69, East Stroudsburg, PADiversified professional and currently a program specialist in a sheltered workshop. Been there, done that woman. It is important to me to be able to make a significant difference in the lives of others and, the world. Dreaming and executing those dreams is what I am about. Overcoming adversity with the help of God is so rewarding. Living my Catholic faith everyday in every way is what it's all about. Giving of self and one's possessions is up lifting to the spirit. Reaching out to all God's children provides me with a sense of fulfillment and peace.
59, Peoria Heights, ILHello, You have perhaps come to the right place and time where we finally have a chance to meet. Hopefully you are like me in that you enjoy travel, fresh air, water, and a beautiful view from newly discovered location. I love to garden and play tennis. I love going to school and taking classes that challenge me. I really like learning how to do things from people who are happy sharing their passions.
38, Orlando, FLI think people would describe me as decent and kind. I do tend to want to be of service and comfort to others and I value decency, relationships, and integrity above getting ahead and modern trends like consumerism. Like a lot of observant Catholics, it ensures that I have a couple of very sincere and close friendships with good people, but I tend to be out of step with society as a whole, which is difficult. I am highly educated and speak several languages, but find that I'm most comfortable in domestic settings or caring for others; I'm no longer interested in intellectualism or politics and like light reading or religious books. I like costume dramas :). I cook vegetarian meals. I love to travel and have lived and studied abroad (although my finances have not presented me with those opportunities in years). I'm a dog lover. I am very devoted to Our Lady and am a member of the Militia Immaculata. I'm looking for someone who is compassionate and has very good judgement and is more practical and wise than I. I would like to meet someone is successful/stable in his career, but not obsessed with money and status. I'd like to meet someone who appreciates me and with whom I might feel comfortable. It would be nice to meet someone who is tolerant and accepting but not to the extent that it leads to sin.

60, Indianapolis, INPassionate about my faith (growing in it) and my family (praying them into Heaven); all else takes second place. Annulment pending. Greatest influences; My parents, quite strict but built us to be strong, to love God, to be fair to others. Neither finished high school, which was fairly common during the War. It was impossible to fool my wise father on anything.... never kid a kidder, he would say! But he taught me many valuable lessons. I especially recall his kindness early one morning after a young man fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into our parked new station wagon....this young man had no insurance so refused a trip to the hospital, my dad brought him in, cleaned his head wounds and took great care of him. When I asked him why he wasn't upset about the car, he firmly chastised me that cars can always be replaced but people cannot be replaced. That always made a huge impression on me. He wasn't a brick and mortar type of Catholic, but he lived his faith by example in the way he treated others and his indifference towards materialism. At his funeral, I was stunned by the many people, strangers many, divulging numerous stories of his aiding so many in need, always while rather impoverished himself. My mother was more of a devotional Catholic and more recently I have developed a fuller appreciation and understanding of how her prayers have benefitted me (and still do) and it humbles me in gratitude. So they are my greatest influences and I hope they are smiling down on me. Leisure time? I spend way too much time on the computer and have cut that way back, except that I really enjoy writing and hope to publish someday. I love my dog, had two until recently. I read a lot, lovelovelove music and in my imagination I am an amazing dancer but reality is more like Elaine on Seinfeld. I try to go swimming at the YMCA several times a week to get in better shape and I really enjoy that, eat pretty healthy. Pilates 2 times a week. Love wave running and jumping waves whenever I get the chance. Politics is one of my many passions, so a bit distracted these days! I love old movies which is a passion I inherited from my mother. I'm especially fond of World War 2 movies based on hearing my father's experience in the army. Or any movie that I find edifying or based on a true story I always enjoy. Enjoy remodeling and decorating. I would like to study photography, I am drawn to snapping away at sunsets and autumn scenes or nature in general.
