32, Arlington, VAI've never really felt comfortable filling out these boxes... I'm imperfect, but trying. I'm sometimes unsure, but growing in confidence. I value authenticity and kindness, above all. I've learned that the greatest gifts in life really are those which are hard fought for. (and as I writer, it bothers me that I ended a sentence with a preposition, but what can you do?!) I grew up in the Midwest, and while I'm very close to my family and fortunately see them regularly, Virginia has captured my heart. I'm a writer by trade, and currently work for non-profit dedicated to rebuilding culture and family especially within poor and vulnerable communities through media. I'm on a constant quest to live the most beautiful life possible, which starts with an active faith life. I love to laugh! I love to listen to and tell stories. On weekends you can find me at museums/wineries/with friends/enjoying the DC area and surrounding towns. I'd take a day outside (preferably in the countryside) any day, and like a true Midwesterner, I love a good snow storm.
23, Stafford, VAGod has blessed me with an amazing family, a college education, and an incredible career. Finding a soulmate who will help me continue towards Heaven is my ultimate goal.
29, Arlington, VAI love writing, both opining about politics and culture and writing stories. You'll always find me reading (at least) three different books on my phone. I like people-watching and traveling, good coffee and wineries, taking long walks, exploring the outdoors, and I've recently taken up cooking (recent successes include not burning all the things). I'd say the most influential people in my life are the folks I follow on Twitter. (Tongue in cheek...or not?)
28, Fort Belvoir, VAI am passionate about words, spoken and written. I think that it's amazing how we build relationships through the words we use, much like how words in a book build a story.
35, Winchester, VAI am a simple, humble mid-west raised woman--out here on the East coast for about 8 years now. I can say that I love the blue ridge mountains and how spectacularly green it get here! I come from a large catholic family. I have four other siblings and I am the youngest. Raised by a hardworking father and mother, whom above all the amazing values they instilled in us--faith was of the highest importance. What a true and lasting gift to be able to give your children. Something that guides us through our lifetime and definitely has for myself. I was previously married and did not continue with that marriage because of adulatory on his behalf. Just thought it would be important to be forthright upfront. I do not have it annulled at this time but will be starting the process to do so. I do have a desire to get married again and pray that that special someone knows God well enough to never even think about abandoning their vows. I love food, cooking, and great wine. I like working out. Love trying new things and adventures. I believe in maintaining a healthy balance in everything in ones life. Too much of anything can be a bad thing. I love nutrition and practice healthy eating habits but would not deprive myself of something that I would like to enjoy from time to time. Right now, going to the Institute for integration nutrition to gain some knowledge in this area. I am a bit of a hopeless romantic and think that it is the little things in life that end up truly being the big things. I like plans but also think it great to do things on a whim. Life is too short not to enjoy it and have fun! Laughter is essential and important part of who I am. My father is silly and I grew up with that fun silliness and music filled environment. With that being said, have a huge love for me is music and dancing. Singing has always been a big part of my family. I can sing well and enjoy it.
23, Falls Church, VAMy life is centered around recieving the Eucharist each day and seeing Christ in all I do. I'm creative and passionate, when I'm not teaching art to the kiddos, I'm making it myself. Life is a beautiful gift from God and I spend every day trying to share this gift in any way I can.
25, Alexandria, VABorn and raised in Tennessee and a southern girl at heart. I'm easy going and love to laugh, (I am the typical middle child.) Family means the world to me and I cannot wait to one day have a family of my own. While I'm only 25, I'm definitely an old soul. My faith is a part of my daily life and helps me cope with the heartbreaks of my job as a pediatric cardiac icu nurse. There's nothing that driving with the windows down, wind in your hair, and a good playlist can't fix. I love DIY projects (think building furniture) and like many women, I'm slightly obsessed with Joanna Gaines and HGTV's Fixer Upper. On the other hand, on any given fall Saturday, you'll find me watching college football. Roll Tide! I wish to always live my life with this in mind, "She was able to do more because she loved more."- St. Gregory the Great, on St. Scholastica.

34, Arlington, VAMy greatest passions in life are my family, my job, and traveling. I am the youngest of 4 and the proud aunt to 13 nieces and nephews, and I have a large extended family in the area as well. I'm a high school history teacher - and I love it! I love both what I teach (especially U.S. History), and I also really enjoy working with high school students. They keep me young at heart, and I love passing along my passion for history to them. A few of my own students have gone on to become high school history teachers themselves. :) I've had the chance to travel to Europe with school trips, and I'm hoping to go back for more. I also love finding a good beach with family or friends and enjoy sitting back and relaxing with a good book by the ocean.
29, Leesburg, VAI am a practicing Catholic and traditional Latin Mass attendee. I am a musician, artist and writer and I hope for these to be my full-time profession.
