25, Houston, TXI work as a software engineer in the Houston area. I love coding and feel blessed to have found such a great job. I enjoy hanging out in coffee shops or wine bars, whether its chatting with friends, coding, or just reading. I have the terrible habit of starting multiple books so currently I am in the middle of about 4 books. We'll see which one wins. I also love running and being sarcastic...so I apologize in advance:P
28, Lubbock, TXHello... I'm a bit on the shy side, an introvert, but when you get to know me I'm kind of a nerd. I was a flute player in college and now I teach music at a Catholic school. I have been teaching for 4 years now and I wouldn't switch to public school for anything! I absolutely love being in such a faith-based environment and working with such good kids. I get to celebrate mass with my students on a regular basis and even guide them in how to praise Him with their voices. But, I have always felt in my heart that my place in life is as a mother and a homemaker. My family is a big part of my life; I am the youngest of 5 kids and I have several nephews and a niece and I love to be involved in their lives and present as an aunt. So, my family is very important to me and I hope to have a large family of my own someday. I love movies and I love books even more. I like to bake, but I'm not very good at cooking. That has a lot to do with my personality. Baking is very straight forward, you follow the instructions and it all works. Cooking requires improvisation and creativity. I'm creative, but I'm not real big on improvising. When it comes to the Catholic faith, I am a traditionalist. I'm not a fan of modern music in the mass, especially the youth band stuff and the popular "me"-centered music. Mass isn't about us. Any questions, ask me! I'm very open and free with my words online. I'd love to be that way in person, too, but it takes me awhile. :)
18, Katy, TXAlthough I am a child of the Novus Ordo, I prefer the solemnity of the Tridentine Mass. Apart from God and my religion, there is nothing I love more than my family, music, and cultural awareness. I love traveling, exploring, and getting my fill of adrenaline. FYI: If you are a fan of the Renaissance Festival, you are on the right track ;) Some people may see this and say, "She's 18, she's too young to know what she wants," but I say to you: Please get to know me before you pass judgement because I bet you would be surprised at what an eighteen year old can share with you. :)
27, Dallas, TXYou cannot be half a saint; you must be a whole saint or no saint at all. -St. Therese of Lisieux I'm a cradle Catholic who, after years of dabbling with being "half a saint," had a beautiful reversion in college and spent two years finally learning about the faith I'd been baptized into. I've never looked back! Since then I have consecrated myself to Our Lady, fallen in love with the rosary, and made the firm commitment to becoming (with God's grace!) a "whole saint" (thanks, St. Therese!). I love the Latin mass, curling up with a good book, and cooking (usually pretty successfully, but ask me about the time I accidentally made blue chicken for a 10-person dinner party!).
25, San Antonio, TXHi! 46, Houston, TXMost days of the week you could find me working surrounded by children. I prefer to be more spontaneous than a planner. I am a loyal friend who loves to listen and enjoysee the wonderful things that GOD has blessed me with. I live with intensity and purpose. Open minded and open to new adventure and experiences.I love lazy days on the couch cuddling and just being together.
52, Katy, TXMy Catholic faith is what keeps me going on a daily basis - without it, I do not know where I would be at this time in my life. God has many plans for all of us; and each of us is given a finite time to accomplish what He has for us. None of us is guaranteed the "tomorrow" just the "right now" .....make sure you spend your time wisely.
