31, Woodstock, VAI'm a third year film school student working on a Bachelors in Motion Pictures and Television from the Academy of Art University with the goal of eventually running my own Catholic film production company in the next couple of years. In the mean time I have an awesome job working for a Catholic home school organization in their audio/video dept. I film and edit video tutorials and marketing videos for them. It's the greatest job I could ever have and look forward to it every day. Outside of work and school, I help my mother care for my homebound grandmother, which is a great spiritual journey everyday and I am thankful for it. In my spare time, I make short films, write screenplays, novels and short stories. I also collect movies and movie posters. I own my own house as of three years ago, which was a really big milestone and I have two pugs who are loads of fun and lots of work. But I love it. In the near future, I see myself finishing school, starting my own film production company, and hopefully starting a family in God's time.
72, Vienna, VAI am 71 years old and retired. I go to Mass almost daily and am active in the Marion Society, the pro life ministry, and support of the military through my church. I enjoy travel and have a spirit of adventure, something that I discovered since my separation. I went sky diving, danced with the Indians in the jungle of Peru and went on safari in Kenya and Tanzania. I have also toured eastern Europe. I have four married sons and 11 fantastic grand children that are a joy in my life. I kid sit frequently. I like to cook, do needlecraft and refinish old furniture. I enjoy the legitimate theatre and going to the movies.I like watching old movies from the 30's and 40's on TCM. I've learned to be handy since being on my own, but do rely on my sons for any heavy work to be done around the house. Life is good and it would be nice to have a male friend to attend social events with me. I have a few aches and pains owing to my age but no major ailments, thank the good Lord. I have a wonderful little dog, Winston. He weighs all of nine pounds and is very important to me. I love animals.
31, Fredericksburg, VAWe cannot do great things on this Earth, only small things with great love - Mother Teresa When it comes to our vocation in life our response to God's calling must be unselfish and begin with the belief that we must seek out our future spouse because we want their salvation through the love we have for them. God please help us to follow your path of love.
56, Triangle, VAI am passionate about growing in faith, time with my family, volunteering and fun. I enjoy sports, reading, cooking and travel. My philosophy is "work hard-play harder". When I'm not working I like to get out and enjoy some of Virginia's beautiful national parks, either mountains or beach. I also enjoy dining out with friends or just hang out and visiting. I have been most influenced by my strong faith and amazing family. I'm proud to say I am a cradle to casket catholic and I am profoundly grateful for the strong sustaining faith demonstrated by my parents. I have been greatly influenced by "Stephen Ministry" that I'm currently in training for that helps people in life crisis. My faith has sky rocketed in the last several years through spiritual growth and everyday I become more of the masterpiece God created me to be. I'm blessed beyond belief and hope to find someone to share it with ;;)
25, Manassas, VAHey, I'm Elizabeth! I am the oldest of ten and was raised in a very traditional Catholic family. I am also a recent graduate of Christendom College and am working as a Medical Assistant at Tepeyac Family Center. I have dreamed of being a nurse for the last ten years and am super excited to finally begin a hospital-based diploma program next fall!! I enjoy spending time with family and friends, singing, dancing, and playing volleyball.
26, Arlington, VAI am passionately pro-life. I love my job working in development for a conservative non-profit. I love to read and write. I love my family. I enjoy crafting, especially sewing and crocheting.
28, Fairfax, VAHi, Im Chelsea! I'm a sweet, down to earth and genuine person looking for the same in someone else. I enjoy cooking, traveling, spending time outdoors, going to the gym, Church, reading, going out to different bars and restaurants, watching movies, and spending a lot of time with the most important people in my life. I do have a nurturing, protective nature and soft spot when it comes to my family, children, elderly, and anyone with mental angst or physical pain. The driving force that motivates me is my innate desire in simply helping others. I grew up in the country and although I need the excitement of the city life, my heart yearns for adventure outdoors and is drawn to the simple lifestyle. Intelligence, integrity, and honesty are the most attractive traits to me. I take interest in keeping up with what is going on in the world around me and also desire someone with intellectual curiosity. I am looking for spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical compatibility as I believe these components along with the same core values makes for a healthy and long lasting relationship. I love to laugh so am looking for someone with a great sense of humor and someone that is a complete gentlemen with values and morals. I'm looking for a meaningful relationship with someone that I can build something real with.
29, Herndon, VAI am passionate about a lot of things. I love my job--I'm an attorney--and I knew I wanted to be an attorney since high school. I felt called to this job and I am so thankful in how God has worked everything out and brought me to the place I am today. I like spending time with my dogs (I have two), my friends, and talking to my family. My family live in different states so I try and stay in touch by phone, e-mail, and text as much as possible. I also enjoy reading--there is nothing better than a good book, especially on a cold and rainy day. I love running and run almost every day. I spent last year training for a half marathon and ended up running three. This year I am training for a marathon and hope to do a few before the year is over.
27, King George, VAI'm a nerd. I'm awkward. I tend to be shy. I get embarrassed easily, especially around guys that I like. I'm a klutz. I'm definitely not perfect, but who is? :) I was married for a few years, I have full physical custody of our three kids. They were born in 2012 (boy), 2014 (girl), and 2015 (girl). I'll never talk badly about my ex because that's just not who I am, but I've definitely learned a lot about who I am as a person and what kind of person I'm looking for as a result of my marriage not working out. I have a home business that takes up a lot of my time. I started it 4 years ago when my oldest was a baby, just as a hobby. It has grown to be almost a full time job. I'm not an "expensive flowers and jewelry" kinda girl. If you want to spoil me, I'd much rather enjoy movie tickets or a new DVD, or a big bag of KitKats or Twix, or even a bunch of fruit :) Seriously, just pick out some grapes, apples, and mangoes... better than any flowers or jewelry :) I'm not super girly in general anyway... I wear makeup twice a year for Christmas Mass and Thanksgiving, sometimes for a few special events. I don't wear dresses often; I prefer skirts, jeans, or workout leggings. I don't wear earrings, but I do have two tattoos and would like at least one more. I play with hair color every season. Nothing crazy like pink or blue (yet), but I do like doing burgundy or dark red in the Fall/Winter, and lighter brown in the Spring/Summer. I've lived in Virginia most of my life. I'd probably be happy living just about anywhere though... except maybe Florida or Kansas. I don't think I could deal with frequent hurricanes or tornadoes :) I used to take Swing and Ballroom dance lessons in high school. I love the old fashioned dancing especially: Charleston, Jive, Quickstep, Swing. I may or may not watch Dancing With The Stars every season just for those dances :) Fair warning ;)
22, Arlington, VAI'm a senior at Marymount University, studying communications and business administration, and graduating this May! I plan to stay in the area for at least the next couple of years, living with friends from school. My parents currently live in Chesterfield, VA but for me "home" is Lexington, KY where I spent most of my life. I don't have a southern accent (although I've been told it comes out a little bit at times) but I do have a love for the culture - sweet tea, fried chicken, and Ale-8-One especially! My biggest passion (besides my faith, obviously) is photography. I've been purposefully learning since I was in high school and after working two wedding seasons as an assistant photographer for a really fantastic company, I know that it's something that I want to pursue long-term. I'm rapidly growing as a photographer, recently started shooting for the Diocese of Arlington, and have been published in a couple of newspapers and a magazine recently; I really want to do it full-time eventually, but I'm too business-minded to just jump headfirst into it without a business plan or the proper equipment (which, as a full time college student, I can only afford in bits and pieces). Besides photography and sweet tea, I love the beach and warm weather, cats, and wine. I'm a shy extrovert which can be very frustrating at times - I'm comfortable with being quiet and tend not to talk a lot, but I'm an open book and I love being around people and going out and doing things. I like a relatively wide variety of music, movie, and TV genres. I like to read, but haven't done as much of it leisurely as I'd like lately. As I said, I'm an open book - please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions or just want to chat!
18, Alexandria, VA+JMJ+ I revel in making God laugh when I tell Him my plans. :) Laughter to me, is the greatest form of therapy and I love to laugh often. My faith means everything to me so I am passionate about it. As a Navy Chief's daughter, I hold a high regard for our military and all things patriotic. GO NAVY! BEAT ARMY! ;) For leisure, I enjoy being outdoors, playing games with my family, catching up on reading, watching Netflix, listening to music and rollerblading or biking.
25, Fairfax, VAI love life. I love fall, books, long walks, running (sometimes, haha), old movies, and painting. As much as I love painting- and anything artsy and creative for that matter- I don't do it nearly as often as I should. I love being outside in nature, though I can't claim to be the most outdoorsy type naturally. I try to get out and try things though. When I have free time, I love spending time with friends. I definitely enjoy a light-hearted time, but I honestly enjoy a good deep conversation more than anything.
