Lent is on its way and soon we, as a Catholic community, will turn our focus to the passion and suffering of Christ. Or will we? We lead very busy lives and fulfill many commitments and responsibilities, so it's no surprise that taking time for prayer can easily get lost in the shuffle. If this describes your situation, don't feel too bad because you're not alone. It happens to most people. But I'd like to offer you something that will help: The CatholicMatch Institute's Lenten Reflection Series.
The reflections will begin on Ash Wednesday and will be a brief, but valuable walk through the Gospel reading of the day with a few reflection points and a resolution you can work on throughout the week. The goal is to help ourselves remain committed to our Lenten sacrifice and spiritual improvement as we walk the journey together.
