35, Spokane, WAUpdate Dec 2014: It's been so long since I've updated this that I'm a little embarassed that I've had such outdated information about myself out there. In our current times and culture one of the ways we initially identify ourselves is through our occupation. I work in college campus ministry and have for the past almost seven years. I knew in college that God had blessed me with a vocational calling to ministry. Over the years that calling has taken several different forms, ultimately leading me to this amazing ministry where I get to walk with amazing young adults during one of the most exciting times of their lives. In addition to being a campus minister I'm a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I'm a woman who knows without a doubt that the best way to live out my relationship with Jesus Christ is by living an authentic Catholic life. While I've lived most of my life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, I've been very blessed to have also lived in and traveled to some pretty amazing places. I have lot of stories, that I love to share, so feel free to ask. A few fun facts: I love the way the air smells right before it begins to rain (also right after it's done raining), I love cooking and entertaining, and in the last year I've developed a great interest in health and fitness (I currently workout 5-6 times a week and I'm very proud of the progress I'm making towards the goals I've set.) My favorite season is fall, I love cold, crisp, sunny days. My favorite non-religious holiday is Thanksgiving, but that's mostly because it signifies the beginning of Advent. I love the season of Advent. Preparing our hearts and minds our families and homes for the coming of Christmas (and Jesus at the end of time) gives me an often needed spiritual shot in the arm. I'm not sure any of these things really tells you who I am, they're really just fun facts about me. Does any of this really you who I am? Probably not. When I think about the question, "who am I," I remember a quote on a small card that a friend of mine gave me several years ago. It says, "Who you are is God's gift to you. Who you become is your gift to God." I guess you could say I'm just a girl trying to be the best gift possible. Thanks for reading my profile and I hope I'll be hearing from you.
53, Spokane, WAI am mother of 4 children aged 16-18. Never a dull moment in our house! I was raised in Catholic church and schools and then spent my twenties and part of my thirties away from the church. I have been divorced (annulled) since my children were young and have been back in the church since about that time. The church and the God I am discovering now seem different from what I remember learning from those nuns. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention, but this time around I really love the Catholic church, sacraments and traditions. I work a lot so my favorite companions in my time off used to be my kids. They are growing older and their favorite companion doesn't seem to be me anymore!
54, Spokane, WAI am a women who know what she wants in life and working on my way to getting there. I love dancing i think the way to really know a person is through the way they dance. I am out going fun loving caring person. I am honest and loyal and would want the man i'm with to be the same way in return. I love my family they are important to me. I love having family fun night with family and friends, it gives us time together and to have fun and laugh and spending time with each makes me happy.
32, Mead, WAI'm a fun loving, sarcastic, vivacious person with many other great qualities in between! You'll have to wait and see what all the other fun adjectives are that I could describe myself as when we start talking. I know that just boosted your curiosity, so go on. Contact me already! I enjoy being able to stroll along life taking things as they come. My biggest passion in life is living life and not just existing in it. I work at a mental hospital as a mental health technician and I love my job! When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my amazing family. I know, I didn't write friends in there and that's because they are considered my family. I have 7 siblings that all mean the world to me. I'm very much family oriented and would do anything for them. I really enjoy going on hikes, camping, sporting events, concerts and plays. I enjoy a wide variety of activities and there is usually always something I'm up to doing. I've really love going to the gym. I go about 5 days a week and do high intensity weight/cardio exercises on my own, I also dabble in krav maga and boxing. I also participate in different runs and races. This year 2016 I'll be doing a Spartan and a GoRuck! Exercising and eating right (majority of the time) is important to me. I'm currently going to school to get a bachelors degree in exercise science which I'm going to pair that with nutrition. After my degree, I would love to open my own place and have a place where overweight preteens and teens could go to get into shape and to learn about proper eating habits.
56, Medical Lake, WAI'm a liberal Catholic and a prolife democrat. I love volunteering at my parish church where I am surrounded with friends that help strengthen my faith in God. Learning the history fascinates me. I love how we don't only have the bible but we also have tradition. The fact that we don't take the bible literally is important to me. I'd like to meet someone who will help deepen my faith.
38, Clarkston, WAHi! I'm Sara, an easy going, down to earth gal who loves God, my family and friends and to laugh and enjoy life. I enjoy the simple things in life; meaningful relationships with good people, a mountain sunrise, the satisfaction that comes from a hard days work, and giving more than receiving. I was fortunate to grow up in the country with a loving set of parents and a great brother and sister. My Dad taught me early in life the value of hard work and a love for nature that has guided many choices throughout my life. I now work as a Natural Resources Professional and have enjoyed a career that has let me see sunrises from mountain tops throughout the western U.S. and Alaska. I feel closest to God when I am in nature, surrounded by the beauty and peacefulness it offers. God has always given me the desire to be a wife and mother. My Mom is a living example of how I want to nurture, love, and embrace the gift of having children. I've always loved kids and when at family gatherings I can usually be found giving piggy back rides, wrestling, or goofing off with the little ones! I hope to find a man who embraces the thought of being a husband, father, and faithful leader of the family. I think sharing the same morals, values and faith are paramount for having and raising a family. I believe respect is a cornerstone for a successful marriage - respecting each other despite differing views and opinions that are bound to arise during a marriage. I hope to find someone to pray with, to walk through this life with, who like me strives to grow in faith and better themselves, and to participate in life as an active Christian. I love the Inter-mountain Northwest and the western U.S in general. I love any outdoor activity, especially hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, boating and exploring. I strive to stay active and fit so I can enjoy my pursuits, but also so I can keep up with a busy life when God blesses me with a husband and kids :) I would describe myself as a fun-loving, outgoing, and low maintenance type of gal. I'm not afraid to be myself - I prefer boots and jeans to dresses and heels, and a steak and beer over a white tablecloth and wine dinner. God bless the man who embraces this :) Feel free to send me a message, yes this internet thing is a bit impersonal for everyone but I hope that doesn't stop you from saying hi! SARA :)
27, Spokane, WAI'm an east coast transplant who moved to Spokane on a whim 3-1/2 years ago. My dog, Gretzky, is my roommate, my hiking partner, and favorite driving buddy. I've been known to spend Friday or Saturday nights at home in sweatpants curled up with a good book or latest knitting project. At the same time, I'm always up for an adventure or a night out on the town! I look for the good in every person and every situation. I love talking about the bigger questions of life. I am interested in just about everything, constantly picking up new hobbies and reading books. I believe in journals, hugs, and handwritten notes.
30, Spokane, WAHello! I'm not quite sure what to put here but apparently I have to put something. A friend of mine found her husband on this site so maybe mine is here too? Only God knows. Haha. I'm pretty friendly so feel free to say hello. :)
28, Spokane, WAI grew up in a small town in Eastern Washington. I'm a teacher so when I'm not at school I enjoy reading, cooking, watching the Gonzaga Bulldogs, and spending time outdoors. In the summer you can find me at my family's lake property or spending time with friends. While I love traveling and being outdoors, I equally love being at home and relaxing.
37, Spokane Valley, WAI am an easy going, friendly girl who is new to Spokane. Moved here for a job and a new start. I love being outside but also know how to enjoy a day at home. I believe it should be illegal to have to work on a beautiful day. I am moving past the phase in my life where going to a bar to meet people is exciting. I can be shy when meeting new people, making the bar scene somewhat of a challenge. My goals in life are to see the world, never take anything or anyone for granted, and to put a smile on someones face everyday. My friends and family are the very important to me. I know that life is short and the unexpected can happen at any time so I cherish every day I have with those I love. I am looking for someone who is honest, caring, likes to have fun and take adventures, and a little crazy. I believe similarities are important but differences in the right areas are what makes life fun and a relationship exciting. I truly enjoy my job and my profession. However, at the end of the day, I work to live (and vacation)...I don't live to work.
19, Colfax, WA"Lucky for you my class balances out my sass..." One of my favorite things is baseball. I love talking about it, watching it and over-analyzing every play. I have been around it my whole life because my dad coaches and all my brothers play. Speaking of brother, I have three, and a sister. In leisure time I cook, swim, I love to read
