58, Chesapeake, VAI am most passionate about my faith and taking the opportunity to be grateful to God for each new day I can get up and be the person He wants me to be. I am grateful to God that I am a baptized Catholic, because the Catholic Church affords me the opportunity to receive Jesus in Holy Communion daily, to humbly confess my sins as often as necessary in order to continually receive the graces and mercy Jesus so very much wants to fill my heart with through His faithful servant, the Priest in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Attending Catholic School throughout my life, I feel blessed by God to have always been supported and encouraged to live out (practice) may faith and not be afraid to speak the truth of the Gospel in a secularized world. The Parable of "The Good Samaritan" touches me profoundly and has always been the measure I use to follow Jesus. I do not subscribe to "the being politically correct" mentality! I prefer speaking the Truth in love! I love walking, hiking, being outdoors, cooking, bowling, watching EWTN, movies, soccer, going to concerts (fan of hard rock, new wave, lots of bands out of England, German rock, pop and new wave).

My experience as a career naval officer was pretty important in molding my outlook on life. I used to like sailing, but hard to get the time of late. I have never colored my hair or had any plastic surgery...not sure why folks do that when we are supposed to grow old gracefully.....but, you are as young as you feel and act. My dog loves to walk and so do I! He is 11 and half lab, half ridge-back hound--very handsome. I love dogs, all kinds, but prefer the lab size.

41, Virginia Beach, VAProfile picture?!?! Uff. I look like a dork in pictures. So I'll go ahead and post the one where I'm at an 80s music concert dressed like a "Material Girl". I'm a single mom to two hilarious little kids. I'm a beach bum, love to go out to restaurants and be social when it suits me. Other times I'm a bit of a homebody. I've got a few quirks- but as far as I'm concerned, they're all pretty hilarious. I'm crafty and artistic and a passionate seamstress. (Don't talk when the sewing machine is running). I'm close to my family and look forward to the time that I spend with them. I need sunshine and quiet to recharge. Having been in the restaurant biz for over twenty years I love a good meal and pretty much any beer you put in front of me. Backyard BBQs, swimming and good music make me happy:). When I love, I love big. I come from a long line of Irishmen with twisted senses of humor. Not everyone gets it. I'm a list maker and an analyzer (to a fault). I'm totally fine with the simple things in life. Put the music on- pour me a beverage and I'm happy just existing.
