28, Fairfax, VAHello! My name is Amber and I just recently moved to the Fairfax area for a new job! Originally a Florida girl but excited about this new path in life! In my spare time I do many different things. I enjoy sporting events, taking pictures, handing with friends and just generally being outside. I'm a pretty big college football fan so that's basically how I spend my Saturday's in the fall! I'm looking for someone who will love me for who I am, inside and out. Someone who doesn't take life too seriously but not too easy. Someone who has goals for their life. I would enjoy someone who is a tad sarcastic like I am. Just someone who meshes well with my personality.
38, Falls Church, VAThe ability to make connections with people and build relationships is something I strive for each day. Once the connection is made sky's the limit. With that said, laughter is a big part of my life as well when building relationships. If I can learn from a situation and laugh about it later all the better! I can't wait to get outside to bike, hike and try some kayaking (novice for sure). Being active and eating healthy (love to cook and experiment with new foods) have become more of a focal point for me...see ya later Diet Coke and Hello to an unsweet tea with a splash of lemonade. Summer time concerts are always on my must do list - fingers crossed there is a great line up at Wolf-Trap. Jazz in the garden in DC has 2 more of my favorites - Sangria and Jazz. Watching a great baseball game or some college basketball with friends is always fun too. I do enjoy my down time and spending an evening at home provides balance for me with a busy work week. It's funny a red box movie and some great wine and take out is something I look forward to with a great friend or two. I feel its more about who you are with then where you are .... I think that's how the saying goes....
22, Front Royal, VAENTJ! Choleric-Sanguine I'm originally from southern Minnesota. I moved to Virginia to attend a liberal arts college. Majoring in Political Science and minoring in Theology. After I graduate, I plan to attend graduate school to get my Masters in Theology. I love traveling. I've been to New Zealand, Germany, Peru, Ireland, Italy, and Israel. I love politics and current events, as well as history. My favorite periods are the High Middle Ages and the 1920s-1940s. I teach American History and Religion high school classes. I also tutor many subjects. I'm a volunteer big sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters. ATVing, Hiking, Hunting, Fishing, Cooking, Drawing, Painting, Reading, Paintball, Disc Golf, Movies, Guitar. I used to act and sing a lot in high school. So that's something I'm going to make sure my kids will be involved in. I'm a huge socialite. The only time I enjoy being alone is when I'm praying. Even then, I love praying with my friends. I crave the presence of other humans, or I freak out. So I'm constantly hanging out with people. I love adventures. Go on one with me? ;) I love learning. But I hate not using what I've learned. So I often go off on tangents. Partly because that's just my personality, partly because it's about something I think everyone should know about. I LOVE documentation. Which basically means I love taking pictures and filming the crazy adventures my friends and I go on. However, I also know when to put the camera away and just enjoy each moment.
38, Rustburg, VAWoman seeking man to start a relationship, here is my information. LOG minus the letters of "OG" plus the number that is neither positive nor negative plus the variable V plus E equals ME times a COMPANION with the power of two building a future together. If you haven't guessed, I am a math teacher, a middle school teacher at that. I am very passionate about my career and the students that I have taught in the past and the ones that I have currently. Teaching students can be very difficult at times but also rewarding especially when a student looks at you with a smile and says, "I got it, I finally got it!" Besides teaching, I am very passionate about my family. One day, starting a family is also very important to me. By now, I thought that I would have had a family of my own but unfortunately life didn't turn out that way but that hasn't deterred me from hoping that one day it will happen. In fact, the most influential person in my life is my 14 year old nephew. When he was 8 years old, he was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy. This is a disease that affects your muscles from getting stronger and eventually a person with MD will no longer be able to walk. He has been in a wheelchair since he was 12 but yet that doesn't stop him from believing that one day he will be a race car driver. Whenever life is a struggle for me, I always look and think of my nephew and how positive and contagious he can be with just a smile or a laugh. Lastly, being passionate about finding love and sharing that love with someone is something that I am missing from my life. Life gives us blessings and struggles but it is the way you go about those experiences that determines our time on this earth. With the faith, strength, and hope that God gives us, me especially, I hope that one day he will bless me with a spouse that impacts my life just as much as I will impact theirs. If you would like to know more about me, then message me. I look forward to meeting you whoever you may be...

41, Fairfax, VAMy perspective: Does soul mate exist? If you consider that special someone who can laugh and dance with you in the rain, roll with you in the storm and still stand strong and in love, you got yourself a keeper!!!! My match: First it is the chemistry with romance and passion. Then someone who shares each other interests and works toward the common goals in life - family, partnership, enjoying life and spiritual. Isn't that what relationship is all about!?!? :). About me: I am passionate about life in general. My family and my faith are the center of my life. I enjoy traveling, being outdoor, love learning about different cultures, meeting interesting people who have a great sense of humor and enjoy life however as it comes and people who are engaging in conversations - there are so much to learn - it gives you another perspective of life. Inner beauty is priceless. I love music except hard rock or heavy metal...listening to jazz and oldies - Michael Buble, Laura Passini, good old blue eye Frank Sinatra..I love candle light dinner and dance in the moonlight.
60, Fairfax, VAI am passionate about life. I love nature. I saw God o it. I enjoy swimming and camping. My favorite place is at the beach. My parents have been the people that have brought much joy to my life and have been the ones that influence me the most.
33, Arlington, VAHi! I recently moved to Virginia. I love my work, my family and my supportive friends around me. I am a simple woman who enjoys sincere intimate talks, walking around and dining out with friends or alone. I'm pretty independent and self-reliant but sometimes I wish I have someone special to spend time with. I would love to meet you and start a wonderful friendship. They say that if you're friends first, you are more likely to have a successful relationship.
50, Manassas, VAHi! I am looking forward to meeting someone to share new experiences with. I'm passionate about my children and I love my job. I enjoy visiting new places.
54, Arlington, VAI am a Chinese lady.I am very easygoing and outgoing, and I like travelling. I am not good at English, but I am actively learning it. So at this moment, I am only able to communicate with you through mobile translation, hope you won't mind. I am sincerely and honestly looking for a kind and gentle man to enjoy the rest of our lives together.
54, Verona, VAPut others before yourself. - I tell my kids to consider, "Your opinion is not the most important one in the room - Listen." This is something I strive for daily. Other things I find myself saying frequently: Be yourself. Life is far too short for over thinking. Be a nice human. Give. Be kind. There but for the grace of God go I. Stand your ground. What is popular isn't always right - what's right isn't always popular. I want to find that *one* man. I'm not looking to "hook up" and I'm not adverse to dating - it's how we get to know each other, but ultimately, I'm looking for another soul mate, I've been widowed for 13 years - I think its time ;) I am very loyal and devoted with the right man. My interests are eclectic, outdoors, crafts (basket making, hand spinning alpaca yarns from my small herd) cooking, gardening, GOOD conversation, shooting, hiking, wine tasting, cuddling under the stars or by the fire, and absolutely anything to do with the ocean no matter the time of year. I love to laugh, laughter is essential, having a great sense of humor is how we get through life. Have you ever considered that God has a sick sense of humor? I laugh daily at the follies of our humanity. I'm very spiritual and my religion keeps me centered. I'm also very to the point, you'll always know my thoughts, no games, no drama - no time for any of that. Being considerate of other's thoughts, feelings and views is important to me, I have my own opinions but that doesn't mean I'm always right ;). Friends discribe me as honest, generous, thoughtful, loyal, dependable, capable, and determined. I have been blessed beyond measure and believe in giving back. I try hard to "be a nice human". If you're part of my circle you won't go hungry. I know my way around the kitchen - or the grill - if I like you, I feed you. If you're coming for dinner, come hungry! If you had told me 15 years ago that I would be using a computer to create a meaningful connection with another person I would have looked askance and laughed. Yet here I am - (here we are). Send me an email, I'll respond ;) Best of luck in your search for connection and real human contact in this disconnected world! Blessings, Kathy
