I guess you could say I'm passionate about health & fitness. Its so interesting to learn what we eat affects our health. Lifting weights helps a person stay strong as we age. The person I am seeking would be into health & fitness as well. But also enjoy a glass of wine on special occasions. Attending Mass is important...along with reading & searching for new insights on my spiritual journey. I love decorating with antiques or unusual items to create a beautiful outdoor living space. Long walks in the woods or park like setting is one of my favorite things to do when weather permits. My granddaughter was hospitalized for almost a year...that experience helped me to realize how important it is to give back. Volunteering at the local hospital is my way of saying thank you to the nurses, child life specialists and others for working so tirelessly taking care of everyones children. My children are grown and on their own. We check-in with each other on a regular basis especially since their father has passed away 4 1/2 yrs ago. I'm so proud of my kids and how they stepped up to the plate in helping to care for their father. We all took shifts to give him round the clock care until his passing. I am 1 of eleven children raised on a farm. This has definitely taught me to appreciate the land, animals & nature. At one point I owned and operated my own farm...It was a famiIy adventure. Opened the farm every fall to the public. I love to go to Christian rock concerts. There are so many talented artists. Switch Foot is one of my favorites. I love seeing a great movie for the first time in a theater. This fall was one of the most beautiful I have seen in a while...the colors were fabulous! There are several wineries in Central Wis. ...a great place to enjoy the colorful fall scenery with a great glass of wine. I enjoy day trips checking out historical communities. I am now semi retired and this has opened up more opportunities to travel. Just came back from Houston July 2012 and am ready to plan my next trip to visit my brother in San Diego.

I just returned (9/16) from my son's wedding in Germany. All three of my children were married in the last 16 months, all in Catholic churches! My two daughters, their husbands and my ex-husband and I were all able to attend the wedding in Germany. One daughter is pregnant. It has been a busy and happy time. My recent trip has inspired me to get out and explore. I am no longer a member of Catholic Match, but will participate in the Fall Colors Trip in southern Wisconsin in 10/16. I look forward to meeting new people, touring Amish country and sharing Mass with everyone. I like the arts, being outdoors, sunshine, strong coffee, talking with friends, pretty things, social justice. I am a good person who has sought to live an authentic, honest life. Love science fiction books and movies; Netflix is the best! I am a licensed psychotherapist who works with children, couples, individuals and families. I have worked hard to build, then rebuild, a unique and balanced life. It's a keeper. I also own a business unrelated to my profession. I'm in the planning stages for writing a history book. I married at age 24 and was divorced at age 39. My children are all in their 20s. I have had one deeply serious relationship since my divorce. I graduated from college at age 22 w/a degree in journalism, was a newspaper editor and reporter in three states for 21 years. I was accepted into graduate school at age 43 and became licensed several years later. My right arm is disabled due to a car crash in 1999; I have grown so comfortable with that I forget I'm disabled.

I lost my husband of 37 years in 2006. I enjoy reading, gardening, going for walks, motorcycle rides, and attending live concerts. Would love to do some traveling. Have 5 grown children, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Have lived in the country for 44 years and love the outdoors.

I love dancing, anything from line dancing to mazurkas, from polkas to waltzes. I enjoy camping and gardening, going for walks, bike rides. Motorcycles are a thrill! I like swimming and boating. My son-in-law taught me fly-fishing on my last trip to Montana. I'm not afraid to bait my own hook or take the fish off the hook. Or I might just read a book or knit while my fishing partner lands the entre. ;-) I am a member of a chamber choir in town, and I sing and play my guitar in a folk choir for Mass. I love to perform in musicals in our local historical theater, and I have also performed in a group that does Peter, Paul and Mary type singing. Lots of fun! I come from a large family, and we get together fairly often. Three of my 4 children are married and through them I have 9 grandchildren. They are indeed blessings. I'm a pretty laid back person. I don't get upset about much - it isn't worth the energy. I enjoy having get togethers at my house and play games - indoor or out. I enjoy children - Before I retired, I worked at an elementary school, and the favorite part of my job was caring for children when they come into the office needing help with injuries or illnesses. I was married for 31 years, and after my husband's death from cancer in 2008, I have learned how important it is to go through life with a thankful heart for what God has given me. I have become stronger in my faith and wish to continue to grow in it.

I'm passionate about living my faith everyday. I look forward to meeting a Catholic man who knows and believes in the teachings of the C. Church. Someone who will be committed, faithful, loving, communicative, understanding, has a sense of humor. The people most influential and shaped my life were my parents by the faith they lived and passed on to us as children. A few friends who were there through my divorce and raising my daughter's alone. And a very good friend who has been there through the last 6 years with me. She has taught me a lot about living and totally trusting God. I enjoy road trips, reading, spending time with family and friends, sailing, hiking, The Word. I enjoy life and hope to share love, hopes, sorrows and good times with a good man.

Each day that I have lived, has been a continuous learning experience. I am grateful for the happy and wonderful times, and for the sad and painful ones too, My faith in God has given me the strength to move forward. My marriage was happy and successful, because we shared the same faith and values. We were blessed with two daughters, and five grandchildren. While I enjoy my alone time, I would rather not be alone all the time.

My faith is extremely important to me. After that, I try to be very conscious about taking care of my physical being, both as far as exercising regularly and also eating healthy most of the time. I am a mother of 5, a grandmother of 10 and a great grandmother of 3 and family means a lot to me. We probably don't see each other often enough, but when we do, we always have a great time together. As for my leisure time, I enjoy going out for lunch or dinner, going to plays and/or concerts and I love music - mostly swing or big band, but a little country also. I used to be a pretty good alto sax player and now I still occasionally get out my sax and play, which I still enjoy. I come from a very musical family and would hope anyone I would be matched up with, would also appreciate music. I have done some traveling, but would like to do more. As far as cooking is concerned, I consider myself a pretty decent cook, but don't always enjoy cooking, now that I'm by myself. As for desserts, I enjoy making cheesecakes more than anything, and I've made many different kinds. My family considers that my specialty, but I think that's still up for debate. People who have a positive attitude and good sense of humor are some of the people who have a good influence on me. Also, someone like Drew Marianni on Relevant Radio has had a good influence on me because he not only preaches good things, he lives a good life. At this point, I think I look forward to getting together with different members of my family more than anything, especially if there is a special family gathering. Each of my family has a sense of humor that is very entertaining, and they all play off each other's lines when they are together. Of course, I am a Packer fan.

Hi..I am a creative soul...who loves anything fairs...craft shows. I do watercolor and paper crafts although practical things have put that more on a back burner than I would like. I went to a catholic grade school but they had to close the high school and I ended up studying art in a senior public high school. Music and art have always been my passions. I also am passionate about animals. I have no pets currently but love dogs, cats, and even some! Mother Teresa has had a major impact on my life. I worked for her Spiritual Advisor for some years and got to speak with her on the telephone. There have been others as well..I learn from every person I meet. I try not to judge and accept people where they are. I try to see the positive in things although have been prone to discouragement when troubles pop up. I considered the convent and was in my second Novitiate year before leaving. Just was not the right fit. My leisure time includes card making and arts. I also love to read. I go to occasional movies and watch television quite a bit. Just being honest. I am trying to improve myself emotionally, physically and spiritually. I have a lot to work on in those I am considering a move soon to Wisconsin or Minnesota where most of my family are near.

The Lord's will for my life is vitally important. My husband died Nov. 1, 2015 with all kinds of signs of God's presence and love for all of us very evident in the midst of his death and since. We had an excellent marriage, especially the last few years. We both continued a path of spiritual, emotional, etc. growth. This is something I desire in any future relationship. My children (7) are all quite emotionally healthy. 5 are good practicing Catholics, another is a v strong christian the 7th is on his way. We give each other space, but also interact very well. I worked as an interviewer for some cancer research projects, absolutely loved doing all the conversations that were very meaningful. Truth, love, kindness and mercy are vital. I enjoy the visual arts, meaningful conversations with friends, time with the Lord, playing bridge, doing art quilting, and am involved in a couple of ministries at church (cards for the home bound, and a newsletter for those willing to pray daily for the needs of the church at large). I enjoy continually growing in all kinds of ways. Am adventurous too. Am a good listener.

I love sports, the arts, good food (Like to cook, but not a chef!) burgers and beer to fine dining and wine, live music, flea markets and antique shops, flowers and gardening, talking and being quiet. I'm loyal to my family and friends, and I feel comfortable in new situations and with new people. I work as a Speech/Language Pathologist, so good communication is a BIG deal to me. I love watching TV (especially DIY and PBS), but not most current shows. I enjoy walking/hiking, bike rides, and playing friendly tennis. I love morning light, especially in the summer on my days off! I live in jeans, but I love dressing up. Having the family for holidays, and helping them feel pampered and special is very important to me. I love board games and the card games I know, : ). I guess, I like a lot of different things, I like to try new things, and I enjoy spending time with people who are easy going, like to have fun, and can laugh at themselves. I value honesty and unapologetic living of my faith.

I don't put pictures on my computer, but I would say I'm average looking & try to keep myself up to date with the styles & such. I am looking for a companion to have fun with, to travel, dinning & just to enjoy each other's company. As it's more fun doing things with someone than alone. I have my family but been widowed & would like someone about my age with a slower pace I guess with interests like mine. I like to travel, read, cross-country ski, music, good country dinners & above all my Catholic faith. Would like a good dancing partner too. Let me know if interested. Dell.
