I would describe myself as quiet but strong and fun-loving. My sources of strength are first of all, Jesus and His Mother, then the special people in my life: family and friends; nature, music and lots of interests. I enjoy walking/hiking, exploring nature as well as interesting cities; travel, dancing, kayaking, reading, studying, watching a good movie, attending plays, musical events. I live on the Pacific NW coast and love the water, but farm land really stirs my heart! I am a veterinarian, but am now teaching full-time in our community college. I have raised horses and cattle and last, but not least, a wonderful son who is now working at his own career, married with 3 young, adorable children, and living in Austin, Texas.

I love to travel - it opens up such a diverse variety of experiences and educational oportunities - whether for work or for pleasure. Whenever I can find someone to travel with or visit, I try to make it happen. My Faith, my family and my home are important to me. Since my children are raised and in successful careers, I spend much of my free time gardening and taking care of my home. I was married for 34 years, so much of this responsiblity is new to me, but I'm learning fast. It was a very hard decision to make, but I'm pretty sure it was the right one. My faith is important to me, so I relied on it through it all. I also love to read - all genres of literature and will read the newpaper cover to cover on the weekends, if weather permits, with a cup of coffee on my back deck. I enjoy spending time at home, but an evening out at least once a week is a must - a movie, a play, wine tasting, visiting with friends, a fine meal, even a walk on the trail. I would like to meet someone to be a friend, first, and to enjoy life with - life's too short to spend it alone. It would be ideal to meet someone who shares my beliefs and my faith - to be able to share all the blessings that God has given me

It seems to me about the most important thing in life is how you treat people. I value integrity and honesty and was lucky to have good examples in and guidance from my parents. I converted to Catholism from Protestantism in my early 20s, and my faith is very important to me. I like to learn, am creative, and like to improve myself. That said, I also like to watch movies and TV. I'm a vegetarian who doesn't always like vegetables. I love animals, have two cats, and have recently inherited two parakeets. It's been the most exciting thing to happen to my cats in a long time.

I enjoy exercising and taking long walks as well as ballroom dancing. I also enjoy gourmet cooking and taking cooking classes. Family is very important to me. I look forward to traveling and exploring Europe. I have been to Brussels and Strasberg, France. I'm looking for honesty, integrity, open communication and a sense of humor and someone who enjoys life to the fullest! Someone who is transparent and not afraid to be totally honest. I'm open to marriage but looking for someone that wants to be my friend first.

I am considered to be a young-ish, outgoing, and adventuresome woman. I count my sense of responsibilty as one of my best qualities followed by honesty, loyalty, and compassion. I have a passion for life-long learning. I love the pace of life; my "adopted family" and friends have been my support through difficult times. My favorite activities include Bible study, volunteering for causes I support, entertaining, cooking, gardening, hiking, getting in/staying in shape, and travel. I'd like very much to meet a man who shares similar values, interests and would like to share life's adventures.

I am #3 of 12 children. Was married 30 years in the church but divorced now. I have an annulment. My 2 living children, both happily married and in the service, have 6 grandchildren between them, ages 3-12. I'm a cradle Catholic and enjoy being with people. I had a religious gift shop when I lived in Oregon (54 years) and crave to have one again. Love the outdoors, walking in the rain, walking on the beach with sand between my toes, coffee, wildflowers, dafne, tulips, daffodils and roses. I enjoy decorating my home and my flower beds, sewing, making quilts, dolls and making floral arrangements be they swags, centerpieces or hair decorations. I love my parents, my brothers and sisters, my children, and my grandchildren. I love Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, the 4th of July and my birthday. I have a few real friends, and a lot of possible friends. I enjoy making things, I make them for friends, gifts and sale. I have entered many things in the Cowlitz County Fair two years now. The first year I entered 12 items and got 11 blue ribbons and one red. this year I entered 13 things and got 10 blue ribbons, 1 red and 2 white.

Hi there, I am passionate about my Catholic faith and helping a team of volunteers provide winter overnight shelter for people without homes during the coldest winter months. I love to dance and go to movies and other venues. I am a retiree from a Fortune 500 company where I worked for 35 years. My husband of 30 years passed about three years ago. I'm not real comfortable exploring this process but I thought I would "put my toe in the water" so to speak. I do value my faith so sharing time with someone else who values their Catholic faith seems like a "win-win". I stay pretty busy helping to run the homeless shelter program but I do miss having someone to go to movies with, dance with, etc.

Most Passionate About/Look Forward to the Most: I am most passionate about my family and my faith and enjoy time spent with each. As a resent Protestant convert I thank our Lord for leading me to St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Tacoma and continue to be amazed at the ever increasing blessings that I have experienced there. This has been especially powerful and comforting following the death of my husband last year. Also important to me are dear friends, staying physically active and being of service to others whenever possible. Influential People and Experiences: Throughout my life I have been fortunate to have many mentors who have encouraged and guided me. In turn, I have served as a mentor to children and families through my work in schools. The pattern of my life has been woven with many precious threads. A formative experience happened at age 9 when I fell off a dock and hit my head on a concrete block. I was unable to swim and drifted under the dock. Miraculously, when help arrived, my unconscious body was on the dock and I was revived. I have always believed that God saved me that day. My heart has held this as the first miracle in my life and a clear message that my Heavenly Father is with me and has a plan for my life. My life has had clear chapters varying remarkably from one another. Each has presented its own dock and subsequent miracles. Each has brought me closer to touching the hand of Christ. The most significant was 22 years with my late husband and the blended family we created. We celebrated our unique qualities as truly best friends. I love sharing life and believe that it is possible once again. I enjoy step aerobics, TRX and walking at Chambers Bay or along the Pt. Defiance sea wall. Also, live performances, time with friends, eating out, reading, Bible study, Orcas Island and playing games with grandchildren. For many years, boating was the most important leisure time/vacation activity. There is nothing better than a beautiful day on the hook, a good book in hand, and bombardment of the senses with the beauty of Gods natural world. So many options in this area; all better shared with someone special. In retirement and a new chapter in my life, I am looking forward to taking both piano and dancing lessons. Perhaps you are the man to help me dust off my dancing shoes.

I'm very passionate about family, staying active and healthy, and my faith. I'm very close to my only son and his family. We travel and enjoy special times together. God first and family second in my book. Finding the right individual who can share in family, laughter, having fun and exploring new things together would be awesome. I look forward to keeping healthy, travel to new and old places with friends and family or that special someone. My experience with life is that we are put here on this earth to be good Christians and to enjoy every moment that God gives us. I have lost two husbands during my last 68 years. One at the age of 27 through a tragic airplane accident and the second through cancer after being married almost 30 years. The words "Life is so Short" is so very right. I've enjoyed traveling to different places and would like to continue traveling to warmer places. I enjoy reading, music, concerts, plays, and dancing when I can. I love riding my bike and taking walks. I'm financially independent and looking for someone in the same situation. I'm a positive person, love life, and I'm spontaneous. I volunteer and like giving back to my community. I hope someone out there is waiting for me to enjoy laughter, travel, quiet times, conversation and companionship..

I was always passionate about many things during my life time. Some passions faded, some disappeared, some stay vibrant till today.I am passionate about my faith and about my family , which I think, is very natural. I am very passionate about nature from the magnificent mountains to the smallest insects and grasses.People are as much important as my faith, family and nature. I am fascinated by deep connections , friendships and emotions between us as humans. The person who made the biggest impact in my life was my father. The most important events which shaped me the way I am were my first communion, birth of my son, death of my beloved father and my immigration to USA. In my free time I like to go hiking, riding my bicycle, reading books, playing bridge and spending time with my family and friends.
