Thank
you Catholic Match, for bringing us together. It is very exciting for
us to share our story with you. We first met on CM on Feb 14, 2005. (A
date we won't forget). We got along really well with a shared interest
in rugby, music, and our faith.
We exchanged the usual e-mails
and got to know each other over the next few months. We agreed it would
be best to take things slowly, and be sure of how we felt. I had never
fully known what being truly happy in a relationship was, until I got
to know Shelagh. It may only have been a few months since we first met,
but in that time we have learned so much about ourselves and each other
and realized we were falling in love with each other.
As we live
at opposite ends of the country, it is sometimes difficult to meet up
with each other. We try to meet up every two to three weeks. Flying up
and down the country to meet up is starting to seem like we are just
waiting for a bus. It is very difficult to say goodbye to each other
when we return home. Although it is only for a couple of weeks at a
time it seems like an age goes by. We have met each other's friends and
family, and have been welcomed with open arms and loving hearts by one
and all.
It all comes down to CM being such a wonderful place to
meet lots of friends. Thank you to everyone concerned at CM. God bless
