic faith is very important. I worked for the church for 8 years as a teacher and loved it. I would like to teach again and the best would be homeschooling our children. Unfortunately the pay was not enough to support myself so went back to city government. I have a good job now but would give it up in a heartbeat for a family. I also enjoy the outdoors, fishing and watching sports. I live in Fredericksburg and looking for someone nearby but I'm willing to go anywhere for a good man. Originally from the Houston Galveston area and love to saltwater fish. Open to learning new things. I'm very flawed but try. Im from a large family and they are important to me. My parents gave me a good foundation and would like to find someone that will help me be better. I haven't attended Mass much since moving as I prefer the traditional Latin mass and nothing nearby. I do miss it and always attend when back home. I'm shy at first but enjoy living life and looking for someone to do it with.

  • Aurelia, 31 from Mansfield, TX
    31, Mansfield, TX
I'm not a cradle Catholic, but I will remain Catholic for life. Some of the most amazing people I know are Catholic. I strive to be awesome too. I am a single mom. I have one child. My son has been praying for God to give him a father for years. My marriage did not need an annulment; it was never seen as valid by the church. I am a teacher, and I love it. I teach high school and I teach Catechism. I enjoy reading and I am slowly writing a book. I don't know if it will ever get finished or published, but I'm working on it. I don't have much family, but I have a few very close friends. I'm from Connecticut. I have a strong appreciation for the services of others. I hold a high regard for soldiers, officers, detectives, EMTs and other community heroes. I appreciate the martial arts. I really like scifi. I'm a firm believer that although hobbies and interests can bring people closer together, it is personality and common faith in Christ that will hold people together. If you are interested please contact me. I am waiting.
