I am heading into my 8th year of teaching and I still love my job. For me, it is what God has called me to do right now for my work vocation. I own my house (or, paying a mortgage), which still sometimes feels very surreal. I'm incredibly blessed in so many things, from my family and friends, to owning a house, to loving what I do every day. I also now have two dogs, whom I love very much, named Gandalf and Pippin. I went to the University of Dallas and have my BA in History, a minor in Medieval and Renaissance studies and my teaching certification. Teaching is my work vocation at the moment (it could change!) and God shows Himself to me in the students every day - and in challenging them to think - they challenge me right back. I also lead a young adult group at my church - we meet for a potluck dinner and book discussion once a week. I love to read and learn. I like to daydream and to take photos, both mental and real. I'd rather have more time than money. I love to cook and bake, and have an odd enjoyment of cleaning/organizing other peoples stuff. I lector, sing in the St. Cecilia Choir at my church, and volunteer when I can. I enjoy watching sports and love to watch movies, playing board games and card games, and I love a good discussion. I love being with my friends and with my family- my family is pretty up there! I also have a list of 5 important things: 1) God - I believe fully in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Three in One, and I wouldn't be who I am today without Him. 2) Love (platonic or otherwise) - Love is God, God is love, and from Him all forms of love, from love of a family to love of a friend. 3) Family - My family is one of the most important parts of my life. My mother and father, my grandparents, my aunts and uncles and cousins, my brother have always been there for me. They are incredibly important to me and shaped who I am. I try to talk to my parents once every week. 4) Friends - My friends (both current and past, because things do change) have helped form who I am. I value my close friendships highly. 5) Books - I love to read. I have also realized that I love reading old National Geographics. Plus, I love to keep learning!

I'm incredibly close to my family and I love to laugh and have a good time. I try to make the most out of each day, because you never know if it's your last. I absolutely love the Texas Rangers and watch/listen to every game of the season and pretty knowledgeable about sports in general.

I love life and I love Jesus. My faith and my relationship with Jesus is the most important thing to me and what guides my life. I constantly am exploring new places, trying new things and meeting new people. I love variety and am very outgoing and extroverted so this gives me my energy. I love the outdoors, most sports, growing in my faith, music, seeing friends, and reading. I love being of service to others whether it is volunteering with youth, the homeless, soup kitchens, building something, or trying something new. When you give of yourself, God gives you just as much as you give to others. I don't take myself too seriously and I love people, my friends and my family with all of my being. I love to be around genuine people, whether their life is broken or beautiful, and to see Christ through them. If you want to get to know me more, please message me :) I love good conversation. "Until I realize that it cost someone something to love me, I then will never realize how much they really love me" Fr. Mike Schmitz

I am a recent college graduate enjoying the small things in life. I like intimate gatherings where I am able to develop meaningful relationships. In my free time, I like to spend time with my siblings, sister-in-law, friends, and watch YouTube. I also enjoy creating art. My artwork varies from small drawings using pencil to larger printmaking pieces.

I laugh I love I hope I try I hurt I need I fear I cry. I'm a typical average girl living my life a day at a time, very easy girl that enjoys simple things in life. I'm bubbly and like to laugh. I enjoy a quiet night out. Love exploring new things. I enjoy sometimes a quiet night of relaxing and other times a loud night at concerts. I'm very close to my faith spiritually, family come first.

As NKOTB so famously and simply put, I got the "write" or shall I say, right stuff. Don't believe me? Just watch... Even though Dallas isn't my hometown (moved here 5 years ago - from San Antonio), I have remained close to my large family (second of five) and make time to visit and see them often. I recognize my position here as a transplant, and definitely have no desire in cheering for the Mavericks. (Do 5 rings mean anything to you? ;)) My friends would describe as quick-witted, entirely too observant and competitive. I continually work to improve both my domestic and professional resumes - never shying away from a challenge. I am a writer and editor by day, and Chef Boyardee by night (not quite Paula Deen status yet). On a more serious note... I learned early on, if you ever wanted to make God laugh - you plan. I could sit here and write a long list of things I am looking for and think should be in my ideal mate, but as I get older the more I realize it boils down to one thing. Do you make each other better people? Of course the core list of items would never change - a man of faith, integrity and conviction - but in the end you should never stop growing. Every time I think I know what my life is supposed to be, God has always ended up surprising me ten times over. I write this with great confidence in knowing that His next surprise is just around the corner, and I definitely can't wait to meet him.

I'm really passionate about baking, I love doing it, it brings me much joy. I am planning to go to culinary school soon to study what I love. I am also very passionate about music, I am currently involved with the music ministry at my parish and sing with the church choir! God has always been a part of my life, he has been my biggest influence always guiding and helping me and reminding me to always stay humble and loving. The Catholic Church also has influenced me, to stay strong to remain faithful in God, and no matter what I'm suffering to always trust in the church and God. My mother and father have alway been so strong even in unstable times in my life and I've always admired them for that. In my leisure time I enjoy reading and spending time with friends, I can be a bit lazy at times and I try not to be!

You cannot be half a saint; you must be a whole saint or no saint at all. -St. Therese of Lisieux I'm a cradle Catholic who, after years of dabbling with being "half a saint," had a beautiful reversion in college and spent two years finally learning about the faith I'd been baptized into. I've never looked back! Since then I have consecrated myself to Our Lady, fallen in love with the rosary, and made the firm commitment to becoming (with God's grace!) a "whole saint" (thanks, St. Therese!). I love the Latin mass, curling up with a good book, and cooking (usually pretty successfully, but ask me about the time I accidentally made blue chicken for a 10-person dinner party!).

Ciao! My name is Maria! I'm a happy person with a sense of humor and a love for life. I seek God's will in my life. I seek to know Him and serve Him through my day to day experiences. It is always an adventure! I want to continue growing in faith. I take pleasure in nature walks and reading. I'm an active member of the parish I attend. I am a defender of life! And... I'm truly blessed to have a great family. I am number 6 of 8! The most real example of parents!

I'm easy going and laid back most of the time ; however I do have a bit of a stubborn streak and a witty sense of humor so I'm told. I was raised most of my life in the country, so I am a little bit of a tomboy and i enjoy watching and playing sports and being outdoors fishing, camping, etc. This being said I do like to dress up every once in a while and embrace my girlie side. I'm currently a nurse in the neurovascular ICU, but I hope to be working in Labor and delivery or in pediatric areas in the near future. I'm very involved with the choir, youth group, and other activities at my church. I enjoy hanging out with friends and family whenever I'm not working. I love to travel and I'm hoping to do more traveling in the future. My life hasn't always been an easy one; however, with God and my family in my corner I can do anything.

I have a 3 year old little girl who is my world, obviously. I'd be willing to love others kids and eventually would love to have more. Make me laugh and you'll probably steal my heart. I have a very unique life story; God's helped me through more than I thought I could handle.
