So which one of you out there is my soul mate? I sometimes see things black and white. I'm very tactile. I am also very sensitive, and very honest. I'm a romantic too. I'm half English and half Spanish. I suffer from epilepsy and got it at 13. I studied Drama and English at University but my epilepsy suddenly got worse in my 3rd yr so I got a Diploma instead. With my epilepsy this bad I don't have a job. Without a job I'm rather stuck at home with my parents. I do some voluntary work instead. I had a religious conversion when I was 20. I was agnostic but I was brought up a Catholic and my Mum forced me to go to Church until I was 16. I was naughtily messing around when a friend invited me to a healing weekend at the Cor et Lumen Christi Community. I went, hoping to be healed of my epilepsy, instead I was touched by the Holy Spirit and so my life radically changed. I became a member of that Community. I eventually left. I'm a part of the International Catholic Charismatic Renewal so I'm a Charismatic Catholic. I love singing. I don't particularly like traditional Christian music, doesn't mean I won't sing the Pie Jesu or Panis Angelicus perhaps if my nephew wants to play it on the piano. I play the piano and the guitar myself a little. I do like Charismatic music and gospel music. I sang in a Gospel Choir nearby for some years, until it closed. I have two African sponsor children. I studied 'Theology' for about two years at Maryvale but, because of a particular incident, I got chronic fatigue syndrome and could no longer study. I was a Confirmation teacher for some years. I fight for justice now so I'm a kinda small non-violent human rights activist. I'm a history lover. I'm a 'book worm'. I don't think you can learn that, you're born it. l love creation and I'm into photography, particularly nature photography. I also watch a lot of films. I do of course pray every day, and I love God. I'm NOT a Conservative, I'm a liberal which makes me different from a lot of Catholics. ( I did the Temperant test and mine says that I am not spiritually attentive. That's rubbish. There's nothing more important to me in my life than my faith and my prayer life. Telling me I'm not spiritually attentive is an insult. The questions in that test had nothing to do with faith. )

I love the outdoors; dog walking, jogging, hiking with family and friends. The peace of Scottish lochs and forests.......Usual socialising - good coffee plus bookshop a favourite. Enjoy decent conversations about life (hate shopping) daily meditation and poetry.

I have been told more than once that I'm full of contradictions. I have tried to always take it as a compliment though I'm sure it was not always meant this way. I am strong though very vulnerable at times. I'm serious about some things but can be goofy and act very silly. There is nothing better than a good belly laugh! I have made mistakes in the past and I'm trying to learn from them as best as I can. I'm not perfect and I won't be in this life but I'm trying to be a better person. I struggle with things and I pray God takes control over these struggles. I have plenty to give but I expect a lot from myself and from others. One more thing-how I got these results on the temperament test is beyond me. Go figure!

I'm a kind caring person who always put others first. I'm deeply in love with my faith that I find it extremely difficult to marry a non Catholic. During my free time, I watch television, read books and visit my parents.

I like nature, God, fine art, innocence and sweetness. I like gentle forms of exercise. I believe that what you do unto others comes back to you. I try to use products that are kind to the environment and that are not tested on animals. I like to eat out in pleasant places occasionally. I think I know what is right and wrong. I wont use people who are designed for holy lives for money purposes .I believe there is a reason that God created us the way we are and that we are precious to him in that form. I like biblical teachings. I work in health care administration and have interests in naturally healing the body and mind. I don't like satanic agendas.

The biggest influence in my life has been the love of my parents . I will always be grateful for every thing they did for me. After that comes my experience as a volunteer and my work initially as a nurse/ midwife and most recently as a lecturer. Through these experiences I have met so many lovely people and made some lifelong friends. I enjoy travelling, live music, singing and I can bake a good lemon drizzle cake !
