I started a new adventure in my life. I went back to school and graduated in May of 2008. Recently moved to Rhinelander, WI to continue this new career that I love. It is hard starting over and would like to find a good friend to spend time with. I would like to say that I am a quiet person but I am not. Start out timid but love to listen to and share life stories and experiences. I would like to find a person to share time with, like maybe a movie or dinner or walks and conversation. If you would like to take me fishing I will buy the bait.

Greetings in Christ! My name is Ramona; friends call me Mona. I love the Lord and enjoy going to various Catholic churches to worship Him. I love to travel and look for Jesus in nature, grottos, hot springs, mountains, etc. Hiking and kayaking are my favorite forms of exercise. Love of animals is also right up there. You name the pet and I have probably had at least two! I'm guessing I have 37-50 plants in my house. LOVE the Lord's Lifeforms!! My home is the Son's Sanctuary.

I enjoy the simple joys of life, taking long walks along the River, Railtrail, or Country Roads, landscaping my little acre and a half in the country, carting my burro, bonfires, volunteering for parish, community, and school activities, listening and dancing to some of our local bands, and especially relishing my time with family and friends. I feel my Catholic Faith is integral to the person I am and my outlook on life. I teach preschool age children at our Catholic School and enjoy this ministry with my whole heart and soul. I cannot imagine doing any other job. I feel I can have the largest impact in developing Christian values, Character, and enthusiasm for learning with this age group. I try to live a healthy lifestyle and am active, most days of the week. People generally say, I have a positive outlook, upbeat attitude, quick to smile and I am someone that is easy to get along with and caring. I also have a sense of humor and a passion for life and it's blessings. I feel I am politically more conservative and strongly supportive of the prolife perspective. I'd love to build memories together,of sharing time, enjoying similiar interests, talking with each other, sharing Mass, Adoration, and Parish Activities. Possibly, visiting sites within the USA (redwood trees, walk barefooted in the sand of some ocean beaches, to see the Grand Canyon and share laughter and special times together. Maybe someday a foreign country, (I have the passport, but not the experience, yet). My life is filled with blessings of family and good friends, but I am still looking for someone to be friends with first, and then see if something more develops, mutually. I am hoping for someone who shares my faith and values, shares some of my interests, is honest, trustworthy, and kind. As for committment, I won't know until I know! SMILE!!! Hope to hear from you, Who knows? Only God!

I look forward to spending the winters in sunny Florida. I like snow but not the cold temperatures! Since I retired I have taken up playing Bridge and Mahjong to keep my mind working. This past summer my youngest daughter and I took a trip to Spain and Paris., (was on my bucket list) I love to travel, but prefer driving in a car. Lots to see yet in this wonderful country. Looking for someone with the same things on his agenda. upnorthally

I'm a very simple person who has found through life that the important things in life aren't things. Sharing your life with someone is the most rewarding thing that can happen in your life. I would like to spend time with a companion who has the same interests and ideals that I do,

What I look forward to most is getting my home the way I want it. I enjoy cooking, canning, gardening and crocheting. In summer I enjoy swimming and in winter snowshoeing. People who have influenced me were my parents, a priest, a sister, and my grandparents. All showed me how to go through this life with dignity and self worth. I believe that most people are good.

I have been on this site for almost a year now, so have decided to update my profile. What I have observed in this past year is that people online are perhaps more cautious in starting a conversation than they would be if you were to meet by chance elsewhere. That is understandable, but regrettable. Life is short - let us take a chance! As to who I am, I spent the majority of my life enjoying a successful career in accounting and financial analysis. I really loved the many challenges in my work, and it is in my nature to become immersed in what I love. I did not pay enough attention to maintaining a more balanced life in the passing years, letting the joy of the challenge of my work sweep me along. Even so, I had fallen in love and was committed to that relationship for some years until it ended sadly. I then doubled down on my dedication to my work, and it wasnt until I stepped away from that job that I fully realized there was no substitute for human companionship. I often think that life would be richer if I could share the beauty (and the challenges) of it with someone else. I joined this site in the hopes there was a potential friend out there that wasnt intimidated by my independent life so far, or dismissive of me for having reached this stage in my life without having married. I am just a normal person that was not blessed with that path in life, although I was blessed in many other ways. I moved back to the midwest several years ago to be closer to my family, and because I enjoyed more open spaces and changing seasons. I have an uncomplicated life and enjoy a variety of things, such as plants, gardening, fishing, reading, games, a bit of woodworking and home repair. My strengths are a fairly good range of life and professional experiences, a reasonably quick and rational mind, a good listener, and a commitment to exercising and good health. I greatly value honesty. I tend to be very logical, am fairly well read, interested in a wide variety of subjects (particularly science and history), have strong ties to my family, appreciation of my faith, inquisitive, and open to new adventures. I have a good sense of humor that some people bring out in me more than others. I am fairly skilled at Scrabble and other word games, as I love mental challenges. I was quite shy when I was younger, but have mostly overcome that. From my dad, I picked up a can-do attitude that makes me attempt things that just need to be done or are interesting.
