27, Dillwyn, VAMy Faith, family & friends are some of the most important things in my life. My family has a dairy about an hour and a half from Richmond, VA. Both my folks come from farming backgrounds & always wanted one of their own. I enjoy and love this life and it is something I want to teach my children to love, or at least respect and understand a farmer's life. (No farms, no food, y'all!) I attend the Latin Mass every Sunday and Holy Day and yes, do I wear a l (lace) Mantilla. I was home schooled by my mother, who has taught all of my siblings, from K-12th grade, minus a few years in private school. I thoroughly enjoyed being home schooled & I would love to be able to teach my own children. With God's grace, I pray that will be possible someday. I love life - love to travel & have done a good deal of it in my life. - I hope to do more, but for now, that's not something I can do. I have traveled through most of the continental US & I have spent time in France - mainly in the Vendee region & it is some of the most beautiful countryside I've ever seen! Unfortunately I haven't yet been able to make it to any of the other countries in Europe, but perhaps someday, my dreams for that will come true! Henry David Thoreau said - "Do not lose hold of your dreams. For if you do, you may still exist but you have ceased to live." So I'm going to hold onto my dreams, in case someday they become a reality. Among other things my travels have taught me that even though the world is a large place, in Traditional Catholic circles it is actually quite small. Some of the things I love - Latin Mass, photography, coffee, warm weather, mountains, laughter, babies/children, soft rain on the windows, sushi, the ocean, long walks and the color blue. If you have any questions, please drop me a line! I'd love to hear from you! God Bless! For those of you interested, my personality type is INFJ. :)

65, Midlothian, VAI am a little shy at first when meeting someone new, but once I know you better, I open up. I am a kind, loyal, loving, caring, affectionate, and faithful woman who I wants honesty, loyalty, and sincerity in a relationship. I have a good sense of humor and love to laugh. I try to follow a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy going out and doing fun things with my soul mate and best friend. I grew up in a large Catholic family. Presently, I have 6 siblings who all live in my city. My parents were true to their Catholic faith and taught us their beliefs. My interests are: beaches, mountains, taking walks, watching football or soccer on TV, dining out, local festivals, movies on TV with someone to cuddle with, reading, gardening, slow dancing, day trips to anywhere, walks through parks, cultural events occasionally. My only strong dislikes on men are: tatooes, body piercing, and beards, (thin mustaches are Ok).
27, Vienna, VAIts hard to write all I'm passionate about in a box but I would have to say I'm most passionate about my religion and family. I'm the oldest of four and half Hungarian. I was an international figure skater for 18 years and had many good years but in the end it seems it wasn't God's plan for me to continue. I am still finding His plan for me and am waiting for Him to show me what it is.
24, Fairfax, VAHello! I'm a fairly recent Protestant convert to Catholicism (Easter Vigil 2013). I'm a bookworm and a cat person. I love intelligent conversation and learning new things, particularly in subjects I'm passionate about: literature, politics, history, etc. I have a robust sense of humor and a particular fondness for puns. I'm originally from southeast PA, but I'm currently working part time and going to school full time for my Master's in International Affairs. I hope to make a difference someday in US-Russian relations.
53, Front Royal, VAI'm an honest, hardworking, uncomplicated woman who raised two children on her own, and am very proud of the adults they've become. I don't take life too seriously, because I know there are ups and downs, and we just have to roll with the punches. No one gets through life without suffering , so we want to make sure we are working together during trials, and not tearing each other down. We're supposed to be helping each other to get to heaven, and knowing God wants us to be happy, there has to be chemistry AND common sense!! I converted in the Jubilee year and love my Faith. I have donated soups to soup kitchens and made home deliveries. I prayed the Rosary in front of abortion sites and Marched for Life in D.C. 8 straight years! I enjoyed visiting the elderly in nursing homes with my kids. I played flute in the church choir for Easter and Christmas. I was Assistant DRE, and taught Kindergarten CCD, which I LOVED. I went door to door with the Legion of Mary for a few years. I was blessed to be able to home school my kids. I like the Latin Rite, learning about the Byzantine Rite and iconography, and have gone to a few Spanish Masses (Our Lady of Guadalupe)! I'm in love with the diversity that the Universal Church has and bottom line is that I need to connect with someone who shares the faith- there's no need to get involved with someone who is not practicing his Faith. I enjoy being outdoors, there's nothing better than a walk in the woods near a stream! Love going to the beach at the Outer Banks! Always up for burning a log in the sand. I like theater and love to laugh. I listen to all types of music, especially Jazz and 50's. I'm conservative, and pretty politically involved. I'm sentimental, caring, and nostalgic. I'm loyal and committed--once I make up my mind that someone is trustworthy. I'm emotionally strong, independent, and financially secure. I'm not rich and that's not important to me, but I do need someone who doesn't like to use people, but instead is independent and generous! If we're watching football, I like the Carolina Panthers, and have since the team formed in the 90's. My son went to NDU football camp for several years so, "'Go Irish!' No games.
30, Bristow, VAI am a very quiet girl but who knows what he wants me like people are sincere , honest , in my free time I like to read books or read the bible hear music I also love movies that leave you teaching in the vids
69, Arlington, VAI enjoy having intellectual conversations, especially about science and mathematics. I enjoy cooking and dining, especially with friends. I love dogs and wish I had one but living alone, it is like having a child, that I want to share with someone. In my leisure time I volunteer at the Animal Welfare League in Arlington, VA. There, I love them, walk them and help them find a good home. I also love learning and doing sculptural ceramics. I volunteer at the Art League in Alexandria, VA where I am also on the glaze team. As an only child I enjoy being alone, mediating and praying. I also love staying healthy. I do aerobic and weigh training regularly while yoga keeps me flexible. I love to dance and recently started studying adult ballet. I plan to learn salsa dancing, it has a great beat. I enjoy doing scientific collaborations with colleagues around the world, with many that I have never met in person. I enjoy being around positive, upbeat people who view the cup as half filled, not half empty. I respect and need friends who are honest and trustworthy. I also need friends who are real and do not pretend they are someone other than who they are. I am also a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol and joined after 9/11 to help with home land security, search and rescue. I have a private pilot license to fly single engine land airplanes both high and low wing, high performance and retractable gear. My license is augmented with an IFR rating. I have not been active since I moved to DC 10 years ago. Up until then I flew the eastern seaboard and Canada and spent much fun flying places, like Martha's Vineyard for breakfast to stay current and to share costs with colleagues in my flying club.
39, Virginia Beach, VALooking forward to the next phase in life....will be transitioning from military to civilian life soon. I'm passionate about art and cooking. I also volunteer with a few ministries at our church. I have lots of hobbies and interests, just ask. I have three small children and enjoy spending time with them...we are an active bunch- festivals, beach, parks, aquarium, shows, whatever! There have been many inspirational people that have influenced my life. To name a few: my grandmother, my high school coach, my Sunday school teacher, a former mentor and boss. All of them had incredible work ethic, overcame adversities, had strong love of God, and lived that love through how they treated others. My kids inspire me to do my best and be the best mom I can be each and every day. Each one is a precious, miraculous gift from God, and they deserve nothing less than Superwoman for a mom. I bring my 'A' game every day, and some days I may fall a little short (probably just expecting too much of myself), but I keep trying hard to do the best for them 24-7-365. Every day is a new challenge, the only easy day was yesterday! "Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be, one-hundred-percent and then some." Events that have influenced my life: birth of my children, two extended military deployments, a car accident, a specific mass on my last ship, times that I didnt succeed but tried again and reached my goals. Get to know me and I'm happy to share details of any of the above 'sea stories'.
