27, Kenosha, WIMy motto is: the sweetest joys in life are gained from giving. I strive to make others happy, to work with passion, consistency, and a cheerful attitude. Faith, family, and friends are at the absolute core of my life. I'm an outrageous nerd, enjoying everything from literature to biology, BBC television to superhero and sci-fi films. Reading, traveling, writing, theatre, working out, and exploring new places or meeting new people are only a handful of my interests. I'm the type of gal who enjoys a night out in Milwaukee or Chicago with a small group of friends, or a silent Friday evening before the Blessed Sacrament; the kind of girl who can throw on a Captain America shirt and cook up some hearty risotto after a long day. Still a green girl, but I love life and embrace the trials and triumphs with which God chooses to bless me!
56, Sussex, WII am a happy, fun-loving, outgoing person.I enjoy cooking, traveling and being outdoors. I am looking forward to meeting someone to share my life with.
31, Burlington, WIHello! First and foremost, I am passionate about my faith and my relationship with Christ; I don't know where I'd be without it. God likes to take me on adventures which always turns out to be life changing experiences. I come from a fairly large Italian family(2nd oldest of 7) and I wouldn't have it any other way. One of my brothers got married last year and now have the most beautiful niece in the entire world...not that I am biased or anything. :) My parents are absolutely amazing and have been married for 30 years. I had the opportunity to study abroad for a semester and was consumed by the travel bug. I wish I could travel more but that just isn't possible right now I love adventure, laughter, music, Adoration, puddle jumping, hiking, volleyball, Liturgy of the Hours, and anything that has to do with the outdoors. I am and always will be a child at heart. I am a country girl. I did not grow up on a farm and I have ridden a horse once in my life BUT I did grow up surrounded by farms and I love everything about it. The openness, the quiet, the beauty, THE STARS... I feel closest to God and most at peace when I am surrounded by His creation. I work for the Catholic Church and love every minute of it.
60, Jackson, WIWell Guys, I'm a little heavier than I would like to be, that's a work in progress. That being said, I am a KInd, Loving, Caring, Passionate, Honest, Trustful, Faithful, Sassy, Fun, Simple, Spontaneous, Money can't buy everything, Never forget Me kinda person. I've brought up 6 beautiful, and loving children. I have 16 Grandchildren so far. I love life. I feel I am still young and healthy enough to give myself to somebody Special again. I have been a Widow for seven years now. Married for 32 years with the same man. I am ready and waiting for a new exciting fun loving life again with the right person.
74, Oconomowoc, WII am passionate about family, especially spending time with my grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Family get togethers are very important to me. My visit to the Vatican was an influential experience for me! I love concerts, plays, travel, biking, baking.
55, Greendale, WII look forward to those peaceful moments when all the concerns of the work day are set aside. Hanging around the house can be nice, but when the weather is good, I look for excuses to be outside walking, gardening, taking a bike ride, eating out with friends at a restaurant with a patio. Anyone who knows me, knows I love "a view". I'd like to read more, but by the time I sit down to read, the eye lids start coming down after the first few pages. Listening to interesting speakers and getting out in a crowd now and then (State Fair, etc.) can be fun. My Christian friends have been such a positive influence and support in my life, especially at a time when it seems the culture and political climate is turning against God, religious freedom, and other things this country stood for.
25, Cedarburg, WISaint Joseph, Most loving husband and Pillar of families, pray for us. Jesus is the Source of my joy. Every day I desire to live His love, bringing His Life to those who still hunger for Him in the tomb. My first Love is Christ. Every day is a Truth-seeking adventure, and that calling to union with Christ requires assistance. I have always been drawn to the sacrament of Holy Matrimony for its purpose to sanctify not just one, but the two becoming one in a covenant with God. A covenant meant to refine, drawing the two closer and closer to their God. I have found that as strong as the desire is to know, love, and serve Our Lord, I stand in need of a helper, someone who is going to run the race alongside me and hold my arms up as the good fight is fought. Someone to encourage me in becoming that sought after proverbial woman. I enjoy being creative! My outlets are generally music, painting, and writing. I taught myself to play the piano and ukelele, and frequently use the talent to write music. When I'm in touch with my creative side, it's always with a mind to glorify my God and bring hope to my neighbor. I try to see the world in different ways, embracing who God made me specifically, navigating through thoughts and circumstance in my own way - and I'm all about details! I'm not quite a bookworm (though I do aspire to it), however, I do love to read when I get the chance! I enjoy reading about the Saints and holy things as much as I enjoy a good fiction novel. If I can learn something from it, I appreciate it. I am involved with the young adult group at my parish, and enjoy the opportunity to be apart of ministries that will help grow the parish. I strive to be joyful in every situation. I've gained a lot from those Saints who have taught joy in suffering, especially Mother Teresa. Though I love deep thinking and writing up eloquent words, I speak very simply, and often fumble over my words. Laughing comes easy. Often, I try to stifle ongoing, borderline inappropriate giggles. To put it bluntly, if your sense of humor is lacking, you probably won't like me. I am insufferable. But I do enjoy meeting people and having conversations, so if you'd like to get to know each other better, let's talk! Saint Joseph, Mirror of patience, pray for us.
20, Kenosha, WIHello! Coming from a large family, the Catholic Faith has always been a huge part of my life. There is so much to explore in the Faith, that I am excited to keep growing. Making trips to Adoration is what I look forward to in the weeks. Simply kneeling before the presence of the Lord allows me to take a step back from the world to listen and pray to Him. I am currently pursuing degrees in Music Performance and Communications in hopes that I can incorporate music into my career. However, raising a family is one of my main goals. Twice a month, I play the violin for cancer patients at a cancer treatment center. I love every single minute of it. Knowing that I am using music to ease people fulfills my purpose in playing for the greater glory of God. Growing up in Alaska was a prime time of my life. There was the occasional, 'Mom, I can't walk to school, there's a moose in our driveway.' Everyday was definitely different in it's own unique way.
56, Milwaukee, WIHi I'm a retired MPS teacher. I retired early due to my vision. I can see, but wear glasses and struggle in the sunlight. I I love being retired. I like to dabble in the stock market and often have the business channel on during the day. I was once a computer geek, but now just like technology. I enjoy going out to lunch and happy hours with close friends and am very close to my parents as well as my siblings and nieces and nephews. Music is an important part of my daily routine. I like several genres. I enjoy watching movies at home with a home cooked meal and someone special by my side. I love playing games board and card games.
56, Brookfield, WIFaith, family, and friends are most important to me. I am passionate about many things, but my work (which is my calling), would be on the top of my list. I love helping people. Baking, walking outdoors, and family gatherings are definitely on my list as well. I look forward to holidays with friends and family, especially seeing my daughters. We enjoy being creative; decorating cookies, Easter eggs, carving pumpkins, etc.!! Even making costumes for halloween and the renaissance fair! We all have so many people who influence us, but I would have to say that my maternal grandparents and my Mother have been my role models. They are/were very devout in their faith. My Grandmother was especially full of peace throughout any situation because of her trust in God. I love going to antique/consignment/thrift stores! I find working in the yard/flowers relaxing. Attending or just watching sports is fun. Also like going to movies and out to an occasional nice dinner. Now that I have more time, I have become a lover of inspirational books including a small group bible study.
75, Greenfield, WIMy husband of 48 years died last April. We were both active in our parish church, St. Marys in Hales Corners but I have to admit that I am becoming more dissatisfied with their very liberal attitue. Iwas lucky enough to have the sweetest dog at my side for the padt seven years and she has been a Godsend in the past year. Always have been a dog person and Holly is dog #7 for me. My sons are respectively 45 and 46. One lives in Chicago and is an artistic director of a Gay/Lesbian theater and the other lives in the area. Neither are married and I have no grandchildren. Ienjoy our summers with all the festivals and also love to travel. Don't exercise as often as I used to but am a water aerobic instructor at a local club.
19, Union Grove, WII love to hunt, fish, and go mudding. I want to be able to trust someone and them be my best friend. I talk on the phone the most because you get to know someone on a better level. I'm influenced by my mom because she is the strongest person I know and is the Catholic in my family. Trust Communication Honesty
