I was born and raised Catholic, yet I am continually seeking opportunities to grow in my faith. To be a Catholic is to have hope and to live our life on this earth according to God's Will. My family means the world to me and I have a high regard for their thoughts and opinions. Having 5 sisters, 4 of whom are married, I have lots of nieces and nephews (5 boys, 5 girls!) I love to sing, dance, and laugh and you can find me doing any of these at any given moment throughout the day. I sing in the church choir & the national anthem at different Gonzaga sporting events (Yes, Gonzaga Men's basketball included.) I am a nurse and enjoy working with kids at a pediatric clinic. Pediatric diabetics are my favorite patients. I try to maintain an active lifestyle: working out at home, playing softball, and I recently picked up running. I've done P90X, am considering trying Insanity (even though it's insane!), but will really probably get into Jillian Michael's Body Revolution series.. I am secretly (okay, not so secretly now) a Star Wars & Star Trek fan, and yes, I can tell you the difference between the Vulcans and the Romulans and both home worlds of Luke & Leia Skywalker. **If you have never read the children's book 'I'll Love You Forever' by Robert Munsch, you really should. 'Moo, Baa, La La La!' by Sandra Boynton is pretty good too :o)**

I'm a fun loving, sarcastic, vivacious person with many other great qualities in between! You'll have to wait and see what all the other fun adjectives are that I could describe myself as when we start talking. I know that just boosted your curiosity, so go on. Contact me already! I enjoy being able to stroll along life taking things as they come. My biggest passion in life is living life and not just existing in it. I work at a mental hospital as a mental health technician and I love my job! When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my amazing family. I know, I didn't write friends in there and that's because they are considered my family. I have 7 siblings that all mean the world to me. I'm very much family oriented and would do anything for them. I really enjoy going on hikes, camping, sporting events, concerts and plays. I enjoy a wide variety of activities and there is usually always something I'm up to doing. I've really love going to the gym. I go about 5 days a week and do high intensity weight/cardio exercises on my own, I also dabble in krav maga and boxing. I also participate in different runs and races. This year 2016 I'll be doing a Spartan and a GoRuck! Exercising and eating right (majority of the time) is important to me. I'm currently going to school to get a bachelors degree in exercise science which I'm going to pair that with nutrition. After my degree, I would love to open my own place and have a place where overweight preteens and teens could go to get into shape and to learn about proper eating habits.
  • Maria, 23 from Spokane, WA
    23, Spokane, WA
Oh hey there! My name is Maria. I am a small town girl just looking for her lobster. I am fluent in sarcasm and Friends quotes! Gonzaga University grad and current graduate student. I watch 1 sport and that is GU men's basketball. But I'll support your sport habit as long as it's not hockey... I don't understand that game. I love psychology and the Catholic Church. I'm studying to be a Marriage and Family Therapist but don't let that scare you off! I want to work for the church eventually in some capacity. I want as many kids as God will give me! I love my family and friends and I'm as loyal as a golden retriever! Name any country music song and I'll sing you the whole thing. I have the cutest goddaughter in the entire world and I enjoy being really involved in her life! Let's have an in depth conversation about the mystery of the Eucharist! Just a light conversation.

I'm a cradle Catholic - blessed with a close knit family that includes my parents (still married after 30+ years and going strong), three grandparents, two younger brothers (whose fascination with fire made for some interesting babysitting memories), many cousins, and lots of aunts and uncles. I've always taken my faith seriously and am eternally grateful to God and my parents for instilling in me a desire to stay close to my Heavenly Father. When I was eighteen years old I felt God tugging on my heart to do something more with my faith and so I began teaching a first year catechism class at my parish. There's something truly beautiful about a child's fascination and openness to the divine. Their cute and often insightful questions provided me with ample opportunities to go in search of answers from the Church strengthening my Catholic foundation and appreciation for truth. This experience also brought to light my aptitude and love of teaching. I'm politically and socially conservative despite my liberal arts degree. I like to stay active. My preference is to take dance classes, play sports, or participate in any activity that doesn't require mind-numbingly dull repetitive tasks to stay fit. Case in point, my senior year of college I took three dance classes at the same time: a ballet class, a hip hop class and a hula hoop dance class (yes, that's a thing). I also took a semester of fencing where I discovered that the quietest students were often the most aggressive fighters. I've been on a few adventures, traveling on my own cross-country and to Australia for World Youth Day in 2008. My adventures will continue this summer as I plan on doing some more traveling around the country.

  • Trinity Marie, 39 from Spokane, WA

What am I passionate about? Life, people, relationships, the beauty of God's Creation. I am a social worker by profession, and most recently God has called me to cargiving in my public and private life. I am glad for this opportunity because I believe that this will prepare me to have a family of my own. What I look forward to the most is living each day to the fullest, and to bring joy to others. What experiences and or people that have been most influential to me would be my sister who always taught that God is Love, and to Trust in Jesus. Mother Theresa has also made a profound influence on my life... When I was a child I used to fantasize about working in the Peace Corps in Africa, rather I now try apply small or large works of charity for all people in every area of my life. In my leisure time I enjoy visiting with family and friends, walking my dog, making home made gifts (crocheting, sewing, making jewelery) and baking. I also like to study forigen languages as well as brush up on my social work techniques.

  • Jeanean, 37 from Spokane Valley, WA
    37, Spokane Valley, WA
I am an easy going, friendly girl who is new to Spokane. Moved here for a job and a new start. I love being outside but also know how to enjoy a day at home. I believe it should be illegal to have to work on a beautiful day. I am moving past the phase in my life where going to a bar to meet people is exciting. I can be shy when meeting new people, making the bar scene somewhat of a challenge. My goals in life are to see the world, never take anything or anyone for granted, and to put a smile on someones face everyday. My friends and family are the very important to me. I know that life is short and the unexpected can happen at any time so I cherish every day I have with those I love. I am looking for someone who is honest, caring, likes to have fun and take adventures, and a little crazy. I believe similarities are important but differences in the right areas are what makes life fun and a relationship exciting. I truly enjoy my job and my profession. However, at the end of the day, I work to live (and vacation)...I don't live to work.
  • Annette, 59 from Moses Lake, WA
    59, Moses Lake, WA
Although I attended a Roman Catholic School of Theology for a year, I am not Catholic. I joined the Episcopal Church in 2009 as a transfer from the ELCA (Lutheran) Church. I have two masters degrees, one in Theology and one in Psychology. I am a Licensed Lay Preacher for the Spokane Diocese of the Episcopal Church at St Martin's in Moses Lake. I am also employed at Integrated Health Care Services of Adams County as both a therapist and a Designated Mental Health Professional. I work with both children and adults in counseling and crisis situations as well as detainment to hospitalization for psychiatric reasons. I have no children of my own, but numerous nephews and nieces who have children of their own. My parents are deceased. I see the Eucharist as the focal point of the Mass and participate in the life of worship at St Martin's on a regular basis, missing only to attend Mass at the cathedral in Spokane. I preach every third month at St. Martin's. I enjoy going out for movies or sitting home watching Netflix. My current obsession is with the series, "Call the Midwife." I also enjoy eating out, preferring something I would not normally prepare myself such as sushi and teriyaki or a Roast Beef sandwich at Arby's with horsey sauce. I also enjoy tamales. I enjoy the quiet of a library or a walk in a quiet area away from the city. I grew up on a farm within the city limits so enjoyed the life of a small town as well as 45 acres where I could go to a secluded area for meditation any time I wanted within my chore schedule taking care of the animals or homework. I value the spiritual life and would like someone who values the same.
