Rich and I (Kim) first communicated via email back in the spring of
2005. He seemed like a nice guy to me, but I was already getting to
know another man that I met through Catholic Match. So Rich and I went
our separate ways. Little did we know, we had not seen the last of each
other!
Towards the end of 2005, he sent me a smile emotigram on
Catholic Match, and I re-read his profile. I emailed him on January 7,
2006. He quickly responded to my email and we began writing each other
daily. He called me for the first time a week later, and we hit it off
immediately. We began to talk on the phone almost every day and set a
date to meet in person early in February.
We went bowling and it
was so much fun! We knew that we had to see each other again...to see
if God really wanted us to be dating each other. When we finally met
for our second date on March 25 (a range of things from snow to
sickness kept us from seeing each other until then - even though we
made plans each weekend, they always fell through) I knew that God had
sent me someone special. To date, we are still together and are taking
it one day at a time. I praise God each day for the blessing that Rich
is in my life!! I never knew that I would be so lucky to find someone
to love, as I love him. I know that it is reciprocated...to all of you
still searching on Catholic Match don't give up! It took me three years
on here to find Rich, and he was certainly worth the wait!
