Hello! Nice to "meet" you. My passions include my faith, my family and friends, my job, a healthy lifestyle, and exploring and enjoying the great outdoors. I am happiest when I am with loved ones or helping others, and I am fortunate to be part of a very close family, most of whom live in various parts of New York and New England. I love living in this part of the country, where there are abundant opportunities for outdoor exploration in the beautiful countryside, as well as great cultural activities nearby or in area cities. I'm a thoughtful person and love thinking of others and showing how I care in various ways, whether that's a significant other, coworker, stranger, friend, etc. My friends would also describe me as easygoing, trustworthy, fun, generous, and caring. When I'm not working in a clinical lab, you can often find me outside with friends -- running, cycling (I have hybrid and road bikes), hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and playing field hockey. Hiking is one of my favorite pastimes and a perfect way to spend time with loved ones, get good exercise, and explore the natural beauty around us. I've accumulated quite a few lost stories on my hiking adventures -- nothing serious, but I am developing quite the reputation. ;-) I run to stay in shape; it's also a great source of stress relief for me and affords me more great opportunities to get outside and see new places with friends through various 5ks and half-marathons. While I try to eat healthfully overall, I do have a big sweet tooth and enjoy baking and trying new recipes. I also enjoy watching and attending sporting events, especially ice hockey and baseball -- love the atmosphere at the rink or stadium! Volunteering is one of my favorite things. I feel blessed in many ways and enjoy giving back when I can, through activities in my church and community. My faith is a very important part of my life and helps me through life's challenges. I've traveled throughout some of the U.S. and a little in Canada and Europe, but there are many more places I'd love to get to someday!

I am a thoughtful, caring, soft spoken female who enjoys the nature of the four seasons of New England - hiking, biking, walking, swimming, kayaking, snowshoeing, cross-country and alpine skiing. I love the sound of the waves at the ocean and the feel of sand beneath my bare feet and the breathtaking view from the top of a mountain and the feeling of accomplishment of reaching the top. I look forward to my yoga and tai chi classes each week and use a treadmill in inclement weather. I enjoy reading at home and on vacation. I like going to the theatre or cinema watching a play or movie, or visiting an art gallery or museum checking out an exhibit with friends. I am a fan of live music - I'm an avid summer concert series and winter coffee houses attendee. I am also an animal lover; currently only have a fish as I pet sit for friends/coworkers when they are away; but I hope to have a dog or cat in the near future. I have a good work ethic. I am passionate about the mentoring/reading work I do and I like to support community causes. I like to keep active and fruitful; but relish my quiet time. Friends, family and faith community are very important to me. I am seeking a partner to share the rest of my life with. I believe in balance of work, play, being a couple and being my own person.

I am very passionate about music and singing, I feel most alive when I am singing especially in adoration. I am also a very social person and I like to be outside, active, and with friends. I love my family very much and am very close to them. In my leisure time I like to try and learn new things, learn languages, and I just started volunteering in the pediatrics. I am going to leave it to you to learn more about me :) I don't want to spoil the fun!
  • Nicole, 29 from Essex Junction, VT

Hello! My name is Nicole and I am a child of the one true King! Like most others who are navigating this site, I am looking for the person that God has chosen for me to share the rest of my life with. My faith is very important to me and while I've always been a pretty devout Catholic, the Lord has really worked wonders in me this past Lent (2016). I strive really hard to live every day for the Lord. However, I am also human, so with that sometimes I do struggle, but I keep pushing on to please and do the will of God! I am constantly trying to deepen my faith and grow my relationship with Jesus Christ. And ultimately I am looking for someone to share that journey with. I come from a big family, and after my faith, my family is everything to me. I am sort of shy when I first meet people, but gradually warm up as I get to know you more. I am pretty laid back for the most part, and can adapt to most situations, but I am also very organized when it comes to certain areas of my life. I am a big believer in positivity. I believe everything happens for a reason and that there is a silver lining in every situation (even though you may not find it for a while). Unfortunately, as everyone knows, bad things happen in life. But I feel like even when things look absolutely hopeless there is always something positive that can come from it, and that the way you react to the situation is what really shows your true character. I am a big believer in kindness and forgiveness as well, and try very hard not to pass judgement on other people. My number one passion in life is traveling. I love to travel anywhere and everywhere. So far I have been to 19 different states, 3 continents, and 9 countries. My goal in life is to visit all 50 states and every continent (except Antarctica). I don't travel quite as much as I use to but hope to change that in the near future. I just LOVE life and want to experience as much as I can. While my main objective for being on this site is to hopefully find my future spouse and soulmate, I am also very open for just making new friends as well. I think everybody has something to offer and everybody can use a friend. So if you are just in need of someone to talk to and possibly a new friendship please don't hesitate to send a Hello. I am pretty open so if you have any questions or would like to chat please don't hesitate to message me! Thank you for taking the time to read this! I hope you have a Blessed day!

I'm passionate about social justice. I love the church and all of her teachings. Even those I don't understand entirely I trust Mother church to guide our reasoning and values. I like to chill and read, play soccer, learn new languages and eat lots of innovative foods like raw/vegetarian recipes. I'm in law school so leisure time is a luxury.

I am a Navy brat who grew up all over the world, then joined the Army and saw a little more on my own. I was born in Vermont of real Vermonters but it took me 48 years to get back here. I am very expressive both physically and verbally and wear my heart on my sleeve or as my children say, my face hides nothing. I am gregarious, inquisitive, kind, loving and devoted to my family. I am more comfortable with small intimate gatherings than large, loud groups. I'm not the kind of person who needs a lot of friends, just a few that are close, who I can trust and rely on, and one special person to be my best friend and soul mate. I am a strong woman who can take care of myself but I'm old fashioned and like the idea of a man to take care of me. Communication is essential to me and I thrive on good conversation. I am a passionate woman with strong convictions and can be outspoken but not overbearing. I am passionate about music, my home, cooking, my family, veterans and military service, pro-life issues and my faith. My favorite pastimes are walking in any weather, gardening especially flowers, anything outdoors and writing.

Once upon a time there was a princess. She lived in a castle in the woods on a hillside, overlooking the valley kingdom she grew up in. She's a bit quiet at first, but once she's comfortable she will open up a little easier. She loves art and music, and going for walks whether they be in the forest or the magical realm of Burlington. She is often visited by animal friends at her castle in the woods. She has a good group of human friends too. She feels very fortunate to have met them. This introverted princess has had her heart broken, so she's hesitant to find a knight in shining armor, but also has hope that he'll come someday -not to save her, because this princess is independent and can fight her own dragons, but to show her kindness, patience, and understanding.

I'm a girl who likes to laugh and enjoy all of life's adventures both big and small. You're likely to find me at a coffee shop with a chai latte, Or at a concert rocking out to something with a good beat or maybe I'm in the woods or a mountain on a hike. I love sunny days, longs walks or hikes. Anyplace that's green and quiet makes me a happy girl. I am passionate about growing, learning, and doing- I always set new goals. Ask me what my most recent passion is! Being Catholic is very important to me. I take my faith very seriously and it is apart of my everyday life. I'm also a family girl; I stay very tight with my parents and siblings though I live far from them now. I love traveling, roadtripping, and exploring. Let me know if you want to join me on an adventure!

I'm thrilled with life - still can't believe how beautiful the world is. All shall be well, ultimately, eventually, (though sometimes it doesn't look that way.) I'm a spiritual seeker... spending my life learning how to love the way God loves - non-judgmentally, generously, kindly, totally. (A slow process, but worth it.) Catholic mother, Jewish father - I had a wonderful conversion-re-commitment experience right out of college. I like to call myself a 'Quatholic-Jewniversalist', since I go to Mass on Sunday & teach Hebrew School on Monday. After many years of dancing - modern, ballet, jazz, folk, rock, etc., I found a new kind of improv & realized it's my way of self-expression. As soon as I tasted it, I knew it was what i had been looking for ( What I'm doing with my life: Teaching InterPlay - the most fun system of playing with movement, voice, affirmation, and creating community I have ever found, Playing with & teaching 0-4 year olds - my peeps...Working with people with differing abilities, such as autism, Downs, cerebral palsy, ADHD, dyslexia, etc. - using theater, dance, the arts, Looking to see "that of God in every person" I'm really good at: encouraging people, playing with kids, teaching adults to remember how to play, languages, and playing around with English, improv cooking, laughing. The first things people usually notice about me: my enthusiasm/energy, people say I move like a dancer Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food: BOOKS - Everything by: Laurens VanderPost (lover of the Bushmen & Jung's friend), Scripture, especially Jean Vanier, Anne LaMott, Barbara Kingsolver, C.S.Lewis, Catherine de Hueck Doherty & Eddie Doherty; Karen Hesse, Crescent Dragonwagon, Mara Novak, Sheila K. Collins, George MacDonald, JRR Tolkien, The "Big Book", Henri Nouwen, Roald Dahl, Children's books MOVIES + PERFORMANCES - Les Mis, Wings of Desire, The Little Prince (there is a movie version!), Pilobolus, Harlem Ballet Theater, French and foreign films MUSIC - folk music, rock, world music, classical, late convert to opera Russian Orthodox chant: FOOD - especially foreign food: Mexican, French, Chinese, etc., minus sugar and flour. The six things I could never do without: God/Spirit, family/friends, children, music/dance, story-telling, creativity I spend a lot of time thinking about: philosophy, psychology, theology, Love, creativity, play, joy, justice, poverty.

I am looking for friendship first that maybe could turn into something more if compatible. I am a very social and love to be around upbeat people. Family and friends mean the world to me and spending time with them is important to me. I have a furry little best friend named Lu Lu who will steal your heart. I love the outdoors and spend a lot of my spare time hiking and being with nature. It brings me peace. I love yoga, music dancing and hanging out with friends, but enjoy the quietness of being alone as well. I like a nice glass of wine and good food once in a while and would like to get to know someone while enjoying the things I love.

I love candles, going to the beach, my family, my dog, music, staying in, my friends, food, and going outside. Not necessarily in that order. I find things to be thankful for every day, I believe that's very important. My weekdays are spent working, and in my free time you can find me reading, calling my mom, shopping, or eating some chocolate. Who knew it would take so long to write some things about myself? It's hard to explain your personality in this box, so feel free to message me if you really want to get to know me.. and think my sarcasm won't offend you :)
