We met on Catholic Match!!!! Wow! What a blessing!! God truly has a plan for
each and every one of us. Patience is important when finding the one you will
spend the rest of your life with.
Andy was attending graduate school in
Arizona, and I was teaching in Oregon. Before we even met, we had talked for at
least 90 hours on the phone. We became best friends before we even met! I flew
down to Arizona over my summer break to see some family friends. Andy drove up
from Tucson to meet me and when we met, we were both speechless!! Was this
person real? Was it a dream?? It was such a wonderful day!
We have been
inseparable in heart and spirit ever since. During my time in Arizona, we took
a road trip up to the Grand Canyon and had such an amazing time. We dated and
took many trips, visiting each other in Arizona, Oregon, and now Missouri. In
April of 2008, Andy made a surprise visit to Oregon and proposed. Our wedding
date is set for October 18, 2008. He is SO MUCH MORE than I could have EVER
imagined! I thank GOd every day that he has brought Andy into my life.
