27, Lafayette, LAWell, I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy when I was young, but I don't let my disability stop me from achieving the things I want in life! I was born and raised Catholic and I'm grateful for it. I find it pretty amazing to be part of a belief system that uses not only faith but also history and science to support its teachings and unify so many people throughout the world. Also, I love coffee and Halloween. I like throwing the occasional party. I like Louisiana culture and am proud to say I went to a school with a swamp on campus haha. I think I'm one of the few people in this world that enjoys doing a jigsaw puzzle. I can also spend hours painting or watching Netflix on a rainy day. I love knowing and using foreign languages, even if it is just bits and pieces. I'm kind of shy in the middle of a crowd, but I enjoy a good conversation and making new friends. I'm super accepting of people, so feel free to talk to me about just about anything!
44, Baton Rouge, LAHello, my name is Steven, I enjoy life, photography (astrophotography, landscapes, architecture, festivals, people having fun ), observing asteroids. Get marry and have children of my own (......let's start off as friends)
64, Zachary, LAI am a practicing Catholic. I'm family oriented and love to spend time with my family and friends. I like to play golf, hike, dance, watch Lsu & saints football. I like spelunking and geocaching. I like all music venues except Rap. I enjoying dining out with a nice glass of wine or eating crawfish with a cold beer.
25, Metairie, LAHello, my name is Christian, I'm 24 and I live near New Orleans in a suburb called Metairie. I am a huge movie geek I absolutely love everything to do with the art of movie making, especially acting. I'm still trying to figure out where God wants me to go with a career right now but I know He is working in my life and I will graduate soon. Please feel free to message me I'm looking for new friends as well as the love of my life! I am the oldest of four brothers who drove our mom crazy. Growing up I was involved with Boy Scouts and earned my Eagle Scout rank. Something people should know upfront is that in college I was a philosophy major which means I like having big debates about nothing and I am also very sarcastic. I'm sarcastic though because I love to laugh and to make others laugh. The best feeling in the world is to know that for a moment someone felt pure joy because of something you said or did. See? I'm right back at acting! In short I'm an actor who loves to bring joy to people. It's important to me.
64, Mandeville, LAEternal optimist with voracious appetite for life-long learning -- be it art, music, science or history. Blessed with ability to balance a writing career with ballet teaching. Love God, the Green Bay Packers (believing football should not be played beneath a dome), and baseball played just about anywhere (again, as long it's not under a dome). I'm pretty resilient, having grown up with 6 brothers who used to stuff me in the toy box and sit on it, or knock the wind out of me during backyard football games. I appreciate critical thinking and thoughtful analysis, but can also laugh myself silly, even in a room by myself (I am my father's daughter). Involved in dance my entire life, both performing and teaching. My background is in ballet, but I equally love to boogie to Marvin Gaye. I mainly work as a writer/editor/researcher. I value the company of someone who loves to read and makes the effort to express himself articulately. I'm passionate about libraries (also love to "visit" those of other cities, online). I also like to read local newspapers from other cities. I appreciate men who like and respect women, beyond being attracted to them. I'm abreast of current events and acquire information from many news sources. My parents were politically independent and raised us to vote for the person, not the party. I have retained this philosophy. Nutrition and fitness are key in my life. I spend as little time as humanly possible on the phone and have no use for chit chat. I enjoy stimulating conversations best during a long hike, and don't mind the silent pauses in between. How a man first introduces himself is key -- an easy, friendly manner, with a comment about something he liked in my profile. Finally, I think that proselytizing is best done by quiet demonstration of good character.
43, Baton Rouge, LAAs an educator I am impassioned by children and so, I always try to be the best mentor, teacher, friend, and human being I can be. On a personal side, my family has, and will always be that strong pillar to hold on. In my leisure time, watching a good movie, a documentary or walking by the water and appreciate nature makes my day. Otherwise, playing a musical instrument or reading. I am really down to earth, passionate about the weak, vulnerable and needy amongst us, and so enjoy doing voluntary work whenever I can. For I know it is by God's grace that I have and I am what I am today. I love and appreciate the simple things in life, I try to avoid being taken by material stuff, but celebrate as much as I can life, humanity, and nature.
31, Trujillo, PEHi there! This is Miguel, from Trujillo - Peru. I'm a psychologist and I really like my job and everything I do in my career, and also I really like teaching english. I love music, I think this special gift God gave to me for announcing his Word. I really like making new friends and meeting new people, specially who have the same faith than me to share. When I'm alone, I enjoy walking alone, watching series on Netflix with a deep message to receive, reading some spiritual staff, playing music and spending my time with myself, enjoying life!
60, Baton Rouge, LAHi there, First of all, it is awkward on any online match site, as I'm sure you can probably relate. But here we go :-) I'm looking to meet someone to enjoy this wonderful gift from God called life, to laugh, to love, to enjoy each others company, spend time with family celebrating holidays and worship my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I want eventually, to become one in Jesus Christ first, to love, cherish and grow our relationship and always be each other's #1.
70, Vacherie, LAI grew up in a small, rural village where services were provided by the parish. I was the last daughter and the second to last child in a family with 8 children. Our home was one of four in the middle of sugar cane fields and swamps in Southeast Louisiana. I once counted and remembered nine windows on the East side of our house. From each of these nine windows, plus the view from both porches (front and back), was a great view of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church. It was nothing to walk the .1 mile to the church for morning and Sunday Masses. The Catholic Church made a huge impact on my life. I enjoyed living in the country and never planned to leave Vacherie. However, I knew in order to find work, I'd have to leave there. I took a bus to New Orleans where I applied for one job and niavely expected to get it. I eventually did, but that's a story for our conversations. I met my first husband there and with him, got to know more of the USA. I worked in offices and eventually became a legal secretary, having worked for law firms for 20+ years. After returning to Louisiana, my husband's deteriorating health finally took his life. I loved him deeply and we enjoyed our life together. He admired my independence and continued to cooperate with my thirst for knowledge and need to learn about anything and everything I wanted to. I also enjoyed sharing in his interests like dairy goat farming and more! After he passed away, I married again. This time to someone I'd known since I was in junior high. He was a devout Catholic and inspired me with his faith and his determination to stay on a diet that was best for him. With this second husband a lot of time was spent laughing and enjoying searching for the music of our youth and movies. We particularly liked to watch Jeopardy together. His health wasn't the best when we married. In spite of that, we had eight wonderful years together. I'm an animal lover and over the years have had cats to share the household with. I like dogs as well and quickly make friends with dogs belonging to friends and family. Since returning to Vacherie, a large part of my time has been spent with family. I enjoy seeing them for visits, going out for meals together, helping those who are in need of help and in turn, receiving help from them. I've had 5 stepchildren and continue to receive a lot of joy being involved in each of their and their children's lives as I can. They've been so good to me and I love them.
57, Shreveport, LAI was born a Catholic and love the way we worship. Every Sunday in Mass I thank God for the privilege of Freedom to worship in the Catholic Church. I've been in the same great job for 29 years. I began this career as Executive Assistant to the Vice-President of Arkla, Inc. (now Centerpoint Energy) and eventually my boss retired and hired me to manage his family's entire household, including 7 staff members. My employers are in their mid 90's and my job will likely end in the next couple of years. I'm excited to find out what God has next in His plan for me! I already have a job offer, but am open to God's purposeful direction for where I'll serve Him next. Because I work 6 days per week at present, I enjoy being at home and relaxing family time the most. Although I was not blessed with children of my own, I am abundantly blessed by God with a deeply caring heart for children. I adore my nieces and nephews and my 2 small dogs.
70, Prairieville, LAI'm a new Catholic, having been Confirmed at Easter Vigil, this year. I was raised and baptised Presbyterian but have always been drawn to the Catholic faith and have attended Catholic mass, as an adult, more than the Presbyterian Church. After retiring in 2015, my husband and I moved to Alaska to be closer to his daughter and grandchildren. 3 days after we arrived my husband had a massive stroke and passed away a month later, Dec. 2015. I came back home in Jan. '16 to be closer to my family. I was lost and didn't know what I was going to do. I started going to mass with my sister and I really felt that the time was right to follow that feeling in my heart and take that first step to becoming a Catholic and one short year later I'm so thankful I did. My passion is animals. I've worked in both human and animal health for years and I can't think of anything else I would rather do than take care of animals. I also house/pet sit for my friends when they go away. Presently, I have a cat and 2 dogs. I also enjoy decorating and design, wine, dining out and going to antique and flea markets.
39, New Orleans, LAI'm an awesome and fun person and mom. I've worked in youth ministry for 20 years. I have full custody of my six kids and am happy with my life. Still, I'm open to meeting someone new and enjoying some grown up time! Guys- no mental illness, only good credit, strong job stability (can you tell my problems with my ex! Lol!). I've been through #$@% and am not interested in anyone who is domineering or chauvinistic. I'm in the annulment process but I'm interested in getting to know someone now anyway. If you've made it this far in reading my profile, message me!
