  • Theresa, 28 from Dillwyn, VA
    28, Dillwyn, VA
My Faith, family & friends are some of the most important things in my life. My family has a dairy about an hour and a half from Richmond, VA. Both my folks come from farming backgrounds & always wanted one of their own. I enjoy and love this life and it is something I want to teach my children to love, or at least respect and understand a farmer's life. (No farms, no food, y'all!) I attend the Latin Mass every Sunday and Holy Day and yes, do I wear a l (lace) Mantilla. I was home schooled by my mother, who has taught all of my siblings, from K-12th grade, minus a few years in private school. I thoroughly enjoyed being home schooled & I would love to be able to teach my own children. With God's grace, I pray that will be possible someday. I love life - love to travel & have done a good deal of it in my life. - I hope to do more, but for now, that's not something I can do. I have traveled through most of the continental US & I have spent time in France - mainly in the Vendee region & it is some of the most beautiful countryside I've ever seen! Unfortunately I haven't yet been able to make it to any of the other countries in Europe, but perhaps someday, my dreams for that will come true! Henry David Thoreau said - "Do not lose hold of your dreams. For if you do, you may still exist but you have ceased to live." So I'm going to hold onto my dreams, in case someday they become a reality. Among other things my travels have taught me that even though the world is a large place, in Traditional Catholic circles it is actually quite small. Some of the things I love - Latin Mass, photography, coffee, warm weather, mountains, laughter, babies/children, soft rain on the windows, sushi, the ocean, long walks and the color blue. If you have any questions, please drop me a line! I'd love to hear from you! God Bless! For those of you interested, my personality type is INFJ. :)

  • Anna, 33 from Arlington, VA

Hey there! Found it was pretty hard to meet people organically, so thought I would give this a try. Born and raised in the nova area, but only moved back to the area about 18 months ago. I work for a Catholic nonprofit doing mostly graphic design with a handful of other communications bits and pieces. I love love love live music, traveling, hiking, running, Jeopardy, museums.. I used to speak Italian relatively well, so currently trying to relearn. I am an English citizen (dual) and have spent some of my life living in the UK which I think has affected my sense of humor - I can be quite sarcastic and dry. I've always had a bit of wanderlust, so not sure where I'll end up and don't seem to stay in the same place for too too long, although that's not to say I wouldn't settle down at some point. Anything else, just ask!
  • Mary, 28 from Virginia Beach, VA
    28, Virginia Beach, VA
I'm a Filipino young adult. I was born and raised catholic, but I didn't fall in love with my faith until college. I may not be the perfect catholic, but I try to strive for holiness even if it's hard to do that in this world. Never give up right? Other than the love of my faith, I am an introverted extrovert if that makes any sense. I love going on spontaneous adventures and travel, but at the same time, I enjoy "me" time or quiet time in between.

Writing a quick synopsis of me, who I am, is not a doable task. I could list off my likes and dislikes, my hobbies and the such, but it rings of disingenuousness. Instead I must ask for that extra effort to get to know me without a preamble.
  • Elizabeth, 25 from Manassas, VA
    25, Manassas, VA
Hey, I'm Elizabeth! I am the oldest of ten and was raised in a very traditional Catholic family. I am also a recent graduate of Christendom College and am working as a Medical Assistant at Tepeyac Family Center. I have dreamed of being a nurse for the last ten years and am super excited to finally begin a hospital-based diploma program next fall!! I enjoy spending time with family and friends, singing, dancing, and playing volleyball.
  • Linda, 33 from Dumfries, VA
    33, Dumfries, VA
I am a recent ADN RN grad working in home health care and I have also worked part time as a massage therapist for over 8 years. I take classes online part-time to work on my BSN. I will soon be looking for a new hospital job that will give me experience to put me on the path towards travel nursing, which should give me a lot of options of places to work. Nursing is a fulfilling career that gives me the opportunity to take care of people, but I would put my own family first when the time comes. For fun, I enjoy social dancing, going out for drinks or food with friends and trying something new. When I get the time, I like going to museums, historical sites, old churches and cute towns.
  • Shan, 53 from Front Royal, VA
    53, Front Royal, VA
I'm an honest, hardworking, uncomplicated woman who raised two children on her own, and am very proud of the adults they've become. I don't take life too seriously, because I know there are ups and downs, and we just have to roll with the punches. No one gets through life without suffering , so we want to make sure we are working together during trials, and not tearing each other down. We're supposed to be helping each other to get to heaven, and knowing God wants us to be happy, there has to be chemistry AND common sense!! I converted in the Jubilee year and love my Faith. I have donated soups to soup kitchens and made home deliveries. I prayed the Rosary in front of abortion sites and Marched for Life in D.C. 8 straight years! I enjoyed visiting the elderly in nursing homes with my kids. I played flute in the church choir for Easter and Christmas. I was Assistant DRE, and taught Kindergarten CCD, which I LOVED. I went door to door with the Legion of Mary for a few years. I was blessed to be able to home school my kids. I like the Latin Rite, learning about the Byzantine Rite and iconography, and have gone to a few Spanish Masses (Our Lady of Guadalupe)! I'm in love with the diversity that the Universal Church has and bottom line is that I need to connect with someone who shares the faith- there's no need to get involved with someone who is not practicing his Faith. I enjoy being outdoors, there's nothing better than a walk in the woods near a stream! Love going to the beach at the Outer Banks! Always up for burning a log in the sand. I like theater and love to laugh. I listen to all types of music, especially Jazz and 50's. I'm conservative, and pretty politically involved. I'm sentimental, caring, and nostalgic. I'm loyal and committed--once I make up my mind that someone is trustworthy. I'm emotionally strong, independent, and financially secure. I'm not rich and that's not important to me, but I do need someone who doesn't like to use people, but instead is independent and generous! If we're watching football, I like the Carolina Panthers, and have since the team formed in the 90's. My son went to NDU football camp for several years so, "'Go Irish!' No games.
