The seeds of love take time to flourish and grow, and two Catholic couples are seeing their flower of love grow on the same timetable. Both couples met on CatholicMatch in 2011, and both were, or will be married in 2013.
It was July of 2011 that Aimee and Tony connected. Forty-year-old Aimee lived in Cincinnati, and her searched turned up a man two years older, and living in relatively nearby Indianapolis, less than a two-hour drive away. After a couple weeks of online chats, they decided to get together for their first date, and Aimee immediately sensed something special in the works.
Tony and Aimee begin with the common ground of faith and commitment to family, and their interests complement each other in a way that the relationship has opened new worlds to both of them. “He has introduced me to the world of sporting events and I have introduced him to the joy of theatre,” Aimee told CatholicMatch. “We have a lot of fun together.”
Aimee also noted that the fun is not confined to going to events, but can be through something as a simple as a quiet evening in each other’s presence. The couple is blessed with the capacity to enjoy each other in activities big and small, all woven around the firm foundation of faith.
After dating for a year and a half, Tony proposed marriage and Aimee said yes. They were married this past March.
