Twelve is a number that carries with it a certain amount of spiritual authority for believers in the Catholic Church that of course being the number of disciples Jesus chose to carry out his divine mission.
But for Chris and Sandi, 12 has some magic too, but for more down-to-earth reasons. It took 12 messages on CatholicMatch between them to set the tone for a relationship that has grown into something special.
Sandi, 24-years-old and living in southern California, dealt with the same struggles so many other singles do, wondering when “the one” would come along. “I used to always pray to God that He simply allow for the right thing to happen,” she recalled. “I was simply excited for the day he willed it to happen.” Whether Sandi’s sort of humble submission to God’s will speeds up His plan or not, no one knows, but one can safely say it makes a person a lot happier in the process.
