I love being Catholic and living out my Catholic Christian faith is extremely important to me. I daily want to seek God's will for my life. I am the oldest of ten children, five girls and five boys! I am very family oriented and LOVE being part of a big family! I am especially close to my mom and my four sisters and enjoy spending time with them. I am an avid runner and have completed my fifteen marathons. I recently started hiking, and I really love it. I am very involved in the school where I teach and enjoy staying active. I love pretty much anything outdoors.

I love Jane Austen!!! I'm in love with Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. I am silly allot. I am the oldest of eight all together. As a child our family went camping all the time. My parents are from California but I have always grown up in a little town in Central Kentucky. I was in a convent from the age of 19-21. I never took final vows. Although I did receive a habit on the feast of St. Joseph March 19th. And also a name, Sr. Mary Virgin of Humility, after St. Fra Angelico's painting of Our Lady (which I saw the original painting in DC). Our family has chickens and rabbits and a cat named Kiwi. I think Id like to express the inmost of my being as one who can't live without showing another compassion and love. I can love God but that is realized in the love we show to those around us. I always believe in Therese's little way of love that the most important thing to do is right in front of you. That Gods will is in the everyday moments. You do not need to look very far to see His will. And the more you will realize God's providence is when you are faithful to the little details in life. This is my peace. He leads me. It's funny that the saints in my life have kinda picked me and not the other way around. Especially St. Joseph. I have 12 nieces and nephews all very young (from the age of 6-3months, and two unborn children which I did include in my count) and I spend a lot of my time with them. My Goddaughter Rosalia is in one of my pictures. My family likes to think they are full Italian sometimes lololo but only because my grandpa is from sicily. I love to cook.

I love little things and find joy in simplicity. I love animals and music and trying new things. I love adventures and scenic routes. I love leather bound books and Christmas decorations. I love mountains and sunshine and paper snowflakes. I'm not afraid of snakes or spiders. I like sushi. I love children. I love my family. I love God. I want nothing more than to be a wife and mother. I currently work as a behavioral technician for children with autism. It is a very challenging job but often so very rewarding. I've worked in some form of childcare almost exclusively since graduating high school and consider these jobs good practice for the future when I have a family of my own. In my free time, I mostly just stay home and read or write or practice piano and guitar. I don't go out often but would given the right occasion and company. I like to go out for sushi and trivia with my siblings pretty regularly. I also enjoy ballroom dancing. Anyway, that's me. Oh and I'm also a hopeless romantic and I sing Disney songs while I clean the house, in the car, and at various other random times. I also quote movies and tv shows a lot. Get my whole family together and just hope you get all of the references - mostly nerdy stuff.

I'm not looking for prince charming. But after being on this site since January and having met no one, I'm wondering what is it about my profile that turns men away? What is it that I have said - or didn't say - that keeps men from responding? Personally, I'd rather have a "thank you" or hear that we're not a match than to be viewed and ignored. This site should be better than secular sites, right? If you wouldn't mind, could you take a moment and tell me what prevents you from having a conversation with me? If it's something I can improve within my profile, that could be valuable information. Thank you. I am an active, practicing Catholic; and my faith is central to my life. I love enjoying the gifts God has blessed us with in this life here on earth: nature, music, art, creativity, history, etc. My life has taught me a lot; and I especially learned much about marriage through my divorce. Sounds contrary, but the experience and subsequent healing forced me to explore what God designed marriage to be, not what I thought it was. I have learned that it's more about giving than getting; it's more about serving my husband than it is about how happy he can make me; it's more about taking care of each other and helping each other on our journey to heaven than anything else. This means I will want to know how I can help you each day; and how I can pray for you. I will want to help you be the man God created you to be. I want to be the girlfriend/wife that holds your hand, gives you hugs, listens to your stories and stresses, supports your dreams, and rubs the stress from your shoulders. I stated that I have a few extra pounds, which is true, but I am actively working to change that (and I'd love to continue working on that with my partner), so it's not something that will be permanent. In fact, I have lost over 50 lbs since I first started paying attention. I enjoy walking and hiking. I used to swim, play tennis, and play volleyball; and I wouldn't mind trying these again. I also purchased a used bike last year, so I'd like to start doing some riding as well. I also said I can't relocate. For the most part that is true; however, I might be able to get that decision changed under the right circumstances.

Hello friend! I converted into the Church in 1999. I have a deep love for the Holy Eucharist. One of my favorite things is going to adoration and being alone with Jesus. I love those simple yet holy moments. It seems like most of us don't take those moments enough, myself included. I love photography, especially taking pictures of animals and the beauty of nature. I also love taking walks and the simple things. One of my favorite places is Longwood Gardens. It's a place I can get lost in the beauty of nature and can be found there a few weekends a month. It's a place for me to bask in the wonders of God's creation. I have come to realize that every day there are holy moments all around us. We just have to open our eyes and enjoy those moments. I love the little things because they are what really matter in life. :D

I am a happy optimist. To me, the glass is definitely on the full side. I love being with family and friends who celebrate life and relationships. I am told by many people that my sense of humor is one of my better virtues - treasuring the funny moments in life. My husband and I of 30 years raised 3 kids. My son is an electrician in Austin, and he is the dad to my two oldest grandchildren...Calvin is 3, and Samantha is 9. My daughter is a stay at home mom of 2 and a retired teacher, and youngest daughter is a sophomore at Texas A&M. She's still figuring out what she wants to do. My husband died 4 years ago. I love the beach and mountains. But being that I live in a valley, I enjoy my beautiful yard and swimming pool. Friends come over and barbecue and we just chill and talk about life and faith. My best friend and I will pull out our guitars and hammer out P&W. We're in a band together that plays for Masses 3 times per month. I am passionate about my faith! I love the hands on part as well as the studying or discussing aspects of it. I am the Confirmation and High School Youth Ministry Director and have been in the School of the Holy Spirit for nearly 20 years now (ever since my conversion and coming into the Catholic Church). One of the things that drew me to the Church is how she answers and explains so many of the "coincidences" in life. Looking back to my life "before", I am amazed how I could not have seen God in nature sooner. Or how the work of Jesus in people's lives is so evident now but I couldn't see it before my eyes were opened. I thank the Lord for His patience with me.

Christ first in all things! (But since there's specific field for talking about the faith, I guess I'll wait to talk about that further along.) St Iranaeus said, "The glory of God is man fully alive!" I believe that maxim with my whole heart. To start with, I'm a voracious reader. Great literature, philosophy, mysteries, history, theology, children's literature, spiritual - I'll welcome it with open arms into my already bursting bookshelf. My love of ink doesn't stop with reading books, however - I love writing novels, poetry, and plays. Although I really struggle with shyness when I am getting to know someone, I'm an extrovert behind it all, and love long conversations about anything everything. I love a good debate or Socratic discussion, but also love joking around or comparing notes on a good movie. I enjoy going on long, rambling walks with others. I love working with youth. Theatre is a passion of mine, on either side of the footlights. I'm also fond of dancing (ballroom, swing, English and Irish country dancing) and you can sometimes find me informally DJing at dances thrown by my family or friends. Singing makes me happy. I like getting together with other Catholics for prayer, and am one of the organizers for a Catholic singles/young adults group. I do like watching a good show from time to time, and I must admit I enjoy reading articles on the Internet, though I try to make sure I'm balanced about it. I like boardgames as well.
