Thank's for viewing my profile! I'm Marita. I say the rosary often, and I have recently become a sidewalk counselor to help counsel men and women at abortion clinics. I go to Mass weekly, but when I am in between jobs I go several times a week. My favorite mass is the Easter Vigil. I view marriage as a sacrament, so if I ever do get married, I will strive to be the best wife and mother I can be and help my husband bring up our children in the Catholic faith. As for my occupation, I teach "itty bitties" at a Catholic school. I get to work with kids, teach kids to read, and teach our Catholic Faith! It's three of my favorite things wrapped into one! My favorite things to do are hanging out with friends and family, swimming, playing my violin, reading, dancing, volunteering, going to the Adoration Chapel, and listening to music. My favorite sport is gymnastics. I was a gymnast from elementary school through college. I still find myself occasionally doing a move in the middle of the living room, and I often regret it later. :) I would like to find someone who is open to the possibility of me homeschooling my children through a homeschooling program or sending them to Catholic School.

Hi, Just looking for my best friend and a life long partner! I'm a busy professional and rather spend time with you in person. I prefer to spend my time with that special someone than on the internet. I like to work-out, go to the outdoor pools, walk my dog. I love to love! I will be ypur best friend and best everything!!! Life is good! I will be there for you till the end! You dont have to worry. Not looking for a daddy. I m a single parent and have everything under control. Thank god! I work with tons of kids, parents, and professionals (teachers &administrators). I am very grounded in faith and living in a joyful way that represents the commandment to love neighbor. Most of my time is devoted to care for loved ones and volunteer through SVDP and other outreach programs but I also enjoy outdoors activities and like road trips. I cook for family and neighbors often and like to draw or paint at times. The biggest influences in my life are really too many to list. I am impacted by not just key people but events and ,of course, the lives and examples of the saints. JP2 is definitely a huge one for me, I identify with him on so many levels that its easy to learn from his life and see how I can grow from that. St. SR. Faustina is my Patroness and a big teaching influence also. If I had to choose one individual it would be Mary, Our Blessed Mother, in my journey as a woman and a mother I am constantly reminded of how she experienced things through a humility that shines forever, she is definitely as source of inspiration and help.

My Faith comes first with me. I love the Trinity and the Virgin Mary. I 'm easy going and get along with everyone. I like to read books, watch movies, walk trails, go fishing, two-step/ dance, pray the rosary, hang with my family, and play with my bird. I may live in the city but I'm a country girl at heart. I'm looking for someone with similar interests and is a devout Catholic.

I am most passionate about God. I look forward to time with him within the boundaries of the Church and outside. I love to attend mass and adoration as frequently as I can. The most influential people in my life are the ones who share themselves for the good of others. The list cover a wide spectrum of individuals. Theologians, Religious Clergy and Laity, Ordinary People with extraordinary habits and virtues. In my free time, I like to exercise, spend time with people, work on something constructive ( I usually like to try out new things and experiences).

I am passionate about the arts and its subtlety in addressing our deep seated innermost thoughts. I look forward to sharing my life with a true friend and companion. My parents have been the most influential in my life. I love spending time with friends, watching movies and doing some sports during my leisure time.

I'm a Texas girl, born and raised, although I went to college in Massachusetts. I enjoy cooking and good books, as well as spending time with friends and family. For Lent 2011 I decided to attend mass every day, something that was never possible for me before and has never been possible since. It was the most amazing spiritual experience and the event that pushed me from simply calling myself Catholic to truly becoming Catholic in my heart. I tend to be quiet at first, but once I open up people are amazed they ever thought I was quiet. I know my own mind and enjoy expanding it constantly. I'm always looking for new opportunities to learn, my favorite subjects being history, religion, and science. I'm a dog person, but enjoy visiting other people's cats as long as they don't follow me home. I find joy in the everyday, in the wonders of the world around me, and would like to find someone who also enjoys the simple things. I was baptized Episcopalian but was received into the Church during my first year of college. I'm long past the point of ever going back. There's only one Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, and that's the one I'm a member of now. I live in Killeen but attend the Sunday afternoon TLM at St. Mary's Cathedral in Austin (which is a gorgeous space). In my heart though, my spiritual home is still Mater Dei, the FSSP parish in Dallas. Oh, and about the piercing thing. When I was a child, I had my ears pierced, but one got infected, so the holes were allowed to close up and I've never had them re-pierced. The story really is that boring.

I would appreciate anyone not living in the Austin area to not contact me, please. I am not interested in long distance, thank you. :) I can honeslty say I have lived a fun, adventureous, happy life. I grew in a large family. My 5 siblings drive me nuts, but they are also my best friends. I left home & went to school in Fort Lauderdale Flordia, got a degree and a tan, then decided to move to California to be a movie star.................................................. :p I packed my bags & my boy Yogi (my Corgi) & he and I drove across the country to L.A. and started living the dream. I was in Cali for nearly a decade. My dog actually did become a youtube sensation, I just became jealous, hehe. I did some fun work over there, but had a deadline. I moved to Austin a little over 2 years ago. I started school AGAIN last Spring so I can get a career in the nursing field, currently in classes :p Amongst all my moving through life, I have sailed the seas, hiked many mountains, snowboarded the alps, built homes for the homeless, been awakened by a lions roar next to my tent in the middle of the night, almost died on a banana boat (lol!) in Mexico, got chased out of a castle by Irish ghost! Drank wine and danced at "discos" in Italy, shook hands with stars and made a million friends! I am now so ready to find that one friend to love and continue my adventures with.

Core values, life structure, and kindness are important to me. I was born and raised in Venezuela and have lived in Texas since 1995. Previous to moving to Texas, I lived in Switzerland. I studied Languages & Music there. I am fluent in French, Spanish, and English. I have a wonderful family and had the best upbringing in the world. My dad was a very caring man, a state judge and CEO of one of the most important newspapers in the country. Mom and dad also ran our family ranch on the side and that allowed for an upbringing filled with scholarly events balanced by time alone with nature. A life rich with family values, happiness, respect and never taking anything for granted. I am looking forward to giving my children the same with that special someone that might share similar values and feel like we can look in the same direction. I may not be here often due to travel. Most recently I visited India and Nepal to trek the Himalayas. During Christmas I take some time off to go spend it with my family. I usually leave around Dec 15th and come back to Austin at beg of March. Traveling has been such an educational and inspiring experience and I am looking forward to finding someone special to share more of these experiences with. Here in Austin, I practice yoga and meditate daily and I also go cycling on weekends to enjoy those Texas rural roads with cornfield views. I also like to read and am actively sharpening my skills by attending workshops, lectures that help me be a better professional and a better world citizen. To keep my French from rusting, I also attend a weekly conversational meetup with the Austin French club. Even though my current lifestyle may seem very disciplined, you will find that I am a very calm and cool person. I don't relate to type A people and I don't expect that people need be on the go all the time. I would like to find someone that is not afraid to pursue dreams, someone not afraid to travel to remote corners of the world, someone that is not afraid of founding a family and someone that is willing to work at building a relationship that will last. To realize that if we dream and work together as a team, we will finish with success and conquer any obstacle that life may throw on the road to happiness. If you like what you read, don't be afraid to drop me a note. Maria
