Hi there! I'm not good of talking about my self and I know it's a very lame introduction.Well, I love going to the park, sat under the shade of a tree, read a book or just enjoy people watching. At first I enjoyed it immensely then, it dawned on me that it is much better to be with someone whom you can share your thoughts with or just talk about anything. I know this line is familiar to you, ' it is not good for a man to be alone' and I'm so grateful to God that He made sure that I am not, I have a loving family and friends around. And what I am most grateful for is His desire for us to find someone, out of his vast creation of people, to be and share our life with. So here I am doing my part in fulfilling that desire. I'm sure you are too! Thanks for reading...:-)

I am gregarious, quirky, socially fluent and articulate with a great passion for literature and being (pleasantly) outspoken. Sparkling conversation, wit and words will always brighten any day. I'm a bit of a live wire at times: vivacious with an eye for the ridiculous; an innate curiosity to learn and a tendency to gravitate towards the wry, the witty and profound. I'm often found collapsed in a flurry of giggles and unstoppable laughter and although I can be a little illogical and absent-minded at times I am sweet, tender and utterly faithful to loved ones and when the occasion requires it, can also be quiet, deeply reflective, understanding and sensitive to the needs and concerns of others. Compassion is an essential part of my make-up and I am often drawn to those crushed and broken-hearted who are in need of some human gentleness, softness and understanding. I am a passionate follower of the Arts in all its myriad forms: the vivid and astonishingly emotional colours of the great artists of our time will continue to take my breath away; the intellectual contrapuntal lines of Bach will always amaze me with their complexity; Beethoven's rage, passion and triumphalism can always inspire; Maria Callas' Tosca as she scales the heights of Vise d'Arte, Vise d'Amoure will always find a shiver rippling down the small of my back. Coming from Wales, I also adore the songs of the river, the cries of the stone, the whites of the waterfalls and tumbling through the heather at the dimming of the day - but not on my own! And being an English teacher, poetry and literature are my passion and there's nothing I enjoy more than a challenging discussion about a text or critiquing a theatre performance once the curtain has fallen. I remain constantly in awe of the talent, the energy and the originality which young minds can possess and am more than happy to meet a guy with children and make it work. A commercial songwriter in my free time, I've become accustomed to the fight to overcome the rock face which is the record industry and have developed a resilience to the vaguaries of such an environment. I can be cheeky at times, but always respectful; outgoing but also dignified, outspoken but always tactfully aware of the other's point of view.

I love to travel, go out and actively participate in a weekly badminton sessions. I genuinely look forward to the weekends when I tend to go for long walks in the local parks or in central London, when I can revisit galleries, museums and even some random churches. I admire how in London you can squeeze a new building next to the older creation in a perfect harmony. Previously I travelled to Europe, Africa and USA. Ideally I would love to engage in further travels with my partner, go skiing one day, learn tennis or just have fun. I try to care about our environment we will leave behind for generations to come. It is however easier said than done, especially when there is amazon.co.uk. I have come to accept that I should welcome and give thanks for every day rather than to go looking on every possible dating website, in a club or in a bar for my partner in crime. I believe God chose a path for me and for you. Although we may cross paths, it does not mean we will share them. I am a proud mum of a 15 year old, who has established homes with her mum and dad. I am not sure if it is my age, the older sibling in me or being a mum that makes me believe in traditional values our parents and grandparents held dear, which are precious to me.

I'd probably describe myself as caring, faithful and a good listener, and I value my faith and my family and friends above everything else. I like spending my spare time at the beach, climbing hills or the occasional small mountain, trying new restaurants (I'm at my happiest sat in front of a large plate of seafood!), or just having a good chat over a nice home-cooked meal. I'm a bit quiet when I meet new people but I really value the people who take the time to get to know me, so send me a message if you think we might get along!

A young at heart divorced lady with 3 grown up children and a good circle of friends. I work full time as an administrator in Higher Education and run a small part time business in my spare time. I enjoy walking and yoga, going out and socialising, good food and travel. I'm an excellent cook and enjoy cooking and entertaining friends with my experimental and traditional dishes. I love to read but with a busy life I don't get enough time to sit with a good book but I try catch up with my reading whenever I can and always have several books on the go. I love theatre and all sorts of live music and the ballet. I have taken up golf recently and love to get out on the golf course with my friends and enjoy a pleasant couple of hours trying to improve my game. I'm really looking forward to being able to play more regularly once I'm retired. My friends would say I'm a good listener and a reliable friend with a wicked sense of humour. I have a positive and happy outlook on life and always see my glass half full and I'm grateful for all the blessings in my life. My political beliefs are centre left and I am a strong believer in remaining in the EU and working with our European neighbours for the common good.
