53, Rockwall, TXI am a cradle Traditional Catholic, and greatly prefer the Latin Tridentine Mass. I try to learn from the challenges in my life, as well as try to see the blessings that God generously bestows on me every day (and be thankful for both the challenges and the blessings!!). I have recently moved back to the Dallas area after 3 years in New York. I have worked in computer software development for the past 11 years, and I must confess that I am a bit of a workaholic (but I am trying to improve on that!). In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, spending time with friends and family, gardening, eating out at restaurants, and hiking. I consider myself to be honest, hard-working, dedicated, responsible, intelligent, trusting, independent, conservative, kind, low-maintenance, affectionate, attentive, supportive, reasonably attractive, and have a good sense of humor. Gosh, that list sounds conceited (and I am not)... I could balance it by listing my faults here, but I won't... :)
50, Irving, TXI love being Catholic and living out my Catholic Christian faith is extremely important to me. I daily want to seek God's will for my life. I am the oldest of ten children, five girls and five boys! I am very family oriented and LOVE being part of a big family! I am especially close to my mom and my four sisters and enjoy spending time with them. I am an avid runner and have completed my fifteen marathons. I recently started hiking, and I really love it. I am very involved in the school where I teach and enjoy staying active. I love pretty much anything outdoors.
44, Dallas, TXI feel blessed to be an old fashioned, conservative, feminine Catholic woman who is seeking my modern day St Joseph. I feel peaceful serenity from my belief that sacramental marriage between husband and wife is a covenant founded upon faith and love of God. Most of all I feel content by trusting in God's will and plan for my life. My goal is to raise a devout Catholic family to serve and love God above all else. I have enjoyed great academic and professional successes yet I know that these will pale in comparison to the sacrament of marriage, the birth of more children and hopefully spending eternity in heaven. I enjoy the simple pleasures of everyday life, and long to share all of these with my future husband along with the prayers, works, joys and sufferings of each day. My 11 year old son is one of the greatest joys of my life! Before he was born I chose the name Teddy which means gift of God. Together we enjoy innumerable simple childhood adventures: constructing complex Legos, learning to play golf, riding bikes, attending picnic concerts in the park as well as symphonies and plays, grilling and boiling crawfish in the backyard, traveling to New Orleans, learning Latin in the context of classical education homeschooling, dining in dark jazzy restaurants, floating down a lazy river, cheering at Medieval Times tournaments, cheering on Jordan Spieth and so many more. We have been immensely blessed for which I feel eternally grateful. My personality is a bit complex, with a mixture of seriousness and introspection, coupled with a fun loving sincerity and playfulness. I can get lost for hours in a good book, or heated political debate, especially when sipping a glass of wine. I am a perpetual student, currently studying herbal/holistic medicine to complement my training in traditional medicine, as well as the true history of America (the one I never learned in PC schools). I have always been a city girl yet find myself longing for a simpler way of life and perhaps envision a small out of the way country homestead/farm one day. The outdoors simply sings to my soul, more with each passing day...the colors, details and scents of nature are divinely majestic! I love to squint my eyes while looking at cascading water droplets prismed into glittering gems by brilliant rays of sun. Simple pleasures abound, and despite a very busy life, I have learned to stop and enjoy the "roses" surrounding us everywhere.
28, Dallas, TXI want every day to be a wild adventure. I find that I have a very restless heart, but I think we all do if we get to the root of our desires. "The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for." (CCC 27). I am passionate about truth and beauty, discovering new cultures, feeding my soul, and being filled with wonder. I am an extroverted introvert, an athlete, a world traveler, book lover, and beer/wine connoisseur. I believe in staying active, eating healthy, and loving passionately. I am both sarcastic and sincere. I deeply cherish my relationships with friends and family and have a great love of music. I play guitar, write both deep and goofy songs, and lead the occasional praise and worship session. I am striving for sainthood each and every day as I fail miserably in emulating the Blessed Mother and I am a champion for bringing back authentic femininity. We all desire to be known and loved, so that is why I am here, just trying to open myself to the will of God and all of the incredible plans He has for me and my life. Maybe you are supposed to be a part of it
34, Pottsboro, TXI'm a little bit of a tomboy, but not too much :-) I like being active and doing stuff, though I also enjoy a good book. And, though I'm a klutz at most things, I still have fun doing them (i.e.. kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, wake-boarding, skiing, surfing, and sailing)! I teach outdoor education, so I spend a lot of time outside, and love it. I also have a few animals that I enjoy spending time with. I like good food and have the cooking skills to back it up. I am very laid back, love to travel, and always try to do the best that I can! That's me in a nutshell!
66, Dallas, TXI am passionate about life and the opportunities and blessings it holds. I love my family and my work. I have to say that in addition to my mother, my Catholic grade school teachers- lay teachers and nuns- were the most influential people in my life. I am also currently inspired by several of my friends that truly embody Christian witness in every day life. Msgr. Thomas Weinzapfel, pastor of St. Pius for 40 years, was also a good friend and constant inspiration. For leisure time, I enjoy traveling, visiting new places, reading, music and socializing with friends.
51, Greenville, TXI am an animal lover (cats, dogs, you name it - except snakes!). I enjoy sports - I love college football (especially Texas A&M), tennis, bicycling, and just being outdoors. I like to read mystery novels, history, and biographies. I enjoy all kinds of music - pop, rock, country, classical (don't like rap). I enjoy learning about other cultures, especially through their food! I am always open to trying new cuisines.
24, Dallas, TXI'm a pretty upbeat day-dreamer who loves to laugh, drink coffee, and make the most out of every day God blesses me with. I am the youngest of six children and I absolutely love my hilarious and wonderfully caring family. I'm an Army Brat. As such, we traveled very much and the family unit became extremely important to me. I am very passionate about acting, film-making (and film-editing!), writing fiction (etc), and photography. I am striving to follow where God wants me, and enjoy the present and all life hands me.
27, Dallas, TXYou cannot be half a saint; you must be a whole saint or no saint at all. -St. Therese of Lisieux I'm a cradle Catholic who, after years of dabbling with being "half a saint," had a beautiful reversion in college and spent two years finally learning about the faith I'd been baptized into. I've never looked back! Since then I have consecrated myself to Our Lady, fallen in love with the rosary, and made the firm commitment to becoming (with God's grace!) a "whole saint" (thanks, St. Therese!). I love the Latin mass, curling up with a good book, and cooking (usually pretty successfully, but ask me about the time I accidentally made blue chicken for a 10-person dinner party!).
29, Corsicana, TXI'm a Texas girl, born and raised, although I went to college in Massachusetts. I enjoy cooking and good books, as well as spending time with friends and family. I attend the traditional Latin mass on Sundays, First Fridays, and whenever else I can make it to mass. I tend to be reserved at first, but once I open up people are amazed they ever thought I was quiet. I'm always looking for new opportunities to learn, my favorite subjects being history and theology with . I'm a dog person, but enjoy visiting other people's cats as long as they don't follow me home. I find joy in the everyday, in the wonders of the world around me, and would like to find someone who also enjoys the beauty of simple pleasures. If given the chance between an interstate and a winding road, I'll take the back road almost every time. I enjoy visiting museums and other cultural spaces, as well as discovering good food, whether it's in my kitchen or at local restaurant. I'm not much of a sports person, but I do enjoy baseball and the odd football game. I was baptized Episcopalian but was received into the Church during my first year of college. I'm long past the point of ever going back. There's only one Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, and that's the one I'm a member of now. Luckily, my Protestant (mostly Methodist and Church of Christ) family has accepted this without much issue, although an aunt did try to tell me I should convert to Eastern Orthodoxy because it worked for her son-in-law's sister (so ridiculous, I'm still laughing about it over ten years later). Oh, and about the piercing thing. When I was a child, I had my ears pierced, but one got infected, so the holes were allowed to close up and I've never had them re-pierced. The story really is that boring, but I wasn't going to lie by omission either.
24, Dallas, TXHi! I'm Emma. I love to laugh and am very playful, although I am also a total introvert. I am all for the pro-life movement. I am a sophomore at the University of Dallas, majoring in politics. I love dogs and children. I love the show Impractical Jokers too. The Latin Mass is special to me. I was actually a novice with the Carmelites for almost 2 years. I am growing my hair out from that experience! I like it short-I love fashion-but I am definitely a long haired girl at heart. I appreciated my time with the Carmelites so much, but I definitely decided that is NOT my vocation! I love my Catholic faith-I converted in 2009 with my immediate family. Don't be fooled though, into thinking that I am a "holier than thou" type. I am a big believer in Chesterton's "Wherever the Catholic sun doth shine, there's always laughter and good red wine!" I am affectionate and devoted to those I'm close to. I'm an INTJ type. :)
