65, Yakima, WAHi!. I am a traditional Irish Catholic who grew up in a happy, loving home, the youngest of three daughters. I care deeply about my faith, my family and dear friends. I am loyal and thoughtful to others. I am passionate about the cause of pro-life and other issues in which I believe. I am a hopeless romantic and tend to be conservative in politics. I enjoy reading, going out for dinner, day trips and travel. I love walking along the beach, kicking through fall leaves or exploring new cities. I have a sense of humor. I am a former newspaper reporter who now does freelance writing. I believe that, even when times are tough, it's important to try to remain upbeat, to believe. I am slender, because I watch what I eat and walk for exercise almost every day. People have thought I'm younger than my actual age. And, oh yes, my chocolate chip cookie bars are a legend in their own time!
62, Tacoma, WAI am passionate about my family and my career, although I do look forward to retirement in 6-7 years. My children have been the most influential people in my life. It has been a wonderful journey raising them and it seems to have been a successful one. I enjoy reading, road trips, walks and shopping in my leisure time.
36, Vancouver, WAI enjoy the simple things in life, count my blessing, and am thankful for the good times and the crosses I've bared. All experiences have helped shaped who I am and what I aspire to accomplish.
47, Seattle, WAI am passionate about my faith and about life. I am an outgoing, loving, and joyful person who loves relationship and finding kindred spirits. My life has been transformed through my immersion in the horse world and having my own horse. I love the outdoors and riding in the deep forests. I am amiable, intelligent, communicative, and affectionate. I love the true faith with my whole soul, have a deep devotion to Mary, and to the Holy Spirit.
52, Port Townsend, WAI am a very patient, calm and spiritual person with many diverse interests. I love to learn, am curious, adventurous and flexible. I also posses a good sense of humor, am loyal, intelligent, nurturing and compassionate. I am not competitive except when playing sports! I love to eat great food and enjoy cooking for others rather than myself. I eat mostly organic foods and limit exposure to chemicals and pesticides in my living environment. I have traveled a lot and would like to do more in the future. However, I am enjoying living a simple life in one of the most beautiful parts of the United States. I have an American Bulldog who thinks he is a small lap dog and he is very gentle and sweet. We go almost everywhere together and he is the best snuggle bug you could ask for. I love to read and enjoy the classics and historical fiction. I also read other genre depending on the author and subject matter. Jane Austen, Diana Galbadon and Charles Dickens are a few of my favorites. I am a lover of the performing arts and love watching good films. I would like to take English Country dance lessons and learn to Waltz. I also want to start kayaking and take martial arts classes.
30, Spokane, WAHello! I'm not quite sure what to put here but apparently I have to put something. A friend of mine found her husband on this site so maybe mine is here too? Only God knows. Haha. I'm pretty friendly so feel free to say hello. :)
29, Bellevue, WANote: I know my temperament test says I'm a choleric sanguine, but I've got a hefty dose of melancholy in there too. I think I was just having one of my saucy days when I took that test. For followers of MBTI, I'm a INTP. I'm a fun and intellectual person who enjoys all kinds of heady conversations. I am particularly interested in: literature as a means of influencing culture, the power of stories, the similarities between the political far right and far left, how to communicate Catholic truth to non-Catholics (Natural Law, etc.), caring for and educating youth, history, sustainable agriculture, and the beauty of the natural world. I feel very driven in my life to make a positive difference, which is mainly taking the shape of writing and establishing intentional agrarian Catholic communities. Regardless of whether we get together romantically, if you have any experience with such a community you should message me. I'd love to hear about what worked and what didn't! Something you should know right off the bat about me is that I have Fibromyalgia, which basically means I have low energy. Sometimes it's not something anyone would notice, and other times it's a very big deal - it just depends on how much stress I'm facing. I've been addressing it from multiple aspects of my life, and have made some progress, but it's a journey and one that requires flexibility and lots of understanding from other people in my life. However, this condition does not define me or prevent me from contributing to the world in meaningful ways, it just changes the dynamics a bit and forces me to have good self-care and not be a martyr. So if you're looking for someone who will be your mom and do everything for you, look elsewhere. I am totally open to discussing this more in the context of a relationship, but be aware that I can give very few absolutes on it since, as a condition, it is still very poorly understood, and my own personal experience with it fluctuates. I'm a fan of meeting in person fairly soon after connecting online, in part because I think there is something really special about what happens when two people meet "in the flesh" and partly because I try to circumvent my propensity for endless browsing on websites, including CM, by not being on them.
