A quiet person who would love to share life with a man who loves the Lord. I love the outdoors, especially walking through the woods, or near streams and lakes.

"I am not a cloud - to be rain danced daily, nor a mountain - to be climbed because I'm there - I am a rainbow - that happens - sometimes in your light." I came across this poem in a journal from my college days and I like it now as much as I did then. I'm a lively optimistic person. I've moved back from the UK 4 years ago - after 15 years of living and working there. (I have dual citizenship). I briefly lived in the Philadelphia area before moving on to the Milwaukee area in April 2010 for a new job. This puts me in the same time zone as my large family in Minnesota. I have a wonderful family and circle of friends plus a successful (and demanding) career. What would make my life complete is that special someone. II enjoy taking walks (with my camera usually in tow) ... a good bottle of wine and lounging by the fireplace is also a treat. I do enjoy going to a spa with friends ...and of course travel. I sail, have had a photography business and love animals and gardening... My former husband has passed away (we had divorced nearly 20 years ago) making me a widow. My faith is important to me so that is why I'm signing up here to meet someone for friendship and perhaps more?! I am an active member of the church choir and also do volunteer work.

Hi Nice to meet you. I have been off the site for a while, making another try @ a new phase in my life . I live on Southern Milwaukee County I retired recently and trying to find my way in this new adventure, I will work one day per week for awhile though, just to keep my skills up and to do something I really enjoy; I did give myself a retirement gift - a trip to Mexico. While I really enjoyed that experience I have not seen much of our own country and would like to do that. However travel with someone to share the experience would be much more meaningful I love animals and have 2 dogs which are part of my package at this time. I do have 5 sons, grown and married (at least 4 of 5 are married); The are independent put obviously a strong part of my life. I hope to learn new things as well, even took golf lessons this past summer I have started to do some volunteering as well with my church food pantry and MADACC

My church is important to me. I sing in the choir, distribute Eucharist, lector and volunteer. I also run our church Food Pantry. I like getting together with friends. My parents were my greatest influence. I enjoy ballroom dancing and I belong to a 12 member formation team. I also like biking, hiking, reading, travel, and movies.

I look forward to meeting an honest person. Someone to spend time with and getting to know and enjoy doing things together I have many grandchildren who make me smile but three years after husbands gone is enough time to grieve. I guess leisure time could be doing anything

I retired last June and am trying to decide WHERE to retire to! I left Idaho and am in WI with my oldest son and his family. I volunteer two days a week at my grandchildren's school and do a little subbing. I do enjoy working with the kids and sometimes miss having my own classroom. I also like to exercise, read, walk, and cook! I am looking forward to doing some traveling. I love spending time with my grandkids and kids. I I enjoy different types of music and, since living in Idaho, I even enjoy pop country....Lady Antebellum, Blake Shelton, etc. I am looking for a friend who enjoys getting out and enjoying life.

Always smiling, a non-smoker, and comfortable in any setting. From casual jeans to a skirt and blouse. I find it easy to make friends and make an effort to keep in touch with the close ones. I am both passionate, compassionate and a good listener. Open communication, sharing thoughts, emotions, interests and objections. Through the goods times and some wishing for better. But, more importantly, understanding and supporting each other through life's adventures. I'm confident enough to be the first to laugh at myself and compassionate enough to be the first to help another being laughed at . . . throw in a positive attitude, intelligence, good conversation and a fun sense of humor! I like to laugh and have fun. I also enjoy wine tasting, festivals, parties, outdoor cafes, music, sports, walks along the beach, movies, evening fires outdoors, holding hands. I'll try anything at least once and sometimes twice if it will make you happy.

My husband of 48 years died last April. We were both active in our parish church, St. Marys in Hales Corners but I have to admit that I am becoming more dissatisfied with their very liberal attitue. Iwas lucky enough to have the sweetest dog at my side for the padt seven years and she has been a Godsend in the past year. Always have been a dog person and Holly is dog #7 for me. My sons are respectively 45 and 46. One lives in Chicago and is an artistic director of a Gay/Lesbian theater and the other lives in the area. Neither are married and I have no grandchildren. Ienjoy our summers with all the festivals and also love to travel. Don't exercise as often as I used to but am a water aerobic instructor at a local club.

I'm a widow of 2 years who is moving on in life to meet new people and see interesting places. I sing on two choirs in my church which has been a savior during the critical two years of my life. I enjoy my friends and love to learn to do new things. I also have many hobbies: music, good movies, reading, machine embroidery, gardening etc.... I haven't been to plays for a while, but I would love to begin attending them as well. Traveling through different countries has opened my eyes to beautiful people and the places they live in. It's important to realize that we all have our own journey in life. My motto is to not to be myopic but to forgive, forget, love and move on.
