"Our Lord Jesus Christ is God, and we shall have life in His name!" -- St. Genesius
Christ comes first. At the end of the day, I'm a sinner just like you and I certainly don't live that commitment in every moment. But, by the grace of God, I do make an effort. My ultimate goal in life is to see God's face when I die, and take as many people with me as I can!
On a more practical level of what you'd probably like to know while reading this short introduction, I'm an introvert, an autodidact, an educator, and a traditional Catholic. At the end of the day I need a few minutes to breathe and be quiet, though I often will process ideas and emotions out loud after that. I've yet to come across something I can't teach myself (this includes things as diverse as physics & calculus and how to upcycle furniture with chalk paint) if I have the interest and the right reading material. Reading is one of my favorite pastimes, but one I don't practice enough during the school year. I don't enjoy movies much, though, as I'd rather be doing things than watching others do them. My full time job is teaching at a Catholic high school, and I love my subjects (chemistry, AP biology, and microbiology) and my kids, though I could do with less grading in my life. I'm a skirt-wearing, traditional-Latin-mass-attending, all-tenets-of-the-Church-accepting girl not so much because I chose Him, but because He chose me. (I have a funny story to tell you sometime about how all that got started.) God continues to lead me into a deeper understanding of the truths He has revealed, and I am thankful for the journey.
