49, Milwaukee, WIWell, I guess my friends would describe me as being an extremely down-to-earth person... sometimes I'm a bit shy, but once you get to know me and I get warmed up... watch out, because you are in for a treat! :)) I have been known to leave people in stitches, due to my slightly warped sense of humor... I tend to be relatively quick-witted, with a dash of sarcasm... all good, I promise! I am a very sincere person and try to be upfront and honest with the people in my life, so I expect the same in return. I love to do just about anything and am always up for trying something new... call it my sense of adventure... within reason of course! I love watching movies (at home or in a movie theater), going to ethnic festivals down at the Summerfest grounds, trying new food and testing out new recipes (I love to experiment in the kitchen), traveling (doing spontaneous day trips are right up my alley... Chicago, Wisconsin Dells, Door County). I love dogs. I love to garden and grow my own veggies in the summer. I'm very passionate about photography and have even had my photos published. I also enjoy a good game of ice hockey... watching it, not playing it! ;))
39, Waunakee, WII'm a single mom and an OR RN. I love my son more than anything, and enjoy watching him grow. Despite life being insanely busy all the time, I know he needs a daddy, and I need someone to love and who loves us. I have a big heart, and a lot of love to give. I've always wanted to be a stay at home mom, but life hasn't allowed that at this time. With how crazy this world is, I want to know my son is raised knowing and loving God, not loving the material things or entertaining dangerous lifestyles. We moved to Waunakee, Wisconsin in June of 2016 from Houston, Texas. <3 I love it how beautiful it is up here. There's so much nature close at hand, which is exactly what we wanted. Madison is a wonderful city, I just wish it wasn't so liberal. As I've grown older (I know, 39 isn't old), I've awakened to how many chemicals are in our foods and products we use, so I've started to eat more organic foods, and make my own body care products like lotions, shampoo and conditioner, etc. Not only is it healthier, but it makes you feel accomplished that you're not depending on big pharm or big conglomerates to make your daily health care products. Plus, it's fun and creative. :-) I am realistic, and I know it's expensive. We do our best to be healthier in our food choices, but sometimes you can't afford organic. Just like anything in life, we just do our best. I've not dated much since my son was born, but he's old enough now that I think it's time to get out there. I look forward to meeting my soul mate and Joey's future daddy. :-)
42, Menasha, WIJeremiah 29:11. I'm a work in progress, attempting to let go the burdens of unrealized plans and just trust that He has the ultimate vantage. So here I am trying to be open to those plans once again. I am a cradle Catholic with a renewed love for the Church. I've traveled all over but live in the town I grew up in, in the house that my grandfather built. Outside of work, I'm a catechist, I freelance for the diocesan newspaper, and I help with various ministries. My free time is mostly spent with friends and family or working my second ("hobby") job. God holds the first and highest place in my heart but I do believe there is room for one other, the one I'm hoping to share this life with and to help lead to the next.
63, Madison, WII'm creative, healthy and fit, with a quick wit and a good heart. I'm also independent, affectionate, romantic, down to earth, loyal and a good listener. I find refreshment tending my perennial garden, creating beautiful items and pausing to appreciate God's creations. I enjoy many sports as a participant or spectator (including Badgers and Packers), live performances, and art/craft shows, hiking and biking, to name a few. I started playing pickleball 3+yrs ago. Growing up in a rural setting was a blessing. Thanks to mom's love of animals our lives were blessed with horses, cats and dogs. I am blessed with a job which utilizes my education, experience and problem solving skills. I'm active in my church. I'm a former teacher and love children. I would love to meet an active, healthy, sincere, romantic man to share my faith and life with. A best friend. I'm comfortable with where I am in my life. I feel blessed. Thank you for reading my profile.
57, Milwaukee, WIHi, I'm dependable, honest, fun loving, more casual than dressy. I enjoy trying new restaurants, finding Wisconsin's hidden treasures, camping, light hiking, walking, gardening among other things. I'm looking for someone who is honest and trusting who enjoys some of the same things - friendship first that could develop into a relationship.
55, South Milwaukee, WIMy faith in Christ is the most important aspect of my life! I attend daily Mass which I really enjoy! I do my best to live a life filled with faith and purpose. I love Chicago sports, Cubs, Bulls, Blackhawks, and yes the Bears:). I am a huge Cub fan.... so it is an exciting year for me! I have two adult children in which I have a great relationship with both. We get together at least one a week and talk/text daily. Social justice holds a high value in my life. When my kids were younger, I was a foster mom for Catholic Charities....fun but challenging! I am an instructor for a major University. I have the honor to be apart of a program in which all my students are veterans.... I really enjoy my job! In my free time... I follow politics.... I enjoy hiking, boating, and farmer markets. Though I own plenty of black dresses...I am very simple. A perfect date to me would be to going to a sporting event or live music!
29, Spring Valley, WIFirst and foremost, my Faith is extremely important to me. I am a Christian and strive to live by my Faith everyday. I consider myself a "shy" extrovert--it takes me a while to warm up to people, but I get my energy from being around people (odd, I know). I love to laugh, and it is not difficult to get me to laugh. I am constantly yearning to learn new things albeit knowledge, skill, food, etc...I love to travel, read books (mostly novels), watch films, cook. I have grown up with a strong foundation and my family and friends are extremely important to me. Though I love to soak up knowledge, I also take value in experience and observation to live life by.
71, Bristol, WIHi I love to travel, go to movies and plays, especially musicals and comedies. I have 4 children 7 grandchildren who come first for me. I am very proud of all of them. One of my best experiences was traveling to Italy with the Archdiocese for the canonization of the two popes in 2014. My husband and I were fortunate to be able to travel to other countries as well as in the US. I enjoy reading and golf (but I'm very bad at it). I am a proud Rotarian, a board member for Women and Children's Horizons, treasurer of my lake property owners association and member of my parish human concerns committee. My husband and I were high school sweethearts, dating at 16. We grew up in central Wisconsin, me in town and he on a farm. We had similar backgrounds both growing up in Catholic families. I am the youngest of my parents' 11 children (8 remain). He died November 28, 2011, at age 65 (the Monday after Thanksgiving) when one of our daughters was deployed in Afghanistan. I am healthy and active, love to travel, walk and hike and swim in my lake. I thought I'd give this a try as I'm tired of doing things alone. Looking for someone who likes what I do and wants to spend time with me.
35, Merrill, WIHello out there, my name is Brenda I'm a very easy going person. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, gardening, fishing, learning about history, and deepening my faith and learning more about Catholicism. I also love to cook. I enjoy going out and being social but I also love quiet nights at home. I would consider myself agnostic until Spring of 2015, around that time I suddenly had an urge to learn about Christianity and I was drawn to the Catholic church. I read some books and finally contacted the Church in my area and went through RCIA. I was confirmed at Easter Vigil 2016. I love volunteering for my church as much as I can and meeting new people and becoming more involved. Family is very important to me so relocating is not really an option for me. I am also an animal lover I have 3 (yes I said 3) dogs who are my fur babies. I am a very genuine person, I am very honest and trusting which has gotten me in trouble in the past because I expect the same from others but as we all know that's not how the world works.
60, Neenah, WITravel has always been a part of my life. I love to explore and learn about various cultures. My adult children and young grandchildren do not live near me so traveling throughout the US and Europe to see family is a part of my life. I also love nature and being outside. I usually walk 1 to 3 miles a day and/or bike 7 to 10 miles daily weather permitting. Though I haven't had the opportunity recently, I enjoy camping. Also, enjoy cooking over a fire or sitting around a fire deep into the evening with family and friends. Playing cards, golfing and farm markets or festivals are also favorites.
79, New Lisbon, WII like the outdoors.Maybe even travel. I like volunteering in my Church and community ..I like to treat people the way I like to be treated. I am a good listener. Wherever this takes me it is all in Gods plan.
32, Muskego, WII believe that happiness is a choice. Happiness isn't earned by our achievements, nor is it made possible by acquiring certain material possessions. Happiness is something that is a constant daily choice. That being said, I consider myself to be a happy person. I'm not into drama or gossip, I would much rather be playing with my dog or outside counting the stars. I love being outside. I love lending a helping hand to those in need, and I am a sucker for lost causes. I love my family, they mean everything to me. I love to cook. Spaghetti, meat loaf, chicken pot pie, banana bread and creme brulee are my specialties. I love to laugh, watching stand-up comedians on Netflix is one of my favorite things.
