Welcome! Bienvenido! I am an elementary school Spanish teacher 10 months of the year, world traveler the other 2. I enjoy hiking, dancing & singing in the church choir, though I don't do as much of any of those as I would like. I've been known to help a friend with an interstate move on the hottest day of the year and drive and/or fly several hours to visit old friends. I enjoy walks by the lake, in the mountains, on the beach and in the snow, singing in harmony, putting together photo books and just chilling with family and friends. I love speaking Spanish and am intrigued by visiting new places, especially where I get to practice Spanish. The most recent international trip was to Spain this past summer. I went with a friend/colleague, and we hiked the last 100 km of the Camino to Santiago (awesome!), and then continued to visit several other cities and some Spanish friends of mine. While in Toledo, we were able to attend the priestly ordination of the youngest son of a family that I know there. Last fall (2015) I went to Chile, where I got to visit the girl that I sponsor through the organization Unbound. I've also been to Colombia, Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands, Guatemala, Spain, Mexico, El Salvador, Panama, Italy, France & Canada. I have more recently been trying to discern what it is that God is calling me to in my life, and community keeps coming to mind. I think our world is very lacking in real connections, friendships, and a sense of community with the other people we find in our lives, in our church and in our world. I'm not sure what direction that will take, but I do feel called to be a good friend to those that I have in my life, a sort of "ministry of friendship," as one of my friends called it. I guess we'll see where the Holy Spirit leads... :)

I am full of life and love to have a good time. In my free time I like to work out and hang out with my friends. I am currently in nursing school and loving every, ok almost every, minute of it. It's nice to feel like I am finally on the right path. I love a great glass of wine and conversation with someone who challenges me. I don't like people who just tell me what I want to hear.

My name is Amanda, I just graduated from VCU with a Master's of Teaching. I have a passion for kids and have always wanted to be a teacher. I have a large family with a lot of love in it. At this point I'm looking for a husband. I've never been one to just date without thinking about what kind of future could come out of it. I have a German Shepherd who's about a year old and the most loyal and loving dog. I was never a dog person until I decided to get him. Message me for more information!

I am just a girl next door who is passionate about many things besides my Faith. I think music has had the biggest influence on my life. I also really enjoy dancing. I would love to find a good dance partner. I love the arts, fashion, and home design. I also have done a little 'pin-up' modeling and have had my picture recently published in a magazine.

I am Asian. I left my native country when I was 26 years old, and never went back. One day I will. I have two yound adult boys. My life has always centered around them, although I am not the center of their lives. One day I will have to let them go, and hopefully granchildren take their place! I am quite comfortable with my own company. And I am pretty much a homebody. I belong to a Catholic charismatic group, and my social life revolves around the activities of this group. I was a cradle Catholic, and only learned more about my faith because of this group. I come from a family of 12 -- one can only guess how wacky our holidays get-togethers are. I am on this site only because my girl friend told me to join as soon as my divorce and annulment were done. Part of me wants to meet possibilities for a 2nd time around, but part of me is also drawn to a life of solitude.

+JMJ+ I revel in making God laugh when I tell Him my plans. :) Laughter to me, is the greatest form of therapy and I love to laugh often. My faith means everything to me so I am passionate about it. As a Navy Chief's daughter, I hold a high regard for our military and all things patriotic. GO NAVY! BEAT ARMY! ;) For leisure, I enjoy being outdoors, playing games with my family, catching up on reading, watching Netflix, listening to music and rollerblading or biking.

I like to make people laugh. It's a gift from my upbringing. I would like to meet someone just like me! Seriously though, a person with the same qualities of which I aspire like being... funny, adorable, kind toward others, intelligent, healthy, fit and good with money --investing wisely and without great debt. Someone who appreciates a little adventure and exploring our world through travel or study would be nice; someone who definitely makes me think and love --and laugh too. Mostly, I would like to meet a fellow believer of Christ who lives a life of integrity and honor, loving, forgiving and helping others.

New to the area; looking to meet someone for friendship and having a family. I like dancing, karaoke and writing poetry. I don't drink or smoke. I enjoy walking every day and I try to work out as often as I can. My faith is very important to me and I would enjoy going to Mass with husband and family.

Hi, I'm Sarah and I'm from the beautiful Roanoke Valley. I enjoy writing and reading, especially fantasy and science fiction. Some of my favorite things to do are hiking, watching movies, and just being a big nerd in general (big emphasis on the nerd part, both academic and geek!) I'm also a big animal lover, from dogs to horses and even snakes. Also I like to keep in shape and I run every other day along with a fair share of other exercises. I come from a close family and enjoy spending time with them. I'm the second oldest of four, and I'm very close with them.

I'm an outgoing person, energetic, and friendly. I love to travel, learn about other cultures, real estate, reading, and wines. I'm open to know new things. I like to watch sports, go Nat's! international soccer games and I appreciate a new restaurant and ethnic foods. My mother was the most influential in my life. Life is so short that we have to live it to the fullest and take the best of it. I'm in the real estate business and I'm also a freelance translator. I travel whenever I have the chance. I'm fortunate that I've been to more than 50 countries and still counting. I enjoy going to the movies, theater, and art galleries in any part of the world. I love the cultural part of the Washington DC area, many places to go and visit.
