33, Arlington, VAHey there! Found it was pretty hard to meet people organically, so thought I would give this a try. Born and raised in the nova area, but only moved back to the area about 18 months ago. I work for a Catholic nonprofit doing mostly graphic design with a handful of other communications bits and pieces. I love love love live music, traveling, hiking, running, Jeopardy, museums.. I used to speak Italian relatively well, so currently trying to relearn. I am an English citizen (dual) and have spent some of my life living in the UK which I think has affected my sense of humor - I can be quite sarcastic and dry. I've always had a bit of wanderlust, so not sure where I'll end up and don't seem to stay in the same place for too too long, although that's not to say I wouldn't settle down at some point. Anything else, just ask!
40, Herndon, VAI'm simple, yet I'm like no other. I love to travel and take pictures of famous landmarks...love to sing but I'm not a singer...I go for wide range of music genre...would like to learn to play any musical instrument but never got the chance to. I'm a quiet type but loves to be around people with great sense of humor.
59, Haymarket, VAMy name is Amy and I am a retired naval officer, mother of three and am passionate about family and living every day to the fullest. Looking for companionship, fun, great conversation about our love of Christ and faith, in general.
25, Alexandria, VAI'm in my 20s, so I'm on the edge of a lot of possibilities. I graduated from Ave Maria University and moved to back to Northern Virginia. Right now I am working as a preschool teacher. In my free time I enjoy books, hikes, Netflix... and margaritas. I am also a Spartan Sprint finisher, so just little bit of a badass. I would go to see a horror movie with you if I got to hold onto you just a little bit, but it would probably scare me for the next month. Feel free to message me, I'd love to talk regardless of where it goes!
22, Front Royal, VAENTJ! Choleric-Sanguine I'm originally from southern Minnesota. I moved to Virginia to attend a liberal arts college. Majoring in Political Science and minoring in Theology. After I graduate, I plan to attend graduate school to get my Masters in Theology. I love traveling. I've been to New Zealand, Germany, Peru, Ireland, Italy, and Israel. I love politics and current events, as well as history. My favorite periods are the High Middle Ages and the 1920s-1940s. I teach American History and Religion high school classes. I also tutor many subjects. I'm a volunteer big sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters. ATVing, Hiking, Hunting, Fishing, Cooking, Drawing, Painting, Reading, Paintball, Disc Golf, Movies, Guitar. I used to act and sing a lot in high school. So that's something I'm going to make sure my kids will be involved in. I'm a huge socialite. The only time I enjoy being alone is when I'm praying. Even then, I love praying with my friends. I crave the presence of other humans, or I freak out. So I'm constantly hanging out with people. I love adventures. Go on one with me? ;) I love learning. But I hate not using what I've learned. So I often go off on tangents. Partly because that's just my personality, partly because it's about something I think everyone should know about. I LOVE documentation. Which basically means I love taking pictures and filming the crazy adventures my friends and I go on. However, I also know when to put the camera away and just enjoy each moment.
53, Front Royal, VAI'm an honest, hardworking, uncomplicated woman who raised two children on her own, and am very proud of the adults they've become. I don't take life too seriously, because I know there are ups and downs, and we just have to roll with the punches. No one gets through life without suffering , so we want to make sure we are working together during trials, and not tearing each other down. We're supposed to be helping each other to get to heaven, and knowing God wants us to be happy, there has to be chemistry AND common sense!! I converted in the Jubilee year and love my Faith. I have donated soups to soup kitchens and made home deliveries. I prayed the Rosary in front of abortion sites and Marched for Life in D.C. 8 straight years! I enjoyed visiting the elderly in nursing homes with my kids. I played flute in the church choir for Easter and Christmas. I was Assistant DRE, and taught Kindergarten CCD, which I LOVED. I went door to door with the Legion of Mary for a few years. I was blessed to be able to home school my kids. I like the Latin Rite, learning about the Byzantine Rite and iconography, and have gone to a few Spanish Masses (Our Lady of Guadalupe)! I'm in love with the diversity that the Universal Church has and bottom line is that I need to connect with someone who shares the faith- there's no need to get involved with someone who is not practicing his Faith. I enjoy being outdoors, there's nothing better than a walk in the woods near a stream! Love going to the beach at the Outer Banks! Always up for burning a log in the sand. I like theater and love to laugh. I listen to all types of music, especially Jazz and 50's. I'm conservative, and pretty politically involved. I'm sentimental, caring, and nostalgic. I'm loyal and committed--once I make up my mind that someone is trustworthy. I'm emotionally strong, independent, and financially secure. I'm not rich and that's not important to me, but I do need someone who doesn't like to use people, but instead is independent and generous! If we're watching football, I like the Carolina Panthers, and have since the team formed in the 90's. My son went to NDU football camp for several years so, "'Go Irish!' No games.
34, Centreville, VAHi! I'd probably first describe myself and equal parts the girl next door and your partner in crime, with just a dash of whimsy to make things interesting. Just so you know, I do have a tendency to recite along with movies I know really well and I can get pretty competitive at air hockey, so I hope that won't be a problem :) Having grown up in the military, I love to travel and can't wait to see the rest of the world, Alaska, Hawaii, and New Mexico being some of my favorite places so far. I'm always up for a Marvel movie or Star Wars, and I'd love to find someone who understands the importance of staying through the credits. My pets are very important to me and I think that a house isn't a home unless it has one or more four-legged sweethearts running around. I love trying new things and new food, and am always up for an adventure or even just staying in. My work is with a non-profit organization for ophthalmologists, but my real passion and hopefully career is becoming a children's/teen fantasy author. And totally random, but I love chocolate covered bacon and have an irrational fear of storm drains. I know that sounds like a rather random list, but anything else just ask. I'm also a big nerd at heart so, to quote Ferris Bueller, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it" ;)

I'm fortunate that I've been to more than 50 countries and still counting. I enjoy going to the movies, theater, and art galleries in any part of the world. I love the cultural part of the Washington DC area, many places to go and visit.
54, Herndon, VAHi...I'm an easy going person who loves fun, adventure, passionate about travel and exploring new places.
