I'm a mother of 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren - mostly all out of state. Work as a part-time health care worker thru an agency. Love music from classical to good rock and blues, live theater, reading, watching TV, walking/moderate hiking in Myles Standish Forest, movies/independent films, discussing politics (interested in other peoples' opinions). I eat mostly healthy, recycle, care about a sustainable environment, learning/experiencing new things. I've begun an on-line course of Brazilian Portuguese because my community has an influx of them and I get to practice speech at various places they work! I visit other people's dogs, cats. FYI: I haven't completed the annulment process (divorced for 30 yrs.) but would be easily accepted by the tribunal if I wanted to marry again. Passions that change my overall being: attending live Plymouth classical concerts, walking downtown or in the forest, watching great old movies on TCM, conversing about subjects I know little about in order to learn something new, laughing and feeling happy!

There's nothing I believe in more strongly than the fact that we are made for love: to give it and to receive it; to find our greatest fulfillment in the giving of ourselves. This is the way that I intend to live, to the best of my ability, day in and day out. I am a lifelong Catholic and professional musician who loves his faith, his native California, traveling, good cuisine, and culture in all of its forms. In my work as a classical musician, I try to share my love of the faith and the beauty of music with others, and hopefully bring people closer to God through my work. I'm currently in the process of applying for a Master's in choral conducting, looking to enroll in Fall 2017. And if you're looking for some "references", here are three things said about me by some of my friends: 1) "You genuinely care about others"; 2) "You're determined and goal-oriented"; 3) "You'll give anything a solid try." I wish you the best, and may God help you to find your heart's greatest desire!

I have six children...all 21+, and a small school. Having been divorced, I have held myself to the belief that there are two parts to the Scripture about divorce...that is, if one must divorce, ok, but then you can't remarry. I am not sure now. Trying to listen to what God wants of me, constantly. It seemed I was nudged yesterday, over and over, to check into this site. Loving another person deeply and letting oneself be loved by another would be a wonderful thing and I see that, perhaps, it is one aspect of life that God would like for me to have. I don't know...I probably said that all wrong. I took that silly temperament test. I don't agree with it ...much. One of the first things it said in the analysis was that I was usually quick to say no. Good grief! I get myself in over my head because I can't say no! So I don't think the temperament test is a good analysis for anything. Plus, who is to say that people who take the test are honest? Anyway, there is my argumentative opinion. :)

I'm most passionate about people. I look forward to learning new things and traveling the world. I am grateful for the learning experiences throughout my life. I love to read, am fortunate to love my work, and on my free time I like to swim, travel, try new foods, and spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy quiet time and meditation, so I try to spend one hour per week in adoration or holy hour. Friends and family would say I am an optimistic and patient person.

I'm passionate about four things: faith, science, history and philosophy.I love discussing faith and politics, especially with people I'm comfortable with. I'm very shy and I'm not really a fan of big groups. My parents have influenced my life greatly, as have a few internet apologists. I consider myself a traditionalist, but I've never actually attended a Latin mass. As for leisure, I like PC games and talking to friends on Skype. I just noticed that I had a great deal of type-os in this profile for over a year... I promise I'm smart :)

Im "passionate" about having returned to the Church after 20 yrs. I'm joining Catholic Match because I'm serious about maintaining my faith and being able to continue to receive the sacraments unimpeded (if I were to be married). Who influenced my life? I would say it was the nuns and priest from my grade school era. It took me yrs. to realize that they had my best interest at heart. Another influence was my great aunt Mary, a devout Catholic; she was a serious person of prayer, always hopeful, kind and loving. She was my "grandmother." I am inspired by people like Dr. Scott Hahn and Dr. A. David Anders. Both men are converts who helped me see my ancestral faith with all the beauty and truth it offers. I'm retired. All my time is leisure time as it were because of this. At my old church, I coordinated a noon meal program for the needy. On the 4th Monday of each month we have a crew that cooks a meal. I also volunteer with a mediation team helping to settle neighborhood disputes. I keep up my RN license; I attend continuing education classes and do some (infrequent) private duty. I counsel in nutrition and answer nursing/medical questions. I have two cats and a dog, I enjoy my animals very much, They are very affectionate. I still enjoy riding motorcycles. Most of my family lives upstate. Re: Tattoos I only have one, a sm. Cross on my R. forearm.

I like living in the moment. Not to sound clich, but that is how I try to live my life. A lot of things happen in life that we can't control so I try not to worry too much about things that could happen

I am starting a new chapter in my life and looking for an honest, sincere man with a sense of humor, spirit of adventure and common values. I love life, continue to challenge myself and welcome the future with enthusiasm and a grateful heart. Friends would describe me as attractive, fun, social, intelligent, educated, independent, energetic and ready to roll at a moments notice. I love concerts, museums, archeology, travel, outdoors, entertaining and family. Enjoy good food, martinis, all kinds of music, meeting new people and discovering all kinds of new places. My faith and spiritual life are very important to me. I'm hopelessly romantic and would love to meet a kindred soul in that department. Have been blessed with good health, contentment, peace and joy. Would love to meet a man with the same heart as mine. Take my breath away with your charm, tenderness and twinkle in your eye!

I love movies, spending time with friends and family, and really pretty open minded. Came to Topeka to start my career as a business marketing graduate and am looking for great people to spend time with. I make lots of cheesy dad jokes and puns. I realized if I were to get serious with someone they would have to be catholic so here I am.
