I am a mother of 3 amazing adult children. I am looking for a friend to start then see where that leads. I am terrified to start this whole dating journey but I want to share my life with someone. Family is very important to me I want to meet someone with the same values. I love to go out, but staying home watching a movie or just hanging out is fine with me.I do enjoy sports whether watching on tv or going to a game. Football is my favorite. I am a Cowboy's and Bears fan, now don't hate me because of my teams. Football season is my favorite time of year love the fall. I look forward meeting that special someone. My children are all grown so I am ready to live my life, I want to travel and just be able to be spontaneous.

I am a down to earth woman who has a passion for my faith and spending time with those I love. My faith is a top priority in my life, so some of my free time is spent in the church. I also love runnning (recently tried trail running and loved it), reading, and cooking.

I love to read, travel, laugh when things seem to not go well and accept that life has something more to offer, in short, i am a romantic optimist. I love to be with friends and family. I am an introvert as well as an extrovert. I love to work with kids. I am so into home improvements, that when I go to a department store I usually go and check it out. Oh well, every girl loves shopping and that does not exempt me. You have got to know the real me........

To have a lasting relationship, it must be based on honesty, respect and loyalty. I am a warm, loving, compassionate person and have experienced the normal ups and downs of life. I have learned it is better to be happy instead of 'right.' I have been alone for 7 years and find that I don't need someone for my life to be complete, but it would be wonderful to have a special person to share the good and inevitable bad that life brings. I love to dance, listen to music, have conversation, walks, short trips, gardening, cooking, visiting with friends and family. My greatest accomplishment was in rearing my children. I have a married son and two beautiful granddaughters in Frisco. My daughter lives in California with her husband and another beautiful granddaughter. Both families are very successful professionally. They have loving, caring families and are loved and respected by all who know them. I have two rescue dogs and a 13 year old rescued cat. Yes, I love animals. They do not judge and provide so much love. Thanks for stopping by -- I wish you the best in finding that special person who will bring more joy to your life.

Its very hard to really to make a profile about yourself. I see so many that are far reaching and concerned with scammers and not sincere. It makes me wonder if they are true or if anyone can fit their aspirations of grandeur. My passions are: My Faith, My family, Great Friends, Reading, and Traveling. There have been many people that have influenced my life. My Dad who I miss terribly. He always believed in me and taught me how to persevere and to work hard. But sometimes I told him I wasn't as strong as he thought. We both enjoyed horses and I have great memories going to horse sales with him. My twin sister has always been a special part of me. I have to love her dearly as she knows too much about me! I still work and I enjoy it. I m a people person and I love get togethers with my family and friends. Most love a glass of wine (makes me tired ) so a good scotch and water for me.. I love history and traveling to small town festivals , places I have never seen, get together with friends, musicals and plays, dancing, coffee and conversation, playing cards, and holding hands (big or small ones)

I am a graduate student at the University of North Texas studying Taxation. I will graduate in May 2017 and plan to become a CPA after that. I am actually 23, I don't know why it says 22 lol. I love animals, being outdoors, watching Netflix, good wine and good food!

Keep it real. The greatest thing in the world is a good meal, good friends, and laughter. Laughter is the best medicine. Keeps all toxins away and brings humans closer.

I was born and raised in a small town in northeastern Wisconsin and am the 3rd child out of five. My father was an only child and my mother was the 4th oldest of 18. This is not a typo. I have a very large extended family, as you can imagine. After living in many different places over the years, I am now living in Texas because my younger son is here. I have 2 sons..the oldest is in Nebraska. I've been alone (single) since 2004 and have not enjoyed a serious relationship since. I needed healing, and I just never seriously put myself out there to really find someone to hopefully, spend the rest of my life. I did joi twice over the years but never made a connection, in that regard. I think what I really wanted at that time was male companionship and the men were looking for either a good time or a committed relationship. Although, my first "date" on match.com did result in making a new best friend, just not a "match." So, what led me to Catholicmatch.com? My mother passed away this past August at age 95, Her funeral, in the same church in which we were raised, did something for me. It felt like home, participating in the mass even though I could not take communion. (I really miss not being able to take communion and will have to look into rectifying this.) Upon my return to Texas, I started going to church every week and even joined one of the ladies groups, too. I missed having my church family and am now trying to build relationships there. Soooo, here I am, hoping to find a good man, a Catholic man, who would understand what growing up Catholic means. I am ready for a committed relationship that would hopefully, lead to marriage. If that doesn't happen, that's OK, too. I believe in friendship, first. I have a great sense of humor, am interested in reading, cooking, the outdoors and enjoying my time with my son and his family. I still work fulltime and realize that could be a problem for some, but I need to eat and support 2 dogs!

Life is great! I love to travel, cook, read, go to concerts, basically everything. I have three dogs that I love very much. I'm well rounded. My iPod has literally EVERYTHING on it. I have a very flexible work schedule, although I work a lot. Sometimes I wake up, pack a bag and go on a road trip with no prior thought of doing so. Other times, I lay around like there is no world outside my house. You just never know! I am also a devout Catholic and attend Mass regularly.
