44, Richmond, VAFun! Fun! Fun! to be around, kind, and adventurous. I love people, loooove to cook and entertain, travel, and meet new people. I am very family oriented and come from a close-knit family. My passion though are my mini road trips. l just love to get into the car and drive. I usually let the scenery of the place determine where I'll stop. The most influential person in my life is my beloved dad, second to him is my brother who is responsible for my faith growth by being an example of what a Christian should be like. My faith is very very important to me and I'll like a man who feels the same. My passion is helping the homeless. And one day I'll love to run a home for pregnant teenagers/women who are in dire need and have no where to go but want to keep their babies. God Bless! and good luck to all of us!
65, Alexandria, VAI am a recovering workaholic, who has focused almost exclusively on my professional career for the last 13 years; this is very easy to do inside the Beltway. I want to find a special friend to spend fun time with. Life is so short. We need to smile more. Harry Truman said, "If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog." I'd rather find a male companion. I believe that part of Gods plan for me is the special man He has been preparing with only me in mind. I believe the time to meet this special man is NOW. Could it be you? Let's pray that God enables the right people to meet. I would love to experience mutual love in the greatest love of my life.
66, Arlington, VAI am a well-spoken, soft-spoken, open-spoken woman. I like deep conversation, excellent books, interesting friends, and daily exercise. Baseball games are always a good time. Amusement parks fall into that category, too. I love museums, especially art museums. And road trips when I'm not driving. Dancing is a happy passion. I don't have any children of my own, but I'd love to meet yours. I like my pool, the beach, and the sun, but I've found the shade is a much better friend. Bridge is challenging me at the moment, but I plan to become a master in a few decades or so. Dance. I can't say enough good things about dance. Dancing makes me feel like my soul is set free. I'm lucky enough to dance three to four times a week, and attend a dance camp each summer. That doesn't mean I'm great at it or that I compete. I just love to do it. I really enjoy hearing stories, whether it's books, TV, movies, plays or just straight from peoples' mouths. Christmas is my favorite holiday, For me it's almost two months long and pure joy.
49, Bristow, VAI grew up in the Northern Virginia area. I was pretty active, and have enjoyed the many experiences of my life that have helped form me into the person that I am. My faith is central to my life and I look forward to sharing and growing in the faith with a friend and potential or future partner as we continue to strive to be the people God created us to be. I am not sure this is best way to meet people, as nothing compares to being with someone in person and getting to know the dynamics between you. So rather than tell you all about me here, I will leave room for first meeting conversation. I will say that I tend to be on the shy side so bear with me if I get quiet or nervous. I am told I have a gentle spirit. You can let me know if you agree :) I don't come on here every day or do a lot of searching so if you have any interest in seeing if there is a potential to meet, please send me a message and make the first contact.
52, Alexandria, VAHi! I love my Catholic faith, my daughters and my life. I am a joyful person who loves to laugh and travel. I have been very blessed, even during difficult times. I love to bake, to visit museums, to find a new place to explore or revisit a favorite spot and to just enjoy this wild, crazy, wonderful life.
60, Spotsylvania, VAI was born and raised in a traditional Catholic family in Pittsburgh. I now live in Virginia, but go back to visit my family every chance I get. I am still in Virginia because my two grown sons and my grandchildren are here. I truly enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and watching how amazing they are. I love the outdoors, and like to hike or just go for a long walk. My quiet time is spent reading, praying and just being thankful for all of my blessings. I am partially self employed, so I do spend a lot of work time on the computer. I am somewhat of a dreamer, and am consistently motivated by possibilities. I feel that God guides me in life, and everything I desire to achieve, can be done through faith.
38, McLean, VAPlan to expound more later, but for starters... Catholic all the way; I teach middle school and I am in my 17th year of doing so. I currently teach religion, math, and literature. I travel, mostly domestic travel these days, but I would go to Europe in a heartbeat; family relationships are paramount. I have 13 beautiful nieces and nephews who all have a particular place in my heart. I am the youngest of four--well six really, Mom lost two babies. My dear Mumma was taken back to the Good Lord just over five years ago. She was my first and best friend. I still miss her very much. I now understand what those who have lost a loved one say- "you never stop missing them, but you learn to live in the new normal that is life without them here on this earth." I also take joy in the hope that she is Home with her Jesus, and in the thought of one day being there with them! I love my family and though we are scattered all about the country, we are just a prayer, a phone call, and a Facebook chat away.
27, King George, VAI'm a nerd. I'm awkward. I tend to be shy. I get embarrassed easily, especially around guys that I like. I'm a klutz. I'm definitely not perfect, but who is? :) I was married for a few years, I have full physical custody of our three kids. They were born in 2012 (boy), 2014 (girl), and 2015 (girl). I'll never talk badly about my ex because that's just not who I am, but I've definitely learned a lot about who I am as a person and what kind of person I'm looking for as a result of my marriage not working out. I have a home business that takes up a lot of my time. I started it 4 years ago when my oldest was a baby, just as a hobby. It has grown to be almost a full time job. I'm not an "expensive flowers and jewelry" kinda girl. If you want to spoil me, I'd much rather enjoy movie tickets or a new DVD, or a big bag of KitKats or Twix, or even a bunch of fruit :) Seriously, just pick out some grapes, apples, and mangoes... better than any flowers or jewelry :) I'm not super girly in general anyway... I wear makeup twice a year for Christmas Mass and Thanksgiving, sometimes for a few special events. I don't wear dresses often; I prefer skirts, jeans, or workout leggings. I don't wear earrings, but I do have two tattoos and would like at least one more. I play with hair color every season. Nothing crazy like pink or blue (yet), but I do like doing burgundy or dark red in the Fall/Winter, and lighter brown in the Spring/Summer. I've lived in Virginia most of my life. I'd probably be happy living just about anywhere though... except maybe Florida or Kansas. I don't think I could deal with frequent hurricanes or tornadoes :) I used to take Swing and Ballroom dance lessons in high school. I love the old fashioned dancing especially: Charleston, Jive, Quickstep, Swing. I may or may not watch Dancing With The Stars every season just for those dances :) Fair warning ;)
53, Front Royal, VAI'm an honest, hardworking, uncomplicated woman who raised two children on her own, and am very proud of the adults they've become. I don't take life too seriously, because I know there are ups and downs, and we just have to roll with the punches. No one gets through life without suffering , so we want to make sure we are working together during trials, and not tearing each other down. We're supposed to be helping each other to get to heaven, and knowing God wants us to be happy, there has to be chemistry AND common sense!! I converted in the Jubilee year and love my Faith. I have donated soups to soup kitchens and made home deliveries. I prayed the Rosary in front of abortion sites and Marched for Life in D.C. 8 straight years! I enjoyed visiting the elderly in nursing homes with my kids. I played flute in the church choir for Easter and Christmas. I was Assistant DRE, and taught Kindergarten CCD, which I LOVED. I went door to door with the Legion of Mary for a few years. I was blessed to be able to home school my kids. I like the Latin Rite, learning about the Byzantine Rite and iconography, and have gone to a few Spanish Masses (Our Lady of Guadalupe)! I'm in love with the diversity that the Universal Church has and bottom line is that I need to connect with someone who shares the faith- there's no need to get involved with someone who is not practicing his Faith. I enjoy being outdoors, there's nothing better than a walk in the woods near a stream! Love going to the beach at the Outer Banks! Always up for burning a log in the sand. I like theater and love to laugh. I listen to all types of music, especially Jazz and 50's. I'm conservative, and pretty politically involved. I'm sentimental, caring, and nostalgic. I'm loyal and committed--once I make up my mind that someone is trustworthy. I'm emotionally strong, independent, and financially secure. I'm not rich and that's not important to me, but I do need someone who doesn't like to use people, but instead is independent and generous! If we're watching football, I like the Carolina Panthers, and have since the team formed in the 90's. My son went to NDU football camp for several years so, "'Go Irish!' No games.
32, Cali, COHello! Blessings! Honestly, this feels kind of weird but I'll do my best to describe myself and let you have an idea of what this daughter of God is like :) I've been blessed with the opportunity of living two extreme phases in life: 1. the rebellious late teen/early 20's and 2. Religious life. Yes, I was a nun for 3 years (I reached novitiate) and returned to lay life three years ago. It was a beautiful, awesome, (obviously) life-changing experience! I know now that God has a purpose in everything He allows us to live (even though sometimes what we decide to live is not really what He wants for us, He always has a card up His sleeve), I would have never considered myself to be a good Wife and Mother if it hadn't been for religious life. Now I have a completely different perspective of life, and feel so blessed and indulged, capable of so much love because I am infinitely loved by Love Himself (1 John 4:8). I love music, movies, nature, walking, singing, talking, hugging, traveling, chocolate, dogs (especially German Shepherds and other big dogs)... I love to sing, especially for Him, it's one of the many things that brings joy to my life.
53, Centreville, VAI am a positive, open-hearted person with a sense of humor. In my free time, my preference is to spend time outdoors. I do a lot of hiking, but also make occasional efforts to go whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking, etc. I've lived overseas, so I do enjoy traveling and exploring new places. But I also enjoy relaxing vacations at the beach and just spending "down" time with my two kids (one in college, one in high school). I consider myself to be fairly social and have a circle of wonderful friends in my life. I like going out to dinner, for drinks, to the movies, concerts, etc.
56, Fairfax, VAHi, My name is July. I enjoy walking and cooking. Family is very important to me. I have also traveled a lot and really enjoy doing it. I am looking for someone kind and honest. Someone who will enjoy just the simple things in life.
