40, Alexandria, VA"The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where Love resides...TRUE BEAUTY IS REFLECTED IN HER SOUL!" I am a simple woman who loves life & tries to live it to its fullest. Life is a great adventure ... might as well live it. I enjoy travelling & seeing the beautiful world God created. My faith is the core of who I am, it's what grounds me. I've been richly blessed & I thank God for all the joys & struggles He's allowed me to experience thus far...these have only made me stronger. His grace is enough!

52, Gainesville, VAHello there! I'm a 52yo widowed mother to a beautiful 9yo girl. My daughter is my life! She is the reason why I try my best to stay and look young because I had her a little late in life. I don't want to look like her grandma when she turns 15. I have been coming to the US since 1995 on and off, and finally settled down here in 2004. At this point in my life, I am ready to socialize again and make new friends. Joining this site is one of those steps I'm taking. Lets see where these new friendships lead to. Here's a little insight to my thought process to give you an idea what type of person I am. I strongly believe in God. I believe that difficulties and trials strengthen us thats why I never give up. We all have our own crosses to bear and I truly believe that God will never give us more than we can handle. I always see my glass as half-full and never half-empty. I believe that if I stay positive, good things will happen to me. I believe that I have a choice each and every single day, therefore I choose to feel blessed. I choose to be thankful. I choose to be excited about life. But most of all, I choose to be happy. I would like to add that I'm politically incorrect....because where I come from, we are encouraged to be honest at all times and say exactly how we feel and what comes to our mind, without being mean. But I also know when to be quiet and not say anything because I was raised to be caring, kind and compassionate and I will never knowingly hurt anyone with unkind words. I was raised properly by my parents. Lastly, I am very young at heart. I like to do things that take me back to my youth. I still play on monkey bars and flip upside down every chance I get. I enjoy all sorts of music and I like to sing along and dance along, even in public, if I hear a catchy tune. Life is too short to worry about what other people might say or think, right? LOL Thank you for visiting my page and viewing my profile. Have a nice day and God bless you!
49, Alexandria, VAMy passion is serving the less in life and I look forward of a God center life with my family. When I was a child in our village I started working at an early age to care for the sick in a small clinic. There I learned so much that medicines cures with care and prayers. Then on when I I got married I took care of my sick husband for 11 years. It's the most influential, in my life because he is a politician and truly cared for the poor. I enjoyed doing in my leisure time volunteering for the home of aged and orphanage and campaigning for blood donations. It made me happy serving and seeing others happy.
