68, Medicine Hat, CAMy life is wonderful and full, but I would love to find a special person to share it with. I am now teaching adults part-time, after more than 20 years of teaching elementary students. I've lived in Manitoba, BC, Ontario and Oregon, but have called southern Alberta home for many years. In 1995 I converted to Catholicism after much thought and prayer; it felt like coming home. My faith is central to my life. I enjoy close friendships with a number of wonderful people. I am also close to my siblings and their children. We live some distance away from one another, but talk and get together as often as we can. In my free time, I enjoy attending plays/movies/live music events, writing, reading, photography, gardening, yoga and hiking. I like to stay active! I love to travel; Italy is a favorite destination, but I'm open to traveling just about anywhere. I love to experience different cultures.
46, Calgary, CAWell, frankly am not comfortable revealing myself in public especially online because I like to reveal myself personally to the others in person. Since it is required to state about onself then I would say that I am very private, simple, easy to be with, fun loving, loves music, loves nature to explore and among others...I value my faith, family and friends..I have more to say and I think the space does not permit me to write all..get to know me first. then well see what happens next...
38, Calgary, CAConnecting with God everyday and I praying often is important to me. I love to travel, I love to be outside, I speak some Spanish, I'd like to learn more about languages if I can find the opportunity. I plan to do some hiking in Kananaskis Country this summer. I really would love to have someone who would enjoy hiking too. There are a lot of interests I have and I like to try new things. Recently I've decided, for the right person, I would be willing to have a long distance relationship.
38, Calgary, CAI am a Catholic Gentleman built of strength, love, compassion, indistinguishable laughs, hugs, big smiles and some where in there a geeky hopeless nerdy romantic. hahah I love to eat and taste new foods. Just the adventure in finding a new restaurant or hole in the wall pub is just as exciting as flying out to italy and sitting in a small cafe trying a real pizza pie. I read a lot of DIY books and comic books/graphic novels. I love to do reno's and carpentry...there is something about the accomplished feeling you get when you've done it yourself. I love music and will almost just about listen to anything except screamo and heavymetal ( my ears can't take it anymore hahah). I'm pretty easy-going when you get to meet me. I always make the best out of any situation cuz i like every encounter and every adventure to be memorable even in the small things that come along. I'm very close to my family and boy, do we love to eat. Seriously eating is the best way and an easy way to experience new cultures without having to travel too far when you can't. And the more authentic the cusine the better. So with that being said i also love to cook when i have the time. When it comes to cooking I've learned some from my dad and some on my own but mostly from my mom. Im going to be biast a bit but my mom is an amazing cook =) I'd love to travel more and i have done quite a bit with my sister who is also the world to me. People say we look like twins hahah eventhough we're 4 yrs apart. So for fun we always play that just to confuse people hahah =P However as much as i love my sister i feel its time to experience travelling with the one God has planned and prepared me for. Its time for new memorable adventures. On top of traveling i have wayyyyyy too many hobbies that i love to do such as carpetry, painting, drawing, designing, dancing, singing (karoke cuz I am filipino haha) playing the guitar and piano which I've left it alone for too long im a bit rusty =P and many other things. Tough thing about hobbies is I love to always learn new things so I'm always open to learning new things. well i think thats a good nutshell for now. want to know more then lets chat or message me. Talking is way more fun. If not, no worries and I wish you lots more luck in your search. Oh and if you do write me please know I will get to you if i am interested in your profile too and know that i'm not being rude if I don't write back.

51, Brooks, CAHi! I see each day as a new adventure and I hope you are enjoying yours! My adventure includes family, friends and work. I have been working at a Catholic High school for over 3 years now but as a mom of 5 beautiful children, I have always been involved at the school in some way. Our school is blessed to have a diverse cultural student population so I am learning about their culture as I support them in reaching their goals. Right now it's basketball season and there are weeks I am at the gym 5 nights to cheer on our teams. The players say I am the most "vocal fan", (that does sound better than LOUD lol!) I am also assistant coach this year for the JV Boys team. I am so grateful I have such extraordinary friends in our close-knit community. We love to support each other in parenting, prayers, walking, and visiting about our days, blessings and concerns. Both my parents are alive and live close by. I feel blessed to have this time to share in their wisdom and humor. My children (ages 14-24) are my gifts from God and to me, family time is FUN TIME! Playing cards, fishing and watching them play sports are some of our favorite times together. Reading is one of my recharging activities. Gardening is a relaxing hobby and strangely I really enjoy shoveling snow. I listen to a variety of music while driving but little if I am in my home. I savor the quiet. I rarely watch TV, but a DVD is a nice break once or twice a month. I am committed to growing in my faith, serving my family and living the life God has granted me. I try to focus on the positives and live with an attitude of joy! I truly have a servant's heart and I am looking for a wonderful man to share this beautiful life with. Thank you for reading along. God's blessings on your journey!
28, Calgary, CAI just moved to Calgary and am excited to explore the city. I love traveling and living in new places, so thank goodness for Face Time with family and friends.
28, Calgary, CAHello, I am originally from Ontario but currently living in Alberta. I teach music at a dance studio, and I also teach private students on the side. I completed my MA in Classical & Medieval Studies last year, in which I learned Latin, Ancient Greek, and Early Christian history. It would be nice to start my PhD one day. I would also like to find some work in a museum or library type of setting. But I am open to whatever the Lord directs me towards. On my spare time I like to read Catholic books, exercise outside, cook, and design my own video games (I don't do this nearly as much as I used to in my teenage years, but I just picked it up again this year to brush up on my computer programming skills). Back in Ontario I used to take sword-fighting classes - it would be great to return to that whenever I get a chance. Oh yes, lastly, I also like to practice music - currently studying classical guitar. I'm also hoping to take church organ lessons in the future.
23, Calgary, CAHey there, I am Emily! I am passionate about living life and I spend my time making coffee in the morning and studying the rest of the day away. I love travelling and getting lost in new cities, particularly when there is a lot of history to a place or it is really quirky. I thoroughly enjoy laughing and telling cheesy jokes. Also memes. Memes are great. I enjoy living out my Catholic faith every day to the best of my ability and having philosophical and theological discussions. I enjoy learning about history and the role the Church played in the development of the modern world. Mother Teresa is one of by biggest role models because she recognised the dignity of every person whom she encountered. Last year I was fortunate enough to find myself at her canonization. That was an eye-opening experience! Got a sweet tooth? I've got ya covered! I used to dream of opening up a bakery on a beach somewhere in Australia. While that dream has left, however, one of my favourite hobbies is baking and making chocolate truffles.
