A little about me.. I will start my profile with a comment. I will not respond to "No Photo or Send me a message.: If you are interested in finding some one on here be it friend or a relationship please allow us the same courtesy we give you. I'm an outdoorsy, Christian lady who tends to be a little on the quiet side until I get to know you. What is important to me is the relationships I have with my religion, family, and friends. I'm an animal lover and have an 8 pound Bichon Frise who thinks she's human. My glass is always half full and I believe we should maintain a sense of humor as much as possible. I love to smile and laugh. I do have a serious side when it's necessary. I have always enjoyed making people smile, laugh and joke with them. Happiness or age doesn't come in numbers it's who you are. I don't want to change anyone I want to be a part of the things they enjoy and have them enjoy the things I do. I am an active, social person who looks on the bright side of life. I exercise when I can to keep fit and would like to meet someone who also likes to keep busy, travel the world or soak up local culture. I am a sports fan, Baseball, love those hot dogs, soccer, fast pitch softball, football, just learning about this game, recreational activities, such as movies, plays, packing a picnic and heading to the mountains, trying new restaurants as well as old favorites, grilling burgers and eating on the patio, spending the day with friends and/or family, volunteering in my spare time. Going to baseball games are always fun! I enjoy meeting people here and in other countries. I do my best to be a good friend and I guess the best way to put it is, "I'm a people person." I have close family ties with my children and grandchildren and see them as often as I can. I also enjoying horse back riding, swim aerobics, classic and antique car shows, dancing, tennis, (badly) and boating. I believe "God is my co-pilot." He has helped my family and I through many things in our life time. Especially during the time my Grandson was in a life changing accident. Both God and his Grandfather's were holding him during the time he needed them. I try to volunteer as often as I can. Ginter Botanical Gardens and The Virginia Museum of fine arts.I do love the Virginia Symphony Orchestra. Reading is one of my quiet pastimes. I have a passion for traveling.
