  • Michelle, 61 from San Antonio, TX
    61, San Antonio, TX
Hello, I'm Michelle. I love life...even when it has brought heartache, because out of that some good always comes. I truly believe that! I like to travel: not one of those people always complaining about airports or avoiding them. I like to meet new people. Sound like your kind of person? My faith has grown since my husband's death, and I feel very supported through the Church in my transition to a new life. However, I am not stuck in my old life; I live for today, in the moment (although it seems I'm always planning the next thing), with the goal of living forever with God after I leave this earthly body. I'm retired from government service, and making the most of it. I spend a lot of time volunteering, especially with the Boy Scouts of America. I am passionate about The Beginning Experience ministry, which helps separated, divorced, and widowed people deal with their losses. My faith is important to me, so I'm also involved in my parish choir, and teach religion one afternoon a week, in part because I know there is so much for me to learn, and I can do that through those small communities. More: I like the outdoors--love the smell of fresh air and I am a people person. I'm reasonably intelligent, interested in discussing and trying new things, so even if I haven't mentioned your passion, I might want to develop in an interest. And, I don't mind cigars, in case you smoke them! And, I'm pretty much bilingual: English and Spanish. Maybe we have some things in common. Let's find out!
  • Laura, 35 from Houston, TX
    35, Houston, TX
I am the most passionate about my faith- over the years I have started attending daily Mass and seeking for ways to deepen my relationship with God. I also love to help people and as such I find different ways to volunteer. I love spending time with friends, playing obscure board games. I can be shy in new situations, but very open with close friends.
  • Kate, 29 from Marshfield, WI
    29, Marshfield, WI
HELLO everyone!!! My name is Kate and I LOVE JESUS! I am 2nd youngest of 7 children (5 boys 2 girls). I was raised Catholic and have Blossomed into a beautiful, strong Catholic woman! My sister, whom is 5 years older, said to me, "You live your faith, and still love & stand by others even with all their faults." Well I guess that's a really great way of looking at my faith of God in others. I love God, He has filled my heart with happiness! He comes 1st! I don't care what people think of me as a crazy, Catholic girl. In the end it's just between Him & you. I LOVE my family SO MUCH!! I am truly blessed! THANK YOU JESUS! Without family, I really don't know where I would be. "Everything" I wanted in life so far has not happened, but I am putting my trust in the Lord to do His Will. I TRULY BELIEVE things happen for a reason in all of our lives. God is in control. I never really gave myself to Him until 2013 when I went on my 1st MARCH FOR LIFE PILGRIMAGE! OH how my Soul and EYES have been opened! I am an EXTREMELY PRO-LIFE Catholic person! I want to SAVE a BABY'S LIFE andAdopt him/her from being BRUTALLY MURDERED! I am also a helper. I love giving people my time, talents, anything to help make their lives easier, even if it's an ear to listen to them. In January 2015 I shaved my head and donated my hair in honor of my Aunt Sherry who recently passed from cancer
  • Lindsay, 25 from Marion, KS
    25, Marion, KS
I enjoy the little things in life. I love the small town living, it has allowed me to enjoy the beauty of the country; fishing, hunting, and camping I love the outdoors and the beauty. With my leisure time I love sports and outdoor activities, golfing, basketball, backyard bean bag toss. Most of all I love and enjoy spending time with my family, they are the people I care most about. We are very close and hang out whenever we can. My Catholic faith is a huge part of my life. I am always trying to grow in faith and do my best to follow God's Commandments. I believe finding someone with the same religion will only help a relationship to grow.

Hi there, my name means "little Christ!" Those are incredibly HUGE shoes to fill, but as Catholics, isn't that what we are all striving to do? We're all called to be saints, and I believe if the desire is strong enough, this is achievable. All it takes is total surrender, and the same kind of "YES" that Mary uttered at the Annunciation. The first question asks, "what are you passionate about?" Having lived through a divorce, I would have to say that this fervency for my faith is quite new. Jesus has shown me how much He loves me, and that He will always be there for me. It's been a tough 3 years, but adversity in life is what stretches us to grow, and it's not a matter of "if" the storm will come, but a matter of "when." This may sound corny, but I'm passionate about life now. I have a freedom of spirit that I never knew I had. I'm like a little girl that is ready to go out and experience the world, only now I have wisdom, knowledge and all the other gifts of the Holy Spirit to guide me. As Matthew Kelly challenges us to become the best version of ourselves, I make that my daily goal to say, what one thing can I change today? How can I make someone's life better today? The perfect date for me is fun, fun, fun. It doesn't matter what we do, but it has to involve laughter, a little bit of craziness, and a willingness to try new things together. The world is our oyster! I love to swim, jet-ski, powerboat, sail, bike, walk and hike, go out dancing, picnics, camping and snuggling by the fire. I love books, So many things really.....I'm just getting warmed up.

  • Abigail, 21 from KCMO, MO
    21, KCMO, MO
Hey! My name is Abby and I'm 21 years old. I come from a large family. I love to cook and bake! I try to be crafty, but unfortunately, I wasn't blessed with a crafty bone in my body so I make do. Haha. Recently I've started working out. It was extremely tough at first and I would dread going to the gym, but now I actually enjoy it. I never thought I'd hear myself say those words, but it's true. I love spending time with my amazing family. We're all very close and live to hang out or just chill. Unfortunately, I don't have any nieces or nephews yet, but I'm hoping soon. I really hope that I can find a guy that gets along really well with my family since they're so important to me. Plus, my dad has to really like him because if he doesn't....:O. Haha! I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I used to be extremely quite when I was younger, but I've since come out of that dark shell:-). I have a pretty good sense of humor. In a world like ours it's a pretty handy tool, so if you don't have one, you might wanna find one:-P. I consider myself a hard worker. Sometimes though I struggle with sticking to things and not quitting when it's tough. But I work on through to the other side saying: "get behind me Satan". It's a handy phrase lemme tell ya:-). I can't stand video games or Anime. I'm a traditional Catholic. I attend the Latin Mass with the FSSP. I love it! I'm so thankful to my parents for raising my brothers and sisters and I in this beautiful rite. It truly is amazing! I'm a romantic at heart, sorry. Actually, no I'm not;-). It's the little things that I love most. It doesn't take much to make me happy. We are very involved in pro-life work. I wish I could be a part of some bigger origination, but I haven't figured out how to work that into my hectic student life. Every now and then I'll take charge of the yearly bottle drive and Life Chain for my parish and Kansans for Life. A lot of times I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. I try not to run too quickly to conclusions:-).

Hello! I haven't done much of this online thing, but I'm trying to be open to the experience! The basics about me are pretty simple: I'm a true Minnesota girl. Despite living elsewhere for awhile, I love MN - the lakes, the snow, the lifestyle. My three favorite things to do are are traveling, dancing, and being on the lake. I'm always up for a road trip or a vacation to somewhere I've never been. I love a good live band - someone local or a big concert. I enjoy putting on heels for a night out on the town, just as much as I like putting on a baseball cap and going for a hike in the woods. To balance out the things I do like, I'll say that I really hate sushi and scary movies!

"Daily Scripture & Father Bob's Prayer WEDNESDAY IN THE OCTAVE OF EASTER APRIL 19, 2017 WEDNESDAY First Scripture Reading: Acts 3: 1-10 Gospel Reading: Luke 24: 13-35 VIEW DAILY SCRIPTURE The richness and power of Your risen presence comes to the poverty and impotence of our disabilities and disillusionment. Jesus, you are an enlightening stranger and a healing friend. You lift up our crippled spirits into the beautiful gate at the Temple of God's heart. You come into our disillusioned spirit and retell our story as the uplifting story of God's love. You are awesome in your resurrection. We know you in the breaking of the bread because you have retold and rewritten our story. You have gone to our depths and our hearts are burning. Please continue to come into the cracks, crevices and caves of our lives. Fill them and make them temples of your life. Thank you for your healing and freeing touch - and your enlightening presence." Amen!

So glad to get started and to expand my social life. I have been a widow for 2 years, after 60 years of marriage. I find it very difficult to be alone. As a married person, I enjoyed sharing our faith together. The Rosary has been an important part of my prayer life. We farmed (dairy) so I love rural living. Also enjoy the arts, especially water color painting. I have a large, loving family and enjoy being around them. I love to travel, and have done quite a bit. I have an on-going argument with myself about reaching out or not. I never thought at my age (81) that this would happen. but here I am.
