Hi - I live in Arlington, VA and work for a Hotel Company. I have moved several times with my company and this is the third time living In the D.C. metro area. Third times a charm! I recently bought a condo with beautiful views of Va, and beautiful sunsets! I don't plan any more moves, other than the possible beach house or condo for R&R. I am looking for a relationship with someone who shares my faith and with who I can be great friends with, and enjoy all life has to offer. I live to travel, any ocean or hiking Southern Utah are my favorite spots to be. I like tennis and golf, but amateur at both[?] Having gone to undergrad and grad school in Boston, and my parents born and raised there, I am a big Patriots and Red Sox fan. Other hobbies include cooking, wine tasting, yoga, kayaking, reading, to name a few. I love a great sense of humor, sense of adventure and openness to finding that special someone. That's me in a nutshell, if anything is interesting please drop me a note.

Quick note: I'm not a subscriber (yet), which means it takes me over a week to be able to read messages. But here are a few things to get this thing started: I'm a cradle Catholic. I only started taking my faith seriously in my late 20's (and even now have struggles from time to time) - before that, I was really an agnostic going through Catholic rituals halfheartedly, and only some of the time. I'm an INFP according to several different sources, and apparently a roughly half-half melancholic-phlegmatic according to this site. More later... Hello - this section in still under construction. More later. I will write more later. Yes, this means I am postponing this section. I will complete this at a different time. How many ways can I say this to fill 150 characters? Oh, there we go.

I am a woman that loves to hike, take photos of nature, and be with family. I like to have campfires, play games with friends, and even curl up to watch a movie. I am a Catholic school teacher where I get to teach about science to kids of various ages. I am an introvert with some spunk thrown in. I have a passion for volunteering, being in nature, and our Catholic faith. I consider myself a down to earth, compassionate, caring, calm yet excitable, loving, faith filled woman. I try to look on the bright side of life. I would be happy sitting down by a fire, curling up for a movie, hiking in the woods, or playing board games with friends. My family is very important to me. I currently live near one of my sisters and the rest of my siblings are scattered across the US including several in the Midwest. This summer I spent 6 weeks traveling through the Midwest to spend time with my brothers and sisters. I had an opportunity to visit with 8 of my 9 brothers and sisters and all 14 nieces and nephews. It is a joy coming from a family of 12. It is wonderful to have diverse personalities. I attribute my understanding of others' needs to coming from a large family. I seek to do God's will in my life each day. I also live my life by the direction of the Holy Spirit. Many of my decisions in my life had taken place because it was prompted by the Spirit. From deciding to do a year with the Catholic Network of Volunteer Service as an Americorp worker to switching careers and pursuing a Masters of Education. I believe God speaks to each of us in unique ways and I enjoy being able to experience Him first and foremost in the Eucharist, as well as the beautiful ways he is with us each day. One of my examples is that I feel God shows me his love through little love notes, I see hearts in nature and out and about in and I feel God reminded me of His presence and love for me. Though I enjoy living out here in VA, I am open to live where God calls me. I would prefer to be near at least one family member though.

Hi! Thank you for looking at my profile! I'm 55, been divorced two years and was recently advised my marriage has been nullified!. I'm told I'm genuinely nice, I'm sincere and honest and extremely empathetic. I'm introverted, enjoy reading a lot, but also love to stay busy. I have four grown kids, and two granddaughters/1 grandson. I've worked for the federal government for 30 years and plan on retiring in about 8, hopefully to someplace warm! I try to go to the gym most days, though I'm not obsessive about it. I go to Mass every week and volunteer on a couple ministries.

I'm an honest, hardworking, uncomplicated woman who raised two children on her own, and am very proud of the adults they've become. I don't take life too seriously, because I know there are ups and downs, and we just have to roll with the punches. No one gets through life without suffering , so we want to make sure we are working together during trials, and not tearing each other down. We're supposed to be helping each other to get to heaven, and knowing God wants us to be happy, there has to be chemistry AND common sense!! I converted in the Jubilee year and love my Faith. I have donated soups to soup kitchens and made home deliveries. I prayed the Rosary in front of abortion sites and Marched for Life in D.C. 8 straight years! I enjoyed visiting the elderly in nursing homes with my kids. I played flute in the church choir for Easter and Christmas. I was Assistant DRE, and taught Kindergarten CCD, which I LOVED. I went door to door with the Legion of Mary for a few years. I was blessed to be able to home school my kids. I like the Latin Rite, learning about the Byzantine Rite and iconography, and have gone to a few Spanish Masses (Our Lady of Guadalupe)! I'm in love with the diversity that the Universal Church has and bottom line is that I need to connect with someone who shares the faith- there's no need to get involved with someone who is not practicing his Faith. I enjoy being outdoors, there's nothing better than a walk in the woods near a stream! Love going to the beach at the Outer Banks! Always up for burning a log in the sand. I like theater and love to laugh. I listen to all types of music, especially Jazz and 50's. I'm conservative, and pretty politically involved. I'm sentimental, caring, and nostalgic. I'm loyal and committed--once I make up my mind that someone is trustworthy. I'm emotionally strong, independent, and financially secure. I'm not rich and that's not important to me, but I do need someone who doesn't like to use people, but instead is independent and generous! If we're watching football, I like the Carolina Panthers, and have since the team formed in the 90's. My son went to NDU football camp for several years so, "'Go Irish!' No games.

Have you seen the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"? Well, that is the family I come from only it is a close knit Big Fat "ITALIAN" Family. I am a first generation American, young at heart woman. I know what it is like to have a loving, passionate family who understands what a successful relationship needs...Faith, loyalty, partnership, friendship, honesty, good sense of humor. I do my best to live a life that matters and do my best to shine Christ light. I truly believe it's a person's heart and the fruits of their lives that matter. I love good food, life, music, singing, hiking, longs walks on the beach, travel...no matter what life hands me....I have faith that God has us in the palm of his hands. We (my family and I) view the glass as ALWAYS half full in our home. Faith, Honesty, Friendship and Family is very important to me.

I am thankful to live and work in one of the most beautiful places on God's earth, Charlottesville, VA. I love to stay busy, but I also enjoy just being at home. In my free time, I attend yoga classes (any day with yoga is a great day) and walk my dog in local parks and trails. Spending time cooking and entertaining are passions, but it's not fun to cook just for one. Some of my other interests include hiking, camping, art, theater, any UVA game (Wahoowa!) and music. I spent years volunteering at my church's youth ministry program, and as a Boy Scout Leader (yes, I camped with the troop often). Unfortunately, my previous job situation and weekly travel demands, prevented me from volunteering, but things have changed and I'm eager to share my gifts with my community.

I need to start out (because I was not sure how to answer the questions with the serial dots) that I have been called to become Catholic for many years. I went through RCIA but did not convert due to my past marriage situation. I attend mass in the mornings weekly. LOVE the homilies. I cannot take communion obviously. I talked to a priest about a month ago about converting so I feel I am on the cusp. Here goes: I look forward to having a partner that partakes of my values and zest for what can be... I enjoy taking care of a partner - doing little things that add up to making life more pleasurable and easier for the person in my life. I am a very active gal that works to keep up with my business, maintaining my rental properties, [?]my kids, being fit and my thirst of exploring the great outdoors. I am a social gal. So, I like going out and strolling downtown areas or heading to the mountains for sunset...but also enjoy staying in and relaxing on the deck poolside. I like to partake in witty conversation and jest. I am also a good listener and like to engage in newsworthy and thoughtful conversation. I have a kind heart for the less fortunate and the homeless in my community which I cherish knowing. I enjoy finding the good in all people (my mom taught me that). I am loyal, loving physically and emotionally. I work for myself and LOVE LOVE my business as a pattern broker for North American retail. Through my business, I get to know folks globally which is a real "high" for me. As my own boss, I am able to take blocks of time off to travel and explore but must also work hard to keep up with my business. I would definitely say that I am athletic and toned as I love to be active daily with runs, biking, lifting, swimming, hiking or the like. I have competed in over 400 races of all distances (well, up to 50 miles in one day) and currently enjoy a race or triathlon or two but nothing to brag about these days. Thanks to many years of hard work, totally financially secure. Interested in someone to hang with being adventurous as well as man that will sit down and watch a good movie or some t.v. on occasions. And, most importantly, gotta have FAITH and live a life of FAITH and take me along on that journey... Email me if you truly want to connect with me.
