A fan of football and musical theater, action and some chick flicks, running and singing, talking theology and talking nonsense. But most of all, I'm a fan of finding someone to help me along the Way, to help me always seek the Truth, and to bring our lives more in line with the Life. Are you the one? I am in my final year of my PhD in School Psychology and am completing my predoctoral internship in Austin (read: after I am done with this year of clinical work and I defend my dissertation, the PhD is mine). Dallas is home, and I go back regularly to see family and friends. I received my Masters of Education through the University of Notre Dame while teaching high school in Austin, TX from 2010 - 2012. If you're confused as to how that possibly could've worked, shoot me a message. I'll be happy to explain! I speak, read, and write Spanish fluently and really want to speak Spanish to my kiddos- my Mom passing on her native language to my brothers and me is one of the best things she could have ever done for us. I've discovered I love traveling, big cities, exploring, and trying new things. Yet at the same time, I'm a homebody who likes my routine. I live for football season and absolutely love sports, both playing and watching. I enjoy singing, reading, the arts, and more than anything, laughing, in my spare time. I went to college in New Orleans and left a piece of my heart there. In my opinion, it's the best city in the United States. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to debate that fact ;)

This is always the part that is most about yourself and do it in a way that will capture the kind of person you are looking pressure!;) So here it goes I was born and raised in Austin and love it here. My parents are from Western Pennsylvania and most of my extended family, whom I adore, still live there so I try to get there as often as I can! I grew up in a strong Italian Catholic family and have always found comfort in the church in both challenging and happy times. I am very blessed to have been raised the way I was and love my friends and family who have helped me become who I am today. Fast forward a bit - I am now an elementary teacher and love it! Some of the best things I have learned in life and about myself have come from me working with kids. I try my hardest to be the best teacher I can be and give the love of learning to the kids. I am also involved with a few committees at my school, which keeps me busy (one of the reasons I am on this site), but allow me to do other things and meet new people. I try my best at everything I do and give it my all. I try to be present in the moment and not take life too seriously. I usually can find humor in almost anything - it might just take a few minutes depending on the situation. I am a perfect picture of imperfection - I own this and work on it every day! Anything you want to know just ask me! :)

I'm outgoing, cheerful & optimistic at heart. I'm mature but playful, thoughtful and considerate. I find happiness in the small things in life. I love the beach and enjoy traveling. My family is at the heart of my life and I feel blessed to be so close to them. I value my friends as much as my family; I think it's important to balance time with both.
  • Tanya, 25 from Tomball, TX

There are three things that are very important to me: God, people (family and friends) and music. My faith is a huge part of who I am and has played such a crucial role in my life. I am a people person and love being around others. I love spending quality time with friends and family In addition, I am such music lover. I spend most of my time and money on concerts and music. If you have any other questions, feel free to message me and ask :)

  • Emily, 28 from Austin, TX
    28, Austin, TX
Hi, I'm Emily and of all the things I'm passionate about, God and his Church certainly rank at the top, along with family and friends. I also enjoy people -- talking to people and simply spending time with others. I have a youthful spirit, but I also love having meaningful conversations.
  • Cindy, 33 from Sugar Land, TX
    33, Sugar Land, TX
I'm honest, simple, humble, direct, and true to myself. I'm passionate about music and looking forward to a conversation over a cup of coffee. Sometimes I can be spontaneous for trivial things, but mostly I'm well prepared for big matters. I'm always punctual, by the way :) I love reading and swimming. How about you?[?]
  • Ann, 32 from Fort Worth, TX
    32, Fort Worth, TX
I'm a former military kid who still loves to travel. I appreciate how travel expands your worldview. I always meet the most amazing people, whether I'm at the farmer's market or a thousand miles from home. I love to laugh! (Like Uncle Albert in Mary Poppins.) I have never regretted anything that has put a smile on my face. I'm just striving to live a healthy and chaste life. But, who has time to exercise when you're busy hiking/running/walking/playing with your pup or dancing? Well, more accurately running after my pup and I enjoy dancing with him as well. He has the moves of a muppet. Perhaps, the better question is why exercise when you're already living an active life? I'm the oldest of four and called to be a role model of femininity. Speaking of my siblings, they love to laugh too! It must run in the family. We love laughing, singing, talking, playing, and just overall hanging out with one another. Tobit 3:14 A very wise and Catholic woman once told me, "Carpe diem cum Deo!". And now, I say the same to you, "Carpe diem cum Deo!"
  • Erin, 20 from Farmersville, TX
    20, Farmersville, TX
I am passionate about music, writing, serving others, and spending time with my family. I grew up on a farm, and do not shy away from "gross" things, and hopefully I will be able to pursue a life in health care. I am a musician, I play the piano (taught myself at a young age), and guitar, and I sing. I love writing stories, mostly fiction, poems, songs, really anything. I still live with my family because there really is no place like home. I think the most influential experience would be doing volunteer in Lourdes, France. I have been there five times, and have volunteered each time. Even though it is a small city, it has a powerful message and a great impact on my life and how I view others, how I help others. The most influential person would be my mom, but don't tell her that, she might start crying. ;) In my free time, I am a big nerd-- I love watching Sci/Fi TV shows, sometimes play video games, or read lots and lots of books. But I do play a lot of music, so I'm pretty much singing at any given moment. I also like to just have small bonfires with my family, just to hang out and talk about our days.
  • Carla, 34 from Rowlett, TX
    34, Rowlett, TX
If I had to pick 4 words to describe me, they would be loyal, introverted, caring, and ambitious. I say loyal because I have a few very close friends who, along with my family, mean the world to me and I will stick by them and defend them always. Although, as an introvert, I am quiet at first, I will start to open up to those I feel comfortable with and let them see my true personality. I am very laid back, I love good conversation, I enjoy fun activities especially being out in nature. I am caring because I often think of my family and friends first and enjoy doing things that will bring a smile to their face. I often give people the benefit of the doubt. I have been a writer since I was 14 years old. Reading and writing are my 2 biggest passions. I am ambitious in my goal to become a published author. I often find myself daydreaming and planning out stories to work on, researching information for a book, or just reading so that I can learn to become a better writer. I am a fairly open book, any questions? Just ask! :)

I am a very warm and kind hearted woman, outgoing and sometimes goofy, very positive - looks for a reason to smile in every situation and almost always find one. Faith and Family has shaped my entire life and represents some of the strongest values I hold dear. I love to sit back and relax when I am not working. I enjoy nature, traveling, a good read and charity work.
