I am affectionate, sensitive, fun loving, understanding and sensual, reserved and shy, until you get to know me better. Please do not be offended if you do not get a written response as I am an unpaid member. Friends say I am a very warm, caring and loving person with a lot to offer. My ex-husband has since passed away. I am a 'giver' not a 'taker'. I am a good listener. I enjoy quiet evenings at home listening to most types of music/reading or going out for the night, or having an enjoyable time with family (both young and old) and friends. I love dancing, listening to music, walking, travelling, theatre, movies, cooking, reading. I am seeking someone who is prepared to take care of me as I will for him. I am seeking a gentleman who does not play mind games.

I love home life, the ordinary, being with people I know and love, mingling with the people I have come to know in my local Church. Love being with my boys when ever I can, which is not often as they are now grown up and live far away. I like being outdoors, walking, some travel, love being in the sun and by the sea. Leisure time, done up many houses, used to ski and sail, but don't do these any more. Would like to get out and about more, to do more culturally. Like music, theatre, cinema and eating out and visiting places of interest, enjoy having others to come and stay. My own family were naturally very influential. My father was a lovely man; from Dublin, an air traffic controller all his life, with a great respect for others and greatly respected by others, for his calm, quiet, solid and lovely ways and of course his fantastic sense of humour.I had great teachers, friends from both my school days and later in London. I am still friendly with them today, but as I live in the Midlands, out paths do not cross so often. I had one very special friend, who died some years ago. He was a wonderful spiritual mentor who had great faith. I was privileged to know him.He loved 'The Rosary'.

I have one daughter and we are very close, since my husband died my daughter and I have travelled extensively and have thoroughly enjoyed visiting interesting places and hearing about their customs and culture. Although I retired 5 years ago after working in Children's Services I quickly realised it was not for me at that time so I now work for two National Charities one of which takes me around the country meeting some amazing people.
