65, Pittsville, WII guess you could say I'm passionate about health & fitness. Its so interesting to learn what we eat affects our health. Lifting weights helps a person stay strong as we age. The person I am seeking would be into health & fitness as well. But also enjoy a glass of wine on special occasions. Attending Mass is important...along with reading & searching for new insights on my spiritual journey. I love decorating with antiques or unusual items to create a beautiful outdoor living space. Long walks in the woods or park like setting is one of my favorite things to do when weather permits. My granddaughter was hospitalized for almost a year...that experience helped me to realize how important it is to give back. Volunteering at the local hospital is my way of saying thank you to the nurses, child life specialists and others for working so tirelessly taking care of everyones children. My children are grown and on their own. We check-in with each other on a regular basis especially since their father has passed away 4 1/2 yrs ago. I'm so proud of my kids and how they stepped up to the plate in helping to care for their father. We all took shifts to give him round the clock care until his passing. I am 1 of eleven children raised on a farm. This has definitely taught me to appreciate the land, animals & nature. At one point I owned and operated my own farm...It was a famiIy adventure. Opened the farm every fall to the public. I love to go to Christian rock concerts. There are so many talented artists. Switch Foot is one of my favorites. I love seeing a great movie for the first time in a theater. This fall was one of the most beautiful I have seen in a while...the colors were fabulous! There are several wineries in Central Wis. ...a great place to enjoy the colorful fall scenery with a great glass of wine. I enjoy day trips checking out historical communities. I am now semi retired and this has opened up more opportunities to travel. Just came back from Houston July 2012 and am ready to plan my next trip to visit my brother in San Diego.
61, Menomonie, WIMargo's May 2017 update: I am doing the "I'm going to be a grandma" dance again. My daughter in law and son in Germany are expecting a baby in late October 2017. I found a new Dorothy Day book at the church thrift sale the other day. She is one of my favorite saints. March 2017: I'm a new first-time grandmother. My daughter is a good mother, I am just getting to know my sweet baby granddaughter (she knows my voice!) and my son-in-law is an active dad. It has been a special time. My parents, ages 88 and 85, still live at their home in North Dakota. I returned from visiting them a few days ago, my first visit since fall. I am rich with important relationships. September 2016: My son's wedding in Freiburg, Germany, led me to visit Europe for the first time. All three of my children were married within 16 months, all in Catholic churches! My two daughters, their husbands, my ex-husband and I attended the wedding in Germany. I hiked in the Black Forest, toured an old castle and loved watching the engineer on the electric train. General profile: I love the arts, being outdoors, sunshine, strong coffee, talking with friends, pretty things, social justice. I am a good person who has sought to live an authentic, honest life. Love science fiction books and movies; Netflix is the best! I am a licensed psychotherapist. I have worked hard to build, then rebuild, a unique and balanced life. It's a keeper. I also own a business unrelated to my profession. I'm in the planning stages for writing a few books. I married at age 24 and was divorced at age 39. My children are all in their 20s. I have had one deeply serious relationship since my divorce. I graduated from college at age 22 w/a degree in journalism, was a newspaper editor and reporter in three states for 21 years. (My eldest daughter and her husband are journalists in northern Minnesota.) I was accepted into graduate school at age 43 and became licensed several years later. My right arm is disabled due to a car crash in 1999; I have grown so comfortable with that I forget I'm disabled.
69, Eau Claire, WII lost my husband of 37 years in 2006. I enjoy reading, gardening, going for walks, motorcycle rides, and attending live concerts. Would love to do some traveling. Have 5 grown children, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Have lived in the country for 44 years and love the outdoors.
69, Marshfield, WII love to be with people, so I'm looking for a great friend and companion. Are you flexible, do you have a sense of humor? Family is very important to me as I come from a very large family. Adventures of any type appeal to me, from road trips, travel to new destinations, playing tennis, going to baseball games, even football games (annual Seattle Seahawk game over Christmas). Some day I want to go motorcyling (riding as passenger), on Mt. Saint Helen. She is one of the most awesome sights and places I have been too. Niagara Falls paled to her when I saw this mountain for the first time in 1991. Movies and dinners out are one of my favorites. Playing board games and cards, it really shows a great deal about the person. Music, concerts, plays, traveling, and gardening are some of my passions.
66, Elk Mound, WII am a watercolor artist. Much of my work is of rural mid-west. I have a dog she is pretty good most of the time.. I like to travel and enjoy being with people..I am easy going. I have been divorced for years and as of yet haven't met some who has taken my breath away .. thank God for the parents I had and the family I grew up with and the people who are in my life now.. I am on line to make a connection with someone who finds it important to find a best friend because I think that in married life a couple need to be best friends...without good communication and trust in one another a marriage could be doomed. Although I am alone but not lonely, I want to fill the hole in my life that often seems void...I like to do and am up for anything except......I am also not looking for the ideal man who is fit and trim and wants someone who is fit and trim....actually I found a long time ago, you must go beyond the exterior to find the real person in the interior of the soul...
62, Menomonie, WII love dancing, anything from line dancing to mazurkas, from polkas to waltzes. I enjoy camping and gardening, going for walks, bike rides. Motorcycles are a thrill! I like swimming and boating. My son-in-law taught me fly-fishing on my last trip to Montana. I'm not afraid to bait my own hook or take the fish off the hook. Or I might just read a book or knit while my fishing partner lands the entre. ;-) I am a member of a chamber choir in town, and I sing and play my guitar in a folk choir for Mass. I love to perform in musicals in our local historical theater, and I have also performed in a group that does Peter, Paul and Mary type singing. Lots of fun! I come from a large family, and we get together fairly often. Three of my 4 children are married and through them I have 9 grandchildren. They are indeed blessings. I'm a pretty laid back person. I don't get upset about much - it isn't worth the energy. I enjoy having get togethers at my house and play games - indoor or out. I enjoy children - Before I retired, I worked at an elementary school, and the favorite part of my job was caring for children when they come into the office needing help with injuries or illnesses. I was married for 31 years, and after my husband's death from cancer in 2008, I have learned how important it is to go through life with a thankful heart for what God has given me. I have become stronger in my faith and wish to continue to grow in it.

65, Wisconsin Rapids, WIThe thing that I look forward to the most is a long term relationship ending in marriage to a partner who shares my belief in God, values ,and commitment to a full and happy life.I am interested in travel, reading ,gardening and sitting on the porch holding hands and talking. Becomming a mother to five has influenced me most because just as the Lord does for us I have tried to be everything for them ,now that they are grown I am reassessing my life for the second half , I have had time to know me and I would like to share my life with someone who is equally open to having a significant other, to enjoy life with, all it's discoveries!
75, Marshfield, WIThe Lord's will for my life is vitally important. My husband died Nov. 1, 2015 with all kinds of signs of God's presence and love for all of us very evident in the midst of his death and since. We had an excellent marriage, especially the last few years. We both continued a path of spiritual, emotional, etc. growth. This is something I desire in any future relationship. My children (7) are all quite emotionally healthy. 5 are good practicing Catholics, another is a v strong christian the 7th is on his way. We give each other space, but also interact very well. I worked as an interviewer for some cancer research projects, absolutely loved doing all the conversations that were very meaningful. Truth, love, kindness and mercy are vital. I enjoy the visual arts, meaningful conversations with friends, time with the Lord, playing bridge, doing art quilting, and am involved in a couple of ministries at church (cards for the home bound, and a newsletter for those willing to pray daily for the needs of the church at large). I enjoy continually growing in all kinds of ways. Am adventurous too. Am a good listener.

65, Eau Claire, WII put God as #1 in my life and am looking for a man that does the same. I am trying to lose weight again because for some reason I have put alot on.
